Figured out that last V chord and I'm gonna try to explain this as best I can over text. So from the top string down it's very similar to what he has. Your pointer and middle finger are in the same spots, but your ring finger is going to go on the 7th fret of the 4th string and your pinky right beneath that on the 7th fret of the 5th string (going down DADGAD). Play strings 1 and 5 together, then 1, 3, 1, 4, 1, 3. Next, remove your ring finger from the 7th fret so that your pointer finger on the 6th fret is clear, then play 1 and 4 together, and repeat 1, 3, 1, 4 (7th fret again), 1, 3. Before you play the 1 and 4 (6th fret) again, that's the point that you go into the sliding bit. I also want to add the continuation of the sliding part. So after you hammer off and then play the 5 string 7th fret, then play the open 2 string and 5 string 7th fret together. On the 5th string, slide from the 7th to the 9th fret, place your index finger on the 6th string 7th fret, pick and pull off, then play the 5th string 9th fret again. Then slide back down to the IV or G chord and play through. When going to move to the I or D chord, instead play the open 1st string and the 6th string 4th fret together, slide from the 4th to the 7th, then pick 6th string 9th fret, then pick the 7th fret again. Lastly, go back to the V or A chord. Hope this helps!
Great tutorial mate! I've been trying to learn this song for years and this is the closest I've gotten, thank you! I think that the V chord on the main picking part of the intro is off and I'm over here trying to figure it out, but just wanted to say something in case you wanted to plug away at it again too.
been learning this song using normal tuning on the 3rd fret. but damn it sounds so much better higher up the fretboard, scratching what i’ve learnt right away
This is absolutely perfect and much better than any tabs I could find, thank you so much for this🙏🏼
This is brilliant please continue making tutorials, Ill share this on❤️
