It's like Modern Warfare 2019 was made in the future, and then they tried their hardest to destroy everything they did right, and then bring the game as close to MW2019 as possible. It's just mindblowing.

To this day I say modern warfare 2019 season 6 right before Cold War integration was the best warzone they ever had. Everything was viable there was no forced metas at this time. the only weapon that was strong was the Kilo 141. All they had to do was add ziplines to certain buildings, and adjust lighting within the buildings then it would have been perfect.

When i think of peak warzone I think of kilo mp5 or grau and snakeshots. Downhill since then

Mw19 is just crisp, the balance between realism and game. The sounds, hitmarkers, interaction, loot mechanics, flower loot, aiming. Everything is just better than currnent warzone. Omni movement needs to the same for wz as well. On bo6 it feels different
It's messy, I feel like I am just constantly diving for no reason and cannot mantle anything properly
I really hope the devs see this video it's probably one of the best pieces of feedback about the current game
Some devs could see it, but the final decisions come from creative directors and upper management where anything would be shutdown quick, most of the time out of ego and pride. I work in the IT industry and that type of management is common.
they are gonna see it trust me. they watch everything people say about theier game. even from jgods video now people are making shortcut clips and posting it on twitter mostly. and im sure they are seeing it espacially matt scronce one of the main devs at treyarch. he even spoke about the clip that we saw in the first minute of jgod's video.
5 year old game looks better than the current one. Really miss MW2019

Might have something to do with it being an older version of the engine? It’s based on infinity wards engine and they always use the latest version with there games but I don’t think that’s what BLOPS 6 is on
@@mvolkaertThe new consoles weren’t released until 2020 and they never made a next gen version of the game. MW2019 didn’t have to release the game on older consoles.
Love MW19 it’s still being analyzed to this day will forever have a special place in my heart SnD was something else💪
Riot shield and the 2 shot shotgun was my prime in cod bahahah I smoked kids for days with that class on warzone and snd made lots of friends as well as had lots of people that hated me for the riot shield but game was my favorite so far since og mw3
I’ll keep saying this, as long as we’re stuck with MWII / COD HQ engine, we’ll never get a good cod like mw 2019 again
They are the same engine though. It's just the way it was implemented.

@@Merkaba954 MW19 & WZ1 is IW8, with Vanguard MP being a branch of that engine. Cold War MP was built on a much older Treyarch engine (bo3 i think) due to the complications of that year's cod development. MW2/COD HQ + every version of WZ since is built on IW9 (aka the unified COD engine) which introduced a whole host of problems... forced anti-aliasing, aggressive weapon bobbing and reticle sway/shift, unnecessary visual recoil and muzzle smoke, etc etc. basically everything JGOD pointed out. the unified COD engine has been an objective failure.
You are absolutely correct. This whole current engine is just off no matter what they do on it it doesn’t feel right
imagine devs just stopped pushing their vision and instead listened to community collectively agreeing and literally pointing out what should be changed
Mw19 was great on mnk. Absolutely love and miss it.

The main difference between recoil in MW2019 and BO6 is your bullets actually hit the enemy in MW2019.
We need mw2019 mechanics back for warzone and for them to never change. Please can everyone get behind this 😂
MW2019 clears bo6. 19 had the best movement. Snappy and fluid
mw19 movement was amazing in wz but bo6 movement is better for mp in my opinion

@@felonies1600 absolutely NOT. Omni is awful and doesn’t belong in FPS. I can see it working in a 3rd person mode but it’s awful and clunky. Too many penalty delays. I’ve tried everything settings I can imagine to make it more fluid and it’s just not it. I can’t even get myself to play Mp and reach max level

