    You inspired me to make my own first wand. Used a fallen piece of pine, carved and sanded. Used black obsidian for the end then got glued crystal chips down the handle then stained it. I absolutely love it so much 🥰

    About how much copper wire did you use for this? I’m getting ready to buy 5 yards, but I’m wondering if that will be enough.

  • @artificer5409
    @artificer5409 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    treated copper is copper covered with somethings be it a coating or a dye. so technicly the copper isnt touching the crystal. how much glue did you use? glue creates a barrier. Suede is an animal product. unless your binding an animal spirit , that the leather came from. its not a good idea to use animal products. make the hadle with copper or a plant based cord.
    it is best to use a bit of wood with as little knots as possable. each knot is a bulge in the ley line and needs to be blocked off. when it comes too staining , i would use a natural oil . many stains and vanishes come with chemicals in . a lot of things i make i use olive oil , its old school . but it still works as well as it used too.
    when wrapping the handle . if you twist the cord tight as you curl it round the wood and you will get a tighter handle.keep the tension on and tie it with the right knot and you do not need that glue. i use a whetstone to cut crystals by hand . but if you cant match the crystal to the wood , then match the wood to the crystal. ether way they should match up nice together without glue. the copper should hold the crystal in place if done right. wire spirals are great to make and look good . i cant see that youve connected the other end of the wire to anything. it just looks like you left it loose.
    sorry if i sound bossy , this is just an altinate opinion. i beleave you can do better and with less glue. if you have to rely on glue , then your not making it right. 9 out of 10 for the look .. a touch of silver would of set off the look of the wood nice. did you balence it on the handle?

      You could wire wrap the crystals to the wand. That's what I ended up doing for my broom, and it is way stronger than glue. I might have to make another wand with some updated techniques for the channel.

    • @SupWitchez
      @SupWitchez  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have a werewolf obsession too...well, actually, I am one, lol. Werewolves aren't exactly what you see in books and movies, though. It's not the human body that changes. It's the spiritual "double" that transforms when sleeping or in trance. You gotta check out "The Night Battles" by Carlo Ginzburg, "A Deed Without a Name" by Lee Morgan, and "Witches Werewolves and Fairies" by Claude Lecouteux.

    • @SupWitchez
      @SupWitchez  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Awe thank you! Personally I didn't notice my wand lose any energy. I have heard the same thing, this actually more warns against using iorn. Iorn is considered to be a material that negates magick and has long been used to protect oneself against curses. We also see that iorn has an affect on the fae and ward them off, we aren't 100% sure why but it is a theory that it is because iorn makes the fae lose thier powers. We have this folklore of iorn, however we still use iorn cauldrons and the magick turns out just fine. So I think personally it is fine, but i wouldnt use iorn in particular maybe? It depends how you feel about it and what your piece of wood spiritually conveys to you.

      Most wands from fallen or even cut are not live wood there fore they have no plant spirit with in if you do want to make a live wood wand and continue to work with the plant spirit there is a different processes and rituals involved .I'm not saying that wands that are not live are no good I have 2 myself it's just a different tool if you want to work in a shamanic tradition live wood is probably better but for craft work as an extension of energy I am happy with my regular wands.

    What thing is important to add in the wand? And what can you do if you can't find a stick 😅

    • @SupWitchez
      @SupWitchez  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, it all depends on what qualities you want your wand to have. Amplification was important to me, so I used quartz on my wand. I also work with the color purple alot, so I had to incorporate some purple into it as well. Anything that would be important is up to you.
      If you can't find a stick there are still alot of options. You can purchase a stick, etsy has alot of wood/stick options. You could also get creative with house hold objects, like wooden spoons or hair sticks. Making your wand out of metal is an option too. I've seen wands that are completely made from wire wrapping and crystals, they're super pretty.

    I'm Buddhist sky goer , astral dream yoga. Wicca book says hazelnut is for white magic, I planted them years ago, took one limb . should I ornament it and does it count if I have a metal handle on bottom. Any other tips.

    • @SupWitchez
      @SupWitchez  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wicca draws a lot of its understandings from Celtic magick and folklore. Things tend to get much deeper when you get into original material. Hazelnut isn't just for white magick, but infact an incredibly powerful tree of wisdom. The nuts grant prophetic abilities and sacred wisdom. The gaelic word for the nuts is "cno" and the gaelic word for wisdom is "cnocach." Hazelnut is used alot for divination because of this. There is also a very strong association with the other world and the fae. Which makes it a powerful aid for spirit traveling.
      You can do what ever you want with your wand. Ornament it if you like and have what ever handle you like. Just do some research into the materials you are using. Like for a metal handle you might want to use copper because it's said to empower fae magicks and your using a tree that is associated with the fae. Iron might be a bad choice for wood associated with the fae. Magick is really free form but I find it helps to have a metaphysical game plan when I make something like a wand. I pick out materials with energies that work together to empower my workings. I'm a believer that materials do have their own energy but we are the ones that weave that energy and purpose it.

    Where do you crystals can you get them in beach can you make them pls answer

    • @SupWitchez
      @SupWitchez  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Crystals grow in the ground. On rare occasion you can find minerals on the beach but they would look alot more like normal rocks vs a quartz point. You can't make crystals at home. Some crystals are made in laboratories, however, some people argue that only crystals made by the earth work for magick. Most people buy their crystals online or at local metaphysical stores. Though you should do your best to make sure the crystals you buy are ethically sourced. Hope that helped.

