This was the review i was looking for. “How to operate an Airstream”! This guy is amazing at explaining what not to do and still shows the trailer perfecly!
For the money it should have a power awning. Also I think all airstreams should come with those type of latches so everything doesn’t go flying open as you are driving down the road. Also why don’t they load all the models with the same solar and boondocking capabilities?
I'm just going to say it... I'm sure he's looking at the max tire pressure being 80psi. There's NO reason EVER to run your tires at that high of an air pressure. Besides the fact of the trailer bouncing like an overinflated basketball behind you, while throwing everything in the trailer to soup. 45-55psi is more than adequate.
Nice presentation, but at this price point, with no power awning or power stabilizer jacks its a deal breaker. Especially the awning. Also with minimum outside storage. I'll stick with my Rockwood.
Absence of power awning is one thing, but manually operated levelers is a total failure. 30 amp power is a complete joke. This means that two air con units are out of the question. Sweating through the night in your technical wonder because it is not set up for two units disqualifies this model. I imagine Airstream is trying to keep the price down by eliminating some standard equipment. All it does is make me angry that Airstream is pulling a bait and switch. Even with all the solar equipment on the unit, I think a customer is better off buying an equivalent price but larger Airstream, and then hiring one of the more than capable solar installers. Many have shows on TH-cam and are more than willing to give a prospective customer a free estimate. Airstream's behavior is just the kind of swindle that makes people leery of the RV industry; it hurts every manufacturer.
“Don’t forget to slide off the outside storage compartment light when done storing your items.” Proceeds to leave the outside storage compartment light on 😐

This guy knows his Airstream trailers like no other dealer.
This is drill sergeant airstream ! He knows his stuff and is right to the point :)
Just not the tires it's using....
This was the most thorough video we have ever seen. Thank you! 😊
Chris is the best. He knows every inch of all the Airstreams, which are made in my home state of O-H-i-O
Great to see you again Chris, and outstanding tour of the new AS!
This was super helpful for proper technique on how to care for the airstream regularly.
Awesome presentation! Love the trailer.
Wait! How’d I miss this???? Chris is back?!?!?!? The man!
Excelent job!
Superb! TFS
This is the Rear Hatch Airstream Trade Wind, 25ft FB with Twin Beds I just Ordered ❤
Waiting for an Airstream with an electric assisted drive train. Large LFP batteries are the way of the future. Hope Airstream gets going on this😊

I prefer the manual awning. Aside from operator stupidity, it'll never break or fail. I'll take that over motor/circuit board problems any day.
@@mikerees9158 You are probably right. Cheers.
I want to see someone make thd twin beds!
It’s a cool trailer but only one tiny exterior storage? Come on airstream.
80psi? What's the tire's max pressure? And what ply are they?

And other than my little ramble, excellent video and even better coach

This trailer has no storage. Our 25ft has 3 small and I large at rear of trailer.
ORANGE? We are not living in the 60's
you spend more time on the outside and the gadgets than you do on what I want to see and that's the INSIDE of the RV
You didn’t even bother to show the bedroom just the closet in the TV… Nice job
