Really awesome to have Bo hill get on here. Love hearing her story or her ideas but also what she is talking about with the industry is accurate.
I am a fan! She calls it the way it is.
I’ve always been in awe of Bo. When I first started going to rodeos in the 1980s Bo ran in the same circuit I competed in. I would always check the entry sheet to see if she was going to be at that rodeo, it didn’t matter if a top fifteen barrel racer was entered it was always Bo’s name I looked for. I set my standard of my training ability by how close my time would be to hers. I still remember the first time I out ran her on her bay horse. I filled my permit at that rodeo, but to me, the joy I felt that I had the ability to train a horse good enough to compete at the same level as Bo was amazing!
I have been screaming about those incentives for years!
My favorite episode so far! Alot of things she said resonated with me. Especially people "rubbing their phones" 😂 the first thing I do with my phone in the day while I'm getting ready for chores is pull up the the gauge podcast. It takes me usually 2 days to finish one episode. I learn alot here and it inspires me to continue the path I have chosen to have barrel horses. Thank you Bo for this wonderful insight into your life 🙏 ❤️

Thank you for putting out continuously informative podcasts. Even if I'm not a diehard fan of certain trainers or prominent horse people, I still respect and appreciate the fact that you put out multiple perspectives. You can truly learn something from everyone.

Truco didn’t futurity. I know a previous owner. He did win a lot when joao was running him but, my bet is, it was a back door deal. I don’t think they paid that much cause beus bought him and he owns pink and ruby. It was a publicity stunt to make it look like hey! Pink horses go for a million! Naaaaawwwww. It’s just beus getting rich. The stallion owners that aren’t him and the breeders are not making crap. You can’t sell those pink and ruby babies for profit at all after you get them on the ground and paid in.
That’s just my opinion tho😊
