They don't put thousands of chemicals in tobacco, they spray and dope the crops with roughly similar amounts of insecticides and fertilizers that any other crop would receive. You may be confusing the toxic chemicals released due to combustion with agricultural processes.
This is not how tobacco is made. This video shows third world country tobacco 'production'. That cheap material will be used for really cheap or counterfeit cigarettes.
I know many people who unfortunately passed away at a young age, who never drank or smoked in their lives. I also know people who are in their 90's and have been smoking since they were 7. Life is roulette.
You could die falling in the shower, down stairs, swimming, skiing and even fishing. Live the life you want to live. If smoking makes you happy than enjoy it. People die everyday and we are all guaranteed to die at some point in our life.

I just quit smoking. 26 years I smoked a pack a day. 189,800 cigarettes are what I consumed. Give or take a few hundred for the days I smoked heavier. I feel so much better. My chest doesn’t hurt like it used to too. I taste food better and have learned how bad I stunk. So many people smell so bad walking around stores. If I had known how bad they smelled. I would have tried to quit sooner. But I grew addicted to the smell as well as the taste. It’s sad that something can take control of your life like they did mine. I would turn down jobs if they didn’t allow smoking and would plan my days around making sure I had enough to smoke. My wallet is also much happier.
Please tell me this is a joke. I'm not a farmer and I am a smoker but if this interests a 12 year old; get into farming or manufacturing and wait till you try tobacco at least until you have a full time job.
Tobacco, a plant native to the Americas, was first encountered by Europeans when Christopher Columbus and his crew arrived in the Americas in 1492. Indigenous peoples in the Americas had been cultivating and using tobacco for centuries before European contact, primarily for ceremonial, medicinal, and recreational purposes. Columbus's crew observed the native peoples smoking dried tobacco leaves. The first written accounts of tobacco use come from explorers like Rodrigo de Jerez, a member of Columbus's crew, who witnessed the practice and brought it back to Spain. Tobacco cultivation and use spread rapidly throughout Europe and the rest of the world after this initial contact. So, while tobacco was not "discovered" in the traditional sense by Europeans, its introduction to the broader world is attributed to the Age of Exploration.

