Big WWE fan here. Thought I’d answer that last question. I think it’s important to have AEW around as competition will always motivate WWE to try their hardest. Also it’s nice to know that wrestlers have a place to go outside of WWE that will still pay them very well. AEW is important because of the jobs it provides in the wrestling industry and because its existence motivates WWE to constantly try and put out the best possible product.
The thing is that AEW is doing so bad that I don't think WWE considers them competition. Even if they do consider them that, they see them as competition for NXT. That doesn't affect the main shows. AEW is only good for the wrestlers because they can make a lot of money outside of WWE.
@pkj2148 yes sadly they're not in the conversation, they had some pretty good momentum in the beginning, but then it just sort of fell off, i feel like they think, as long as they take Some of the best indie wrestling has before they get to fully develop, they can be in second place and be ok with the product they have.
@@JeremiahWhitethomas It's Tony Khan's fault. Not focusing enough on story. He has already booked Ricochet Vs Ospreay in a throwaway show when that is a match AEW fans want to see. I don't think WWE even consider AEW as competition. They are 2010's TNA level of mess. No one takes them seriously You are right about the opportunity thry have been given though
I never saw that "step back" tweet. Thats insane for a wrestler to say something like that. Every guy that goes to that company ends up shooting themselves in the foot, its like there's black magic involved, which wouldn't surprise me considering the money and influence
Disagree. Ricochet's athleticism & passion drive his success. Undermining his achievements by implying he'll thrive only in a company that stifled his potential is unfair & misguided. Fame doesn’t justify disrespect, especially in a sport they consider their art form. The original tweet was blatantly backhanded, discrediting the work his current brand has invested in over the years. Yet claims to be one of his fans, not cool.
Brand loyalty shouldn't dictate disrespect towards talent. Ricochet's move is a chance for growth, and both AEW and WWE boast incredible talent. Instead of tribalism, let's celebrate the athleticism, passion, and artistry on display. Both promotions are crushing it with unforgettable performances.
Reality hit Ricochet that hes going to get lost in the shuffle even more in AEW and hes getting salty about it. Hes gonna regret moving there. This is better than any of his promos hes ever done 😂
😂 what promos? A wet napkin, a plastic bag and box full of Crayons can deliver a more meaningful promo. A flippy dude such as Richochet needs a mouthpiece like MVP...
That gimmick idea would have been funny. Like, he goes up to some jabronis like top flight and tells them that they can't use X move anymore because it's Ricochets move now.
Idk if this happens when u have a contract with Tony Khan , you just act the same way he was , the only thing missing is him saying watch AEW Dynamite tonight at 7pm on tbs
Ricochet showing off his lolcow behavior he turned into a bigger lolcow than Adam Copeland. I wish I was an Kiwi Farms admin to make a page dedicated to Ricochet
Social media has to be one of the worst things to ever happen to prowrestling. Embarrassing. Anyway, the midcard spotmonkey is just going to spend the next 5 years in obscurity, once Tony gets tired of playing with his latest action figure. And you know what, I don't care. He's right where he belongs. Despite all the hype he had coming off LU, he never delivered. No personality.
Yep. These guys are performers, not creators. Lucha Underground was formatted like typical narrative TV. Someone wrote that character on that show for Ricochet. He clearly couldn't come up with anything good on his own.
He'll make a lot of money at least. And he still has the match against Ospreay that would be big for AEW. After that match though, he will probably flounder.
I've said it once I will say it again, charisma is what creates stars nowadays, always have but in this day and age a whole lot more. You could say Ricochet is special but there's like 6 other guys who move like him, but only a few can talk and get people to care about them. And the thing about WWE is that as much as they wanted to keep Ricochet and other talent, it's so stacked and so many people coming in there's not much space left, in the end they have to make the hard decision to keep the talent that's making them the most money. Which is charismatic superstars.
Wowwwww he seethed on it for a month Its super super obvious that hes insecure about the decision. His response to the lady and the guy that stood up for her was SO IMMATURE Thats some weird shit. Great vid 👍
Winning a title isn't an accomplishment. He didn't win anything. Creative decided he was going to be a champion so he was given a title. Winning these titles aren't actual athletic accomplishments, they're promotions. Like from a fry cook to a supervisor. Actual accomplishments in the WWE are selling merch and selling tickets. The most memorable moment of Ricochet's career was the spot in the rumble with Logan Paul and I was more impressed with Logan, being the newbie. Sadly for Ricochet, once you take away kayfabe it becomes apparent he did practically nothing in WWE.
With all honesty I didn't really expect this from ricochet, I never watched his indie work and when he was in WWE I always thought meh he can probably put a good main event but not much of a world champion, now that all this has happened I genuinely never expected this from him, also this is the first time I've seen your channel, thx bro
"thanks, and you should give a try on the show, or just my matches, i promise you it'll be good" there, is that really hard of an answer to tweet back what you wanted them to do, without sounding like a goober? and if they tweeted back and still say something to the equivalent of "no", just shut up, you said your piece, they said theirs, no need for further discussions
Ricoche has cold sweat dripping down his face and neck because he knows he f-up and with people not moving from WWE to watch him, his destiny is lower mid-card on Collision once Tony gets bored of him.
Bruh can't even get a personality on twitter.... the easiest place on planet earth to display a personality lol. Ricochet has the charisma of a piece of paper.
Crazy how people really think the ammount of followers you have on twitter means anything in relation to success or the real world in general. Dude was ass in WWE and now hes ass in AEW except now he has less visibility. Hes a mark through and through.
It always seems the person behind the wrestler character they play is the exact opposite. Guys who are well known for their works as heels seem to be really nice and humble dudes. Like Kevin Owens. He's extremely nice to his fans and is always having fun talking to and joking around with them. But then babyfaces such Ricochet and ADH have massive egos and will lash out at their fans over the most insignificant bs.
Always found Ricochet okay at best, just another flippy guy and nothing more. He's the type of guy you could put the IC or US title on, put in a tag team and maybe put the belts on, but not the type of guy to put the world title on and not the type of guy you could revolve a show around, kinda like Cesaro
Those fans, and the wrestlers, think it's okay to bash WWE because they feel it's a heartless corporation. You're not allowed to criticize AEW because the wrestlers think it's an artistic extension of themselves because of their "creative freedom" and the fans have made it their entire personality. AEW fans tend to hold the company to different standards compared to WWE. Many want AEW to thrive and view it as both a competitor and not a competitor, depending on AEW's successes or WWE's achievements. Their connection to AEW is often deeply personal, leading them to perceive any criticism of the company as an attack on themselves.
and then that creative freedom turns out to be Tony Khan allowing them to do stupid shit that WWE was smart enough to not let them to do, like Edge breaking his leg on that cage
The highlight vs full match thing actually bothers me so much the more that I think about it, like people have limited time in life and as a performer you should be somewhat flattered that someone spends even a few seconds of their lives watching you perform, especially with how many options for entertainment are at people’s fingertips at all times, they could watch anything they want and they are choosing to spend a little bit of their day giving you their undivided attention
Samantha needs to drop this bozo she is a successful woman and he is a guy who lost every vassal of his feud with Logan Paul including in ring, promos, fan reactions, and backstage reception.

