Chain whine, motor whine, wind roar. It's still there, just not accompanied by exhaust sound. Honestly I don't know what people expect when the test e-bikes. I guess people don't get around much, riding all kinds of motorcycles and machines. It's impossible to get over the lack of range and the usual high cost. Sure I wouldn't mind a Zero SR or something similar, but it's never going to be a primary bike and it's stupid expensive to be a second bike. The sort of distance I want makes it impossible to be fit for that sort of riding. Would be very cool to be silent cruising through a distant wooded area in the prairie, cruising the hills under the sun, observing things otherwise drowned by engine noise. But, to get there, I'd need to take a giant solar panel and sleeping bag along.

Cal Moto thanks for replying & welcome back , always enjoying your test rides. Those electric bikes will have so much potential once the battery longevity is scientifically sorted.
you have no idea ..!!!! how seasick these bikes can make you from constanly jumping from 0 to 100kph and back .. and stealth people will see you but dont hear you .. they are not calling the police and you can do all stuff wich was out of question .. !!!! its my horse 2.0.. i ll say ..
OR...........or, you could consider viewers are the reason you uploaded a video. Or you could consider that with easy adjustment, it would be easy to eliminate the huffing in the mic.
A little trick about disc brakes that everybody who isn't "the fuck" a sophomoric beginner in life knows... you gradually slightly release the brakes just before you come completely to stop so you don't get a forks, gooseneck stressing pogo effect. That's really bad for the forks after like 5000 times ya thunk? Sort of looks like you're crashing into the brick wall of the limit line at the red light which was red all day Tuesday before you got there? Hyulk.

The elephant in the room is of course the Zero FXS. How does it compare? Zero is much cheaper, and is on the road for a couple more years. I own one!

You mention the dirt version is 12 grand, however they're also advertised at 15k just like the SM. Are you sure about this?