I strongly prefer the visuals of MW2019 over BO6 too. Obviously BO6 has more detail, but I like the clarity that the MW series gave us
Black Ops always looks like a cartoon IMO.
Warzone should be its own game, it an evolving BR. It shouldn’t be treated the same as the yearly Cod money grab. They reset all the problems we already had and fixed.
Warzone helps promote users to play multiplayer (and/or Zombies). I agree but they kinda spoke on this. We are more likely to play all game modes with WZ integrated in. It would probably do better since it’s free, if it were to be a dedicated client

bro this man, I NEVER complained about MnK vs AA in Warzone 2020. Its miserable now on MnK, you are blind 50% of the time in a gun fight

honestly, ditch the mouse at this point. I have been a high skill (several #1 ranked AIM labs and Kovaaks scores) for years, i said F it and bought a controller and its the only way I can fry in BO6.
aim assist was still crazy but yeah mnk at least felt good to play, only issue was dark areas
This is my biggest issue aswell. Reduce or even remove all the bs sway and visual clutter and gunplay will feel so much better on MnK

Exactly, like adding the Cold War and vanguard weapons made it so exciting. It didn’t negatively impact the game, it just added variety. Once they reset it and removed warzone 1 all that seemed pointless and lost all its nostalgia.
Unfortunately it’s all to do with money, so people will purchase the new cods to rank up their guns for warzone. What they don’t seem to realise is is that reviving the OG warzone would dramatically increase their player base. Bring back original warzone with Verdansk/Rebirth Island, integrate the new weapons/skins, problem solved.
In MW2019 you could make dedicated hipfire builds. Now we have less hipfire attachments and the wobbly crosshair making it more difficult than ever
Same goes for max recoil classes and zero recoil classes. There just aren't as many attachments in each slot to maximize a spefiifc stat. So much of the fun in class making is gone because of that
I've been watching you for a while and thing I've missed relating to that is the sandbox in customization. MW19's gunsmith made every attachment feel incredibly to one another with many of them being gun specific attachments. It also made for great content creation as well like making the tiniest SCAR or just slapping an oil can suppressor on cause you can and being goofy is fun. I feel a lot of that is lost in the newer CoDs with so many attachments for each gun that nothing feels unique and makes for no experimentation or fun in making guns, plus goofy builds would never be viable AT ALL.
Oh man, the good old Warzone MW2019, this game was so ahead of its time. I quit Warzone after Caldera but would definitely come back if they bring back this version of Warzone.

I miss Mw2019 and it‘s warzone version. It was just PEAK.
Remove redeploy balloons/drones to force use of vehicles. Of course it feels nice to rotate fast with drones, but the fun sandbox moments are gone. Also make vehicles explode with one shot of launchers. Launcher loadout would be viable. Not much beats taking out a full squad with one rocket.
Also, don't matchmake KBM against higher KD players just because of input. Especially when controller probably has the advantage anyway. Jackfrags made a video about this in WZ1, and it's still the same.

You're exactly right! Each of the games from 2019 and onwards had different strengths. And when Activision tries to improve upon the previous game, they always manage to remove things universally loved by the player base.
I miss the old cod. mostly because people just played the game.

The last good COD was 2019. It’s the whole reason why Warzone was a success. It’s been down hill ever since. BO6 is the worst COD for a long time and it’s plagued Warzone now. I don’t know how they fix this tbh.

WZ1 movement was just smooth as butter 🧈. After practicing for a while it felt so crisp. They ruined with Warzone 2. Feels terrible now.

I think the mechanics of 2019 made you feel like you had the most direct control of your character. The game reacts to your inputs quickly and crisply without making you wait for any kind of movement penalty. So you always felt like whatever happened was not a frustrating feature of the game but completely your own doing.
Edit : this also has to do with the clarity of what is on screen - you can perfectly see what has happened and why
Honestly, after playing bo6 now for a month or so, I'd love to see this comparison between bo6 & MWII/WZ2. Because I swear it feels like they just added "omni-movement" to MWII (2022) and just sped everything up a little.

Mw 19 warzone engine and all needs to come back this new warzone and integration, is the worst all this trying to make it all realistic makes the game unplayable for consoles due to fps drop and spots around the map or big fights where you noticed you drop fps it’s crazy

They really need to fix these inconsistent mechanics. Having a fast omnimovement and fast-paced game with random smaller mechanics doing the opposite makes it feel clunky and inconsistent, it is so confusing for us players... They just need to get game that is fast-paced and has a consistent fast-movement across all mechanic, simple to understand for us.

I think wz needs a hard restart. There’s too many guns n if you buy skins n expect to have em for ever you are setting expectations too high.
