I watched a video that used a covered wire like off bread or gifts to hold it together in the middle then just pulled it out when finished. I would do this because I don't like cutting off extra string I might need later. Also I'm a visual learner to and loved how you explained everything.

Do you know what the video you found for the pink and blue bracelet?

I wanted to make this pattern so bad, but always end up getting confused and stop, until one day I got it, but I started doing it a little bit different, after moving the middle string to where you suppose to put it, i immediately move the other one behind that way I only rotate the disc once not twice, but that’s me that was the only way for me not to get confused, the girl that you are referring to is kumimari, she also makes the houndstooth pattern by moving the strands the same way, you will only need two different colors, 8 strands ( or 4 if you don’t want to cut them in half ) of one color and another 8 ( or 4 ) of a different color, the positions will be, 31,32,3,4,15,16,19 and 20 for the first color of your choice and for the second color will be 7,8,11,12,23,24,27 and 28 then start moving the strands exactly the same way as on this tutorial and you will see your houndstooth pattern showing.

Could you use regular 4 ply yarn for bracelet?

Yes you can use anything fiber you want. It will make a difference in the thickness of the tube you are creating. So try it out and see what happens. Enjoy!!

What a cute pattern 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤! It took forever with my teeny, waxed threads. But 8 inches really shows the continuity of this pattern and you're right! It's just 🥰 cute.

Thanks! My sister wears black and white hounds tooth check a lot. I'll do this with black and white and red as the accent color. It'll be perfect for her! Thanks again.

Awesome. If you want to keep it neutral you could also use a gray as the accent color. Have fun playing.!!

I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for sharing. My looms just arrived today. So excited! If I had a suggestion, it would be that it might be better, for d3emo purposes, to stay away from white on the white board. I was able to follow though, and loved the pattern.

You have inches in the description but you keep saying centimeters in the video. It looks like you meant inches?

Kumihimo is the correct name of the technique

That is correct! 😂 And its what she talks about AT LENGTH on this top-notch video. She's teaching you OTHER WORDS as well. Take notes. She's pretty good.

You can buy findings for the end at any major beading store like Potomac beads or you can make your own like I show you at 22:12 on the video. Good luck
