Overpriced. At the end of the day it's a beach. Tons of beaches worldwide. Sure sub 2500 is still a bargain for a paradise. But I don't like overpaying. A taco for 7$ on an island, when it's almost like street food is just the locals price gouging foriegners
But to each their own, love ur channel and content anyway
Anyway my q is, what are good sites or app for finding short them accommodation month to month in kuala lampoor malaysia besides airbnb. Stuff only the locals know

You can get almost everything for much less than in that video if you‘re not after the fancy vegan/freelancer/touristy places. For example, the average price for a coconut if you buy it on a market or a regular place would be around 40-50 Baht, which is ~$1.30, so almost half as much as he‘s paying. You can pretty much decide what your priorities are and then get the same kind of experience in different price levels
@@TheRealNik. Well it's probably nicer to sit down in a nice beach bar to relax and sip a coconut while watching sunset than in the market😄 But you're right!
@@JooseTheNomad Of course it is, therefore I‘m not saying it‘s not worth it, but just that it’s a matter of personal priorities. If you‘d, for example, bring a beer from 7-11 to the beach instead of getting it on the bar, you‘d easily save 50%+. It‘s all a matter of convenience and the budget you travel on. Enjoyed your video, just wanted to add this for people who might got surprised by the high cost and encourage them that it’s also possible in a different way :)

I want to start working outside of europe but my job is extremely dependent on online meetings (preferably not in coworking spaces or cafes). I am considering Canggu, Bali but also open to Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia or Thailand. In your experience, is it durable to live in any of these locations and have a job with alot of online meetings? ☺
Yeah it's possible for sure! I'd say Thailand has the most fast and reliable wifi but also in Bali it works well enough to not really have problems :) I'd not recommend Philippines tho as on the islands the wifi might be a problem for lots of meetings. Hope you get to try couple of places and find one you love😊🙏🏽

When i go to thailand we normally eat in what we Call “ the hold in the Wall “” very good thaifood , very Local Never Got sick. It look like you go more to modern cafe ( except nightmarked) did they not have very local small family places in this area?

Just used the visa on arrival and then extended in the immigration for the second month :)
Just to let you know, some of those prices you are paying are more than double what you can pay for in the Pattaya area!

Never got sick there!

What I can say that I have spent 3 months there and not once someone asked for my licence
Do you think Siargao is comparable to Ko Phangan? Can Siargao be the next Ko Phangan?
It's quite different! I love both places. Siargao is smaller and there's surfing, that's the biggest difference. It's also more spiritual here in Koh Phangan and of course two different countries, so different culture!
I've only experienced Siargao so far and I loved it. I will try checking out Ko Phangan as well@@JooseTheNomad

You overpaid bro. All islands that foreigners know by name are overcharged. In south Phuket, I paid $400/mo for a studio apartment, $85/mo for motorbike, $28/mo for a gym during low season
Nope, I didnt overpay :) I got what I paid for. Of course I could go to a place where I stay under $500/month during low season but I don't want to do that😄
