Would like to know expectations around the DC powered Air conditioner. A basis would be fine. Possible condition could be 95% battery charge availability, 95 deg OAT, 85 deg inside temp at the dinette, 69% humidity, run time to cool dinette area to ~72 deg and available run time on DC power to sustain. Just an example, but I think a use case that the folks in the NE would be interested in. Perhaps the AS engineers could runs a few scenarios to provide consumer’s a general sense. Overall, I think this configuration is a ‘banger’.
I don’t think it will. Airstream’s philosophy from the beginning is to experience the great outdoors. That’s why it has so many big windows. That’s supposed to be your entertainment.
Do air streams have a conductive barrier to prevent heat transfer from the alumunum framing to the inside skin? Seems like other campers have told me they enjoyed their airstreams, but campers like the Bigfoot performed much better in hot and cold environments
The exact temperature that a 15,000 BTU air conditioner can achieve in a given space during extreme heat conditions is difficult to predict, as it depends on a variety of factors including: Size of the Space: A 15,000 BTU air conditioner is suitable for a space of about 700 to 1,000 square feet. If the space is larger, the air conditioner will have difficulty cooling it to the desired temperature. Insulation and Sun Exposure: The insulation and sun exposure of the space will affect how well the air conditioner can maintain the temperature. Poor insulation or high sun exposure will make it harder for the air conditioner to cool the space. Indoor Heat Sources: The presence of indoor heat sources, such as appliances and lighting, will also affect the temperature that the air conditioner can achieve. Maintenance and Condition of the Unit: The maintenance and overall condition of the air conditioner will affect its performance. A well-maintained unit in good condition will be more efficient than a neglected unit in poor condition. In general, air conditioners are designed to maintain a temperature difference of about 20°F to 30°F between the indoor and outdoor temperatures. So, in a situation where the outdoor temperature is 100°F, a well-functioning 15,000 BTU air conditioner in a suitable space with good insulation and no significant indoor heat sources might be able to cool the space to around 70°F to 80°F. However, this is a rough estimate and actual results may vary.
For a trailer at this cost, you'd think it would have electric stabilizer jacks and a electric awning. I could live with the manual stab jacks, but the manual awning is a deal breaker. Ill stick with my Rockwood.
Airstreams are now falling apart . Poor workmanship. Poor finishing. For an unaffordable price . This dealership last visited was as quiet as a graveyard. 😒
Airstream doesn’t get it, the airstream looks old already. People are into to clean lines and modern. That’s why the airstream yacht is so popular. It’s sad they don’t get it.
That hatch is awesome….. with my luck I’d get rear ended first time out
Love ya brother. Thanks.
Getting ready to see America 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Did they reply to you?
No, not yet. In general, I think you’ll get about 3 to 6 hours run time on the AC depending on conditions.
@@rla510yea the battery goes fast with the AC… we only run ours when plugged in.
How is the shower waist tank dose it last a few days before needs to darned out can Starlink be easy added in
When will Airstream wake up and add theatre seating with a larger TV?
I don’t think it will. Airstream’s philosophy from the beginning is to experience the great outdoors. That’s why it has so many big windows. That’s supposed to be your entertainment.
Just stay home!
Camping.

No discussion of the Composting toilet? Its a game changer, why not discuss it?
That would be very good option!
It’s not standard
Wish the new door handle would be compatible to retrofit the old design.
Is a 15k btu enough to cool down a 25’ during a Texas summer?
No

Do they make a.curved solar panel?
Well I’ll take it!!
Is there a twin bed version?

And in 50 years, the Airstream will still be in one piece...Everything else is crap..
Trade Wind 25 FB Price? How much?
Where are the inverter and the batteries located? Which inverter and which batteries?
Under the sofa. They show it at the beginning and also when she keeps pointing to the sofa when she talks about the power.
2024 Price?
Love it 👍🏻👍🏻
The custom Aluminum Rear Hatch with Sliding Screen is a $7,500 dollar option LOL. With that option, the trailer MSRP is a tad over 140K.
Ridiculous, go with an Outdoors 4 season RV, better build & quality with slide out too ! 🤛
Wow. Think I will buy a cabin
@@bobmariano3731 I’ll take this instead. That fiberglass RV won’t last half as long and it’s resale value is much less.
Where exactly are the batteries?
Under the couch.
I really wish someone would tell us if Mike is coming back. He's got fans and we've been left hanging. Is he ok?

The solar panel cords running all over the top just look like an afterthought. Just grabbed some clips and screwed ‘em down. Disappointing.
Lithium batteries. Is that like sitting on a time bomb?
Not a huge risk of battery fire, especially since this camper is built in Ohio and not in Elkhart, IN.
Y’all copied my system
Young lady what are you wearing
A shirt and cowboy boots! Seriously?
Interior is so ugly though.

They're still out dated and over priced
Nice. But too small. I'm a bit claustrophobic and my anxieties were building watching this video.