E! W has given them that Mr. McMahon Has not done for them in WWE
Bro if I was that guy on twitter I would’ve told ricochet that he’s mildly successful in a sport where you make 250k a year to destroy your brain and your body and end up as a broke, broken down, mentally ill old man with no money just like 90% of wrestlers😂😂😂

While i hate the "any company that isn't WWE are the minor leagues" notion, it was still a bit of an overreaction on Ricochet's part, but oh well. I'd say this meltdown is almost as bad as Seth Rollin's Twitter meltdown against Will Ospreay.

AEW is great for the business only to get the wrestlers a fair cut of what they put their bodies through, but honestly I was one of them marks that loved Black & Gold. So I jumped into the AEW show for the first 2 years. I seen they didn’t bother growing any stars after that, they just started buying ex WWE guys. Thank you brother, glad to provide.
At this point hating AEW is just a dumb thing people think it's cool cause they can't accept the fact there are other wrestling companies besides WWE
Once you sign with AEW all professionalism is gone out the window
It just seems that the moment any wrestler moves to AEW, they become an over sensitive pussy who cant take any form of criticism.
@@Yifeng-rn4ovjust watch what you like who cares bro I watch wwe mostly but even I see the pointless AEW hate. ricochet will be successful wherever he goes tbh if he was in wwe still and getting targeted on x with hate messages he’d say the same thing lol ppl who think AEW all of a sudden corrupted ricochet or made ricochet defend himself on x are mental like come on bro lol
having a beautiful wife and an amazing salary and still insecure af 😂
@pkj2148 yes sadly they're not in the conversation, they had some pretty good momentum in the beginning, but then it just sort of fell off, i feel like they think, as long as they take
Some of the best indie wrestling has before they get to fully develop, they can be in second place and be ok with the product they have.
@@JeremiahWhitethomas It's Tony Khan's fault. Not focusing enough on story. He has already booked Ricochet Vs Ospreay in a throwaway show when that is a match AEW fans want to see. He could have built that feud up for months and have the match at a PPV. And he always does stuff like that. He has no patience.
I don't think WWE even consider AEW as competition. They are 2010's TNA level of mess. No one takes them seriously
You are right about the opportunity thry have been given though
I never saw that "step back" tweet. Thats insane for a wrestler to say something like that. Every guy that goes to that company ends up shooting themselves in the foot, its like there's black magic involved, which wouldn't surprise me considering the money and influence

pride + greed = cringe
@KVTVstudios I commented before I finished the video... wow... he's a massive douche
Disagree. Ricochet's athleticism & passion drive his success. Undermining his
achievements by implying he'll thrive only in a company that stifled his potential is unfair & misguided.
@gnarliii6853 one promotion is doing record numbers, while the other is floundering because they have a mark booker leading the charge.
The first thing I thought when I originally saw his tweets was "negative aura".

