Just stumbled upon this channel. Great to see 6th edition alive wherever you are. Not sure if you're waiting for any of this, but I would personally love to see more of your games and not just the end of turn reports. The beauty of the game, and battle reports, is in living those 'oh no my general missed all his attacks and now my chosen chaos knights are failing their Ld10 break test' moments
@tjeerdates9030 we may do some longer form videos at some point. At the moment this has been a happy medium of being fairly easy to edit and keep snappy. Raw 3 hour games can be a bit difficult on the attention span and I'm slow at editing, so getting rid of all the dead air and deliberating takes longer than I have at the moment. Glad you've enjoyed what's on the channel so far though!
@@Mercenaryminaturepainter I like these shorter form videos much better than the 1+ hour battle reports you also see on TH-cam. They tend to show too much dice rolling and not enough of the big picture. At most I'd go from end-of-turn to end-of-phase recaps. That might build more tension than the 'X charged Y and you can see how that went' that you can get with end-of-turn recaps, come to think of it. It might also be interesting to hear about your battle plans before the game, although I can see how that might get tricky with your opponent having to move to another room while you divulge your plans.
@Ed-xo9pc we'll sort something soon hopefully. Maybe there is a gaming venue between you, Matt me and John that means we don't all have to travel too far and make a day of it. Maybe chuck in a doubles game too
Great report! Really back and forth, can't deny, I love it when the bonus points swing it which really makes objective based games worthwhile imho. Only question and it's not a rules one, although it transpired that your Gorger whiffed with his attacks when he charged against the Lord on Carnosaur, were you not tempted to attached the Lord and hope for a killing blow?
Kill the carnosaur with one wound left then you auto break the oldblood with fear and outnumber was my theory. But ye I was tempted I did think he would have a ward save though so that's what put me off.
@warhammerresurrection.1995 ye even though he was hero in the end all the attacks from the bruiser and iron guts done bugger all on the charge, I was hoping they would get the job done then. On the scenario I now think this one is becoming my favourite over take and hold. I like the 18 inch deployment it makes for a faster start to the game.
@warhammerresurrection.1995 no mate send me it over ill definatly give it ago. One of mine for Christmas is an adaption of capture with a fun twist that should hopefully be good.
Really enjoyed that game. I think my bruiser will be taking up the roll of tyrant from now on, the cowardly tyrant lost a wound before the game lost a wound to a salamander with 3 saves then ran and never came back haha shameful.

@@jonsage3675 I'm working on a couple more 'new' scenarios and tweaking those in my Resurrection pack that don't get used. Have you tried Attrition?

@jonsage3675 yeah that Bruiser is definitely going to challenge him for leadership when he gets home. Tyrant is getting eaten for sure.
