I know some folks are getting frustrated but he said he now plays by feel so he doesn't know what he's gonna do he just moves that's why he never does the same thing twice. Some of us just got to appreciate this level until we get there. At least I'm inspired.
this is the first I see such very great talent and mind-blowing technique of his playing, and I decide to become a fan of him! Such a great talent man!
My Lord ! Please, help me to play in such a level of fluency ! I know I am still a beginner but I am working harf for it ! Bless my brother or sister who also works hard to improve for your glory ! Amen !
@@searching4pawgs495, there are many 'super beasts' out there, BUT... not all of them can tell you the chords they're playing. Not all understand "Music Theory". Not all can read. They're just gifted super beasts. Q is a cut above because he understands what he is doing... Trust this: QUENNELL GASKIN is in a class above 'super beasts' with very few peers!
@@kelvikelv5322 There are plenty of guys who are exceptional that can do just that. I attended a small HBCU, and there were three guys there that majored in music, and were extremely skilled. They studied classical, two played jazz, but all had roots in the church and continued to play there. That's just a few dudes I know, and they are every bit as skilled as Quennel.
Maybe so@@searching4pawgs495. I would trust seeing it for myself. So many sound good, but their runs are not clean... But, I know God didn't break the mold after making Quennell. There are many other prodigies out there.
@@kelvikelv5322 Man, no offense, but it's a big world out there. I'd argue that most of the world class musicians don't easily accessible content to search online. I know a guy from Baltimore who is AMAZING. Like SERIOUSLY NEXT LEVEL, but looking him up online will yield no results. I know, 'cause I've looked myself. He don't even have a FB. This is not to sleight Quennel, but I've seen too much to call ANYBODY the best. Even the person who I consider the best probably can be outdone by somebody I don't know.
I think you can simply start with scales and the most basic arpeggios, such as the C chord (C,E,G) over many octaves, as he explained in part#3. He probably started here. God bless, Christ is our Lord.
I accidentally hit the speed up in the playback feature and all I have to say is at 1.25x instead of normal playback makes this so much more insane. How clean and accurate his playing is stands out.. crazy 🤦🏾♂️
I think musician have gotten bogged down with the technical aspects of music and not just letting it all go and FEEL what you play and play what you Feel....most important take away....Their are levels we have yet to tap and it gonna take leaving self behind and delving into the Spirit with both feet.... Truly Amazing and God gets the glory! Amen?
3 People I want to see Q in session with: 1. Joey DeFrancesca (B3), 2. Glenn Gibson (traditional & contemporary Gospel) 3. Justin Lee Schultz (free style side-by-side)
Update@@boreed5734: 1. Joey Defrancesca died almost a year ago. 2. There are sessions with Q and Glenn on YT and 3. I've yet to see Quennel and Justin together.
I really wish he hadn't sat there and interrupted the flow 🤦🏽♂️. C'mon man! You could've made adjustments before he started playing. Great Job as always Q!!!

Even as a very experienced keyboardist this is really blessing me. Love all of it. Thanks for sharing.
The USA has so many talented black musicians ...this dude is amazing
In gospel piano chops, there is Quennel gaskin and the rest, his technique is off the chart. His improvisation is top notch
That’s a professional. Goes with the flow on the tempo and kills anyway.

thanks both of you!!!! changing my life. what a blessing having this kind of information available to someone who didn't grew up with this stuff.
Amazing talent! To God be the glory alone! May God bless you brother Gaskin!
I never seen a guy play like this... what jaw-dropping skills!

Ok, Just keep on playing.. and I'm still here enjoying your talent. Just Awesome !
Best modern day gospel musician in the 2010's & 20's hands down
That's a hard thing to say. I will say that he is a VERY elite class of musician, but there are some super beasts out there, man.