Very interesting video. I do have an issue with the narration. There wasn't enough of it. I'd like to know more about what many of these machines do. As it is, the current narration is ... thin.
The narrator sounds so happy to be involved in the industry
I’m sure it’s an ai doing the narrations
really enjoyed the insights in this video, it’s fascinating to see the process behind cigarette manufacturing. but honestly, i can't help but think about the ethical implications of promoting such a product. while it’s informative, shouldn't we be focusing more on the health risks associated with smoking instead? just a thought!
Brb, going for a smoke. lol
I started smoking aged 9, im now 35, so iv been smoking almost my entire life, and i honestly can not see myself giving up any time soon
At around $2 each (in our country) that was like watching a money machine in action.
Very very fascinating!
I saw myself out in that hot field priming tobacco here in NC (lol).....my Dad worked at the tobacco factory for 40 yrs or so....everyone smoked I started young when I could sneak them out of his stash....no one farms tobacco anymore in this area. :)
Yep, grew up in Kentucky and it was the same there, everyone smoked and it was just expected that once someone hit 14 or 15 they'd start smoking .
When I moved from Northern VA to Western NC 20 years ago there were small tobacco farms all over the area. No more. Not a one.
@@navret1707 I saw tobacco fields around the Clinton NC area a few years ago but no one had worked the fields idk guess they cut the whole stalk down and it was in full bloom, so it needed topping. :)
North Carolina is the number one producer of tobacco in the nation. I grew up cropping tobacco. I was around 8 years driving the tractor pulling the tobacco harvester. Old school way
@@markisb3585 We had mules in the field or a tractor pulling a tobacco slide it was hard work and hanging it in the barns wasn't easy either. I started early in age from sun up to sun down.....lol my lower back still hurts every now and then I think just to remind me.....I'll be 74 in a few days. cheers :)
really enjoyed the insights in this video, Captain Discovery. it's fascinating to see the process behind cigarette production, but i can't help but feel that sharing this kind of content might inadvertently glamorize smoking. anyone else think it could have been better to focus on the health impacts instead?
I worked in Cigarette Corporation before as a Quality Assurance... As a part of Research and Development... we are the one who in charge of Monitoring Moisture content of a tobacco Leaves.. Tar and Nicotine, Some of the Main ingredients... Glycol, sorbetol, Glyceryn Alcohol and some chemicals Like the Code of PD 5025 its has a Black color Barley Casing... we use some laboratory equipment like beker specific gravity, Graduated Cylinder....
I smoked for 35 years, clean now for nearly 12 years, don’t miss it, and the price here in Australia is just ridiculous now, about $60 a packet I believe but it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, I used Champex and was successful on my 2nd go.
"Congratulations on staying smoke-free for almost 12 years! Hearing about the challenges of quitting, especially after 35 years, really shows how much determination it takes. It's great to know that Champex helped, even if it took a couple of tries-everyone’s journey is different. And yes, the price of cigarettes in Australia is definitely a big incentive to quit! Thanks for sharing your story; it’s truly inspiring for anyone who’s trying to quit.
Yeah, that Australia thing of very high taxation of tobacco and alcohol and the new limiting of social media of kids under the age of 16, is brilliant stuff! No need to mention the virtual ban of firearms in public hands. Hallelujah!!
Two months since my last cigarette and I’m NEVER going back. Smoked for 17 years.
3:06 "A machine automatically plants the seedlings into the soil"
Then panning to 4 Mexicans that are putting the seedlings into the machine
I couldn't help but laugh at that one 😂😂
My algorithm is fire, just found you today and I'm on board Captain! Instant new sub and super dope video. Most people don't know that nicotine isolate has many health benefits, look it up yall
Yeah acts as a stimulant....thats all there is to it.
The cons far outweight the pros
I'm waiting waiting for other ingredients beside tobacco leaves, but looks like they don't reveal the 'poisonous' additions😅
It's the burning of tobacco that releases the chemicals
Exactly
Aren't there tons of added shit though? I've heard that argument that that's why hand rolled cigars aren't as bad for you
@@jarrettfullerton2580it's all equally bad for you.
Tobacco built most of the southern United States. It has provided food for so many of our ancestors here. I have a huge respect for it.
I was always told to stay away from cigarettes.. but after watching this video and seeing how clean and effective they are produced. I might give them a try 💀🤣🤣
excellent
The video is very interesting and easy to understand, clearly explaining the cigarette production process!
I love smoking!
Thanks for the information
That's amazing. Love my tobacco
Yeah, it's great right up until it kills you.
@trustthescience2260 you don't like tobacco and you don't like death?
I've never seen before..this is the first time. Thanks 😊
If smoking don't kill me .watching this will
if my FART doesn’t kill u but my DESERT EAGLE will 😃
Wow, thank you for this helpful video. 😊
No worries!
When I was in the Navy in 75, I can buy a carton of cigarettes in the middle of the ocean for a $1.75
IN 1962 we used to get at sea for a dollar carton.
In 2024 in Australia it costs $2.50 per cigarette
1982@sea$6.00 a carton.
Here in the UK it's about £16 for a pack ($20ish dollars) but you can get dodgy imported ones for £4 ($3 ISH dollars)
Very cool video 😎
I never thought that cigarettes I smoke every day would be made like this.
so why don't they show when they put all these thousands of so called chemicals in the tobacco?
They don't put thousands of chemicals in tobacco, they spray and dope the crops with roughly similar amounts of insecticides and fertilizers that any other crop would receive. You may be confusing the toxic chemicals released due to combustion with agricultural processes.
Probably because they don't want people to stop buying ciggeretes. Or perhaps the fact is not true
@@James-yw1qf the first one
Amazing production. 20,000 🚬 per minute!
Billionaires Land😍😍
This is not how tobacco is made. This video shows third world country tobacco 'production'. That cheap material will be used for really cheap or counterfeit cigarettes.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS
I love ciggartes, im not gonna quit
Weak mindset😂
Then be ready not to quit die
You will when you arrive at the local nursing home 👍
I love chicken flesh as well.
I'm not gonna quit
@@paulradice3534nope will still have it even then
That's the most inaccurate thing I've ever seen. None of the processes is anything like he says it's done.
It's just an AI - generated voice anyway.
"Factory to cancers".
I know many people who unfortunately passed away at a young age, who never drank or smoked in their lives.
I also know people who are in their 90's and have been smoking since they were 7.
Life is roulette.
@rocon86 my great grandpa never smoke or drank, and he passed away at 105 years old in 2 months ago. He has a long life.
The cancer trigger is not tobacco,... please do more research to find out,...as cancer is now well understood n well documented....!!
Thanks for the CARRIAGE OF THE PRODUCE SERIOUSLY ❤
You could die falling in the shower, down stairs, swimming, skiing and even fishing. Live the life you want to live. If smoking makes you happy than enjoy it. People die everyday and we are all guaranteed to die at some point in our life.
True...but you are listing freak accidents and fluke things...smoking these things is making a conscious effort to shorten your life.
WOW Fantastic ❤
Imagine growing a crop of plants that kill people with no issue.....but if you have a little Marijuana in your pocket, you go to jail.
Look at the money the government makes off of cigarettes, that's why they all legal , the government is doing that to Marijuana now
Marijuana is an hallucinogenic which is far more dangerous
Because 1 makes a lot of money and the other gets you arrested.
Because the tobacco mafia made sure laws where on place to protect them
Amazing 😊
I love smoking

@@pablos8693-- whats so great about it?? 🤔 What's great about taking $5 -$7 at a time & lighting it on fire, seeing it burn up in smoke? 🤔 Do you like burning up money 💰 ??
But do your lungs love it?
@@QuanPookie no they have a disease
That was so cool, thanks for sharing this information with me. Now i know how cigarettes are made. Always wondered how tuey were made. Now i know .i knew about how tobacco was grown. But no idea about the cigarette manufacturing.
Now how do they make chewing tobacco 😂
They are!
I am so glad I quit smoking!!
😂😂 Watching the video showed that smoking is harmful to health, so I went to smoke a cigarette to fight off the fear.
😂😂😂
Cigarettes are terrible and have destroyed the health of so many people.
well that's non the point of this video. here it's about manufacturing, not health. please be more appropriate.
That's a lot of work to process for my puff. Great video. One last thing Lower The Damn Prices 😂
Who else look this while smoking😅
I'm 12 and after watching your video i have decided to start to try smoking. My friends give me cigs to try
That’s a terrific idea!
@@petermccarthy1716 remember to inhale
Please tell me this is a joke. I'm not a farmer and I am a smoker but if this interests a 12 year old; get into farming or manufacturing and wait till you try tobacco at least until you have a full time job.
@@jd4447 try smoking the whole entire cig without exhaling 😮💨 or even try french inhaling it. THE BEST!!
