I've own a 2003 CL55 AMG and I love it. It really is an amazing car that I really enjoy driving. You don't hear much about them anymore, but these were legit 500 hp cars that were built like a tank and loaded with luxury. It made a legitimate fan of AMG out of me!

My ultimate Mercedes-Benz dream garage collection will have all the legendary classics like the Hammer along side many of today's AMG and Benz cars. A beautiful image in my mind. Hopefully it can become a reality...even in part.

I love my C55, she only has 10500 Kms and basically as new from the factory, some would say not yet run in. I want to keep the kms low but I just love driving her! What to do?
That CLK DTM Shooting Brake drawing is gorgeous! Did anyone pitch the idea to Mercedes at the time lol? I actually own a 2005 AMG CLK 55 Avantgarde in Brilliant Silver Metallic with the AMG Sport Pkg., Quad exhaust, Big Brake kit and 183k miles on her still running like brand new. M113 N/A and I'm trying to restore her while keeping her as stock as possible. These CLK AMG's are special cars. This is a 2005 but the Delivery Date says 08/24/2004 so this is one of the last AMG's built before Mercedes completely took ownership in 2005 if I remember correctly. Thank you AMG and Mercedes-Benz for creating such magnificent vehicles! P.S. Reiner Laukemann, if you are still around thanks for building my engine! She's still purring like a kitten.