    So this is my testimony about getting back into the church after 10 years of being out of it. For awhile I was an atheist and then an agnostic, however, God delivered me out of a difficult and strange period of my life that left me without doubt of His existence and goodness.
    It's a bit of a long read, so bear with me.
    A couple weeks into February of 2018 I experienced some dreams of a strange nature during a time where I was isolated, depressed, and desperate. I've dealt with anxiety and depression for along time and I was at the end of my rope. I had considered seriously commiting suicide two years ago and when the depression hit this time I couldn't take it anymore. I was searching desperately for something that would allow me to leave the situation I was in.
    I was addicted to gaming and was very isolated. I also fell heavily into a series of books I was re-reading at the time that I had a great obsession with, The Dark Tower series by Stephen King.
    A few months into a reread of this series I had a dreams in February 2018 one of which I think was prophetic, having to do with seeing a woman and man in the dream that I later saw the next day while walking and while watching TV. This was a man and woman that I hadn't met or seen before.There were also aspects of the dreams (which I can't easily get into because it's difficult to explain due to the content) that led me to believe that The Dark Tower series having to do with parallel universes was real.
    I became convinced that there was a world parallel to ours, like the books, that I could gain access to if I used certain objects that I had in my possession . After weird events also began occuring in my home, with my television, and with me, I told my parents about all of it.
    They were adamant that what I was experiencing was demonic deception and that I should cease reading these books and give myself over to God.
    Being stubborn and delusional I decided to continue in what I thought was a great discovery and a way out of my situation.
    Events transpired over the next few days that left me in a state of confusion and despair. My father also ended up in the hospital that week. It wasn't until I began to cry out to Jesus that things began to change. I began to hear from God during this time. I felt like I should rid myself of the books as well as the stuff I had gathered connected to them.
    I eventually ended up getting rid of all the books and objects connected to them, as well as a lot of other stuff including my games. We were doing some work in my room at the time so luckily I had something to help keep my mind off what had been happening as well as grow in the word from listening to 107.9 on my radio.
    When we finally returned to church a couple weeks later the sermon and series was about the book of Daniel, some of which has to do with prophetic dreams and visions among other things. I know now that this wasn't a coincidence.
    Once I started getting involved in the church again and reading the Bible I found out that these things really aren't as uncommon or unbelievable as they seem. My mens bible study at the time had members that had experienced supernatural and amazing things as well.
    I know this isn't going to sound credible if you aren't a Christian. Back when I didn't believe, these stories didn't seem compelling or true to me. However I can tell you that if you reach out to God wholeheartedly he will reveal himself to you.
    I'd like to ask that if you're going through something right now, some kind of challenge or difficulty that you reach out to God and ask him to help you. Sometimes it may not seem like anything is happening, but if you're willing to hold on and push through you can see him move in your situation in miraculous ways.
    Here's more about the Gospel here:

    If any of you would like to receive or feel led to receive Jesus Christ as your saviour pray this and believe it with all your heart.
    Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and there is nothing that I can do to save myself. I confess my complete helplessness to forgive my own sin or to work my way to heaven. At this moment I trust Christ alone as the One who bore my sin when He died on the cross. I believe that He did all that will ever be necessary for me to stand in your holy presence. I thank you that Christ was raised from the dead as a guarantee of my own resurrection. As best as I can, I now transfer my trust to Him. I am grateful that He has promised to receive me despite my many sins and failures. Father, I take you at your word. I thank you that I can face death now that you are my Savior. Thank you for the assurance that you will walk with me through the deep valley. Thank you for hearing this prayer. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
    Good luck and may God bless you! And remember satan is a spirit of fear.

    How am i gonna get apple wood?

    • @SupWitchez
      @SupWitchez  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Etsy has apple wood sticks. I was just looking for an apple broom stick but none of the sticks were long enough. They were, however, the perfect size for a wand. That is if you want apple wood, you could use any wood or stick you find outside. Hope this helps 💜

    Magic does not exist. Delusions are bad.

    • @SupWitchez
      @SupWitchez  5 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      There are whole religions based around the spiritual practice of magick, the occult and esotericism. I wouldn't tell a Christian that jesus doesn't exist and that praying to jesus is delusional. It is rude to attack people over their spiritual beliefs. I hope one day you learn some manners and religious tolerance for paganism/wicca. Blessed be💜

      @@SupWitchez Christians are also delusional. I'm of the belief that spreading false information and beliefs like this only hurt the world. Root yourself in reality. That's what exists. There's plenty of "magic" that actually exists in reality. All you have to do is look. Lets spread that kind of information and love instead of delusions of spells and omnipotent beings.

      I totally respect that you are not a believer but I don't respect that you are trying to erase spirituality from people live's and dictate what people should spiritually practice or believe. Sounds like you have control issues and quite the ego. I do hope you over come that because I truly think you would be happier. Someone else's religion shouldn't be a concern of yours. I'm not sorry that my choice of spirituality makes you uncomfortable, but I do feel sorry that you don't have the maturity to live your own life and not let it affect you. I do hope one day you can entertain yourself without putting others down and trying to invalidate their spirituality to feed your ego. Get well soon.

    I have a quick question. Could I maybe a wand without wittling, sanding and staining? I have a fig tree in my backyard that has the most beautiful branches. Also, I think the fig tree represents divine knowledge, if I'm not mistaken. Regardless, I would love to keep it looking as natural as possible. Thanks for your videos. I'm a witchling, getting back into it after almost 2 decades. Your videos are very helpful, even though I haven't determined the type of witch I am yet. 💖🖤💖🖤💖

      Thank you for checking out my videos! I'm so glad you have found some use in them. To answer your question....make your wand however you want! There are no rules... unless you want to follow the rules of a tradition. It's all up to you. Plus, wands were just sticks once upon a time. They can be as natural or snazzy as you like.
