I had a game yesterday where there was a clean N1 and me and one other person both claimed Medium. So that night I said my name and asked if there was a second Medium. They said "Ser Gregor [me] is the only one I see". So the next day I call them out as a liar, but there was a Sheriff who found a mafia member as well. We ended up lynching them, and that night I once again asked if there was a second Medium. Turns out the guy "misspoke" the previous night and there actually were two Mediums. So the next day I had to proclaim that actually the other guy was innocent, which ended up getting me lynched because I kept changing my story. So please, if you are a dead person and there are multiple Mediums make sure to be _very clear_ in saying so. At the very least don't actively say that there is only one when there are actually two!
I agree. Dead people need to spell it out clearly, like "A and B are both mediums." It doesn't get much clearer than that. But to be fair, sometimes mediums are also stupid and it happens that they don't make it clear to the dead who they are.

It would basically be a facecam with no gameplay. TTT Is not very stream-friendly unless you know nobody is watching you, for example if you're only playing with people you 100% trust.

There is a game called I'm not a monster which is similar to deceit in that some players are monsters trying to kill or infect the human majority, while the humans have their own objectives to achieve while figuring out who the monsters are. Gameplay wise it's similar to x-com, semi-turn based isometric game

This may be a weird suggestion. But you could try Mush, it has uninformed majority vs informed minority elements. Big difference though is it's a game that can last weeks and can have heavy roleplaying elements depending on how active you are with it on any given ship (playthrough)
There is a game called "push the button". The genre is same, but the rules are really different. It's super interesting and because the innocents have only 1 "lynch attempt" it gets really intense towards the end.
TTT is an amazing game to play. If you ever do play it there is a server called MOAT that has a beta server open that has a ToS inspired TTT gamemode and its really fun.

It speaks to how OP town is when there are a lot of people who straight up leave when they get maf/bad roles that don’t have many advantages. Seriously evil roles need more buffs to even the playing field as what is the fun when you know the likelihood of you winning is so low. The Spy had suddenly gone quiet after the first couple days, so it's possible they lagged out. The Jailor and Doc, though...not so much; especially the Jailor. I mean, if people don't have time to play a 15-20 minute game, then why even queue in the first place? Also, the matching system is messed up in ToS. I saw Shadow and Pipe only get 1-2 points for a Jester/Exe win because the amount of points earned depends on the level the rank the rest of the players are at. They're in the higher tiers of elo, so if the people they wind up matched with are in lower tiers, that's less points (win or lose) for them. BMG needs to change it so that people of the same elo are matched with one another. Folks try to climb the ladder for one of two major reasons: 1. They want to get as high in the elo ranks as possible (scoreboard stuff) 2. They want to get out of "elo hell" of playing with bronze players Problem is, the way BMG handles Ranked, even Master elo players will wind up being matched up with a Bronze rank player or two. That needs to be fixed (and is one reason I quit; if I climb to a high elo, I don't want to be playing with people in Ranked who don't know that Witch can't win with town or that WW can be found by a Sheriff on the full moon, or how to keep track of majority and random towns. That sort of thing is fine for new players, but not people entering Ranked on any level. Scum reading, I'll give a pass to because even some higher elo players struggle with it, though one would hope that most people in the higher elo ranks can scum read).

Joseph Bybee I use a method that is more often than not 80% accurate by night 3. Look at who hasn't talked, who has talked but just puts filler in chat so The don't look suspicious but in the process don't really say anything important. And check votes out usually you can build a prophile on players and start to tell who is evil fairly easily. The only problem is time you have to quickly determine a couple players who might be evil and then stud their behavior and the truth will come out as long as your paying attention.

And check votes out usually you can build a prophile on players and start to tell who is evil fairly easily. The only problem is time you have to quickly determine a couple players who might be evil and then stud their behavior and the truth will come out as long as your paying attention.
