Yeah I also have the Frankfurt on my ’99 C2 and fully agree with you that it’s as close to period correct as it gets. Plus, what you seldom get with aftermarket head units is amber on black text and numbers 👌🏻
Absolutely, they nailed it with this one. I have the Bremen as well in my other car but that one is more 80s looking, the Frankfurt looks so much at home in the 996.
Thanks, I have seen a couple of turbos out and about, what colour is yours? I'll look out for you. I won't be using mine much this winter though as I found out the hard way the rear end is way too twitchy so I'm sending it away for some more work and geometry setup.
It’s a silver convertible with metropole interior I’ve just put complete new front suspension on it & probably take it to porscha care in Stevenage for set up next year .
@@Philchater-g5u I'm sure I've seen that on the A1198 at least once. Are Porscha care any good? I'm using Rennworks at the moment and I've found them to be very good. You'll have to let me know if you need any Metropole blue paint, I've got quite a bit left 🙂
Yeah fitting was super easy, you have to cut a small bit of carpet out to accommodate a bit of the plastic that runs underneath the 3D printed part otherwise it doesn’t sit low enough to get the 2 nuts on, but other than that it’s spot on.

Renn works is the same place found them very good, yeah the seats need a little tlc but they’re not to bad .

I’m Considering a centre console delete in my 986 Boxter and was flummoxed by the price of the parts! Was fit and fitting ok of this option?
