I guess as technology advances over time they can make boom effects or at least they can in theory accompany fireworks with drones but until then that's the alternative.
If they want to replace, they have to give exactly what the fireworks give, and then with more robust functionality on top of that. It's getting to Xmas in July etc.
If only my neighbors would choose drones over illegal fireworks. It'd be nice to not hear the loud booms several days before and after the 4th. 🤦🏻♂And yes, I've considered calling the non-emergency police about it, but since you have to provide your contact information and provide photo/video proof, I don't need to be visited by said neighbor that ends up getting fined.

There are some very real concerns that fireworks shows can cause for some of the areas mentioned in the report. A drone show is a great alternative that is also quite the spectacle. Why does an entertainment tradition top addressing those actual issues?

When you understand they spray aluminum, strontium, and barium above your head all day long, it kind of makes their climate change agenda seem pretty ridiculous. And cleaner air. Fireworks add metal ions and other pollutants to the atmosphere for all of us to breathe for several hours or days. Also scares the poor dogs. Just because something is a tradition doesn’t mean it’s smart.
Drones are actually pretty noisy. They sound like buzzing insects above your head. But I guess we need to get used to these buzzing eyes in the sky. Unfortunately they are here to stay.
Drone shows are wonderful and everyone likes them ; people also like lazor shows but however the 4th just would not be like the 4th without beautiful fireworks the bombs bursting in air!!!

I support this idea. Fireworks should be for graduation and big sports games.