Have these guys always been such primadonnas and we just never knew it?
That gimmick idea would have been funny. Like, he goes up to some jabronis like top flight and tells them that they can't use X move anymore because it's Ricochets move now.
I also wish to see Ricochet doing promo like Juventud Guerrera did 😆
Idk if this happens when u have a contract with Tony Khan , you just act the same way he was , the only thing missing is him saying watch AEW Dynamite tonight at 7pm on tbs
Me going into the video: Ah Richochet s a good wrestler and doesn't seem so bad.
Me reading his tweet 40 seconds in: "Wow, what an asshole."
Ricochet showing off his lolcow behavior he turned into a bigger lolcow than Adam Copeland. I wish I was an Kiwi Farms admin to make a page dedicated to Ricochet
Imagine Ricochet have a match with DarkSydePhil (Also Buff Bagwell lookalike 😆) Boogie2988 and WingsofRedemption 😄
Crazy, his crescendo in AEW will be a match people have already seen with Ospreay in front of 1500 people.
He's only ever been good as prince puma, masked and silent.
Just found this channel in my recommended, and I'm glad I did. Great video!
I laughed my ass off finding out he started with a stranger on Twitter who was actually being respectful. Then I found out there were more. 😂
8:14 the ricochet voice killed me🤣🤣🤣 bro I’m crying tears rn
Yeah I think thats enough internet for today.
Wowwwww he seethed on it for a month
Its super super obvious that hes insecure about the decision.
His response to the lady and the guy that stood up for her was SO IMMATURE
Thats some weird shit. Great vid 👍
"Anything I've accomplished" he won what 1 title in wwe and it was a throw away title who the fuck is he 😂
He won the IC and U.S. belts on the main roster, but literally no one remembers lol
He was North American champ in NXT and on the main roster, he held the US and IC titles.
Don't forget he was also the first WWE Speed champion 🤣
@@Maven-g1o does Samantha count? 😂
Sadly for Ricochet, once you take away kayfabe it becomes apparent he did practically nothing in WWE.
ricochet is the same as every aew troll. over sensitive and gets on fights with random strangers in the internet because they dont know any better
With all honesty I didn't really expect this from ricochet, I never watched his indie work and when he was in WWE I always thought meh he can probably put a good main event but not much of a world champion, now that all this has happened I genuinely never expected this from him, also this is the first time I've seen your channel, thx bro
It’s the fever, the rage, the feeling of powerlessness….. that turns a good man…. Cruel
"thanks, and you should give a try on the show, or just my matches, i promise you it'll be good"
there, is that really hard of an answer to tweet back what you wanted them to do, without sounding like a goober?
and if they tweeted back and still say something to the equivalent of "no", just shut up, you said your piece, they said theirs, no need for further discussions
Ricochet could’ve taken some of his fans with him if he didn’t feel the need to pathetically defend himself on social media 🤦♂️
Ricoche has cold sweat dripping down his face and neck because he knows he f-up and with people not moving from WWE to watch him, his destiny is lower mid-card on Collision once Tony gets bored of him.
Dude sounds like a math/computing teacher on the mic.
Bruh can't even get a personality on twitter.... the easiest place on planet earth to display a personality lol. Ricochet has the charisma of a piece of paper.
“I am sorry that the people softer than you are the wrestlers you like. “CM punk.
Ricochet’s short-man complex is really coming through. Must suck being 5’3” (in high heels)
Maybe he's testing a new heel gimmick, I really hope so. Most of the time AEW just prove that WWE is right.
The more I hear about aew the more I think it's the place for adult children. I've tried watching aew a couple of times and just no
I’ve never been a fan of Ricochet! This is way more interesting and entertaining than AEW Dynamite!
0:37 Ricochet enter Vince Russo mode "Bro" 😆
Now i wanna troll him on Twitter so bad.
TK needs to spend some of his daddy's money and buy a PR team to go lock every AEW wrestlers X account and bot post generic positive AEW messages
I was indifferent towards him but after this, he's written off. The girl's tweet didn't have any malice yet he lost his mind.
Samantha needs to drop this bozo she is a successful woman and he is a guy who lost every vassal of his feud with Logan Paul including in ring, promos, fan reactions, and backstage reception.
Yea well Logan Paul isn't a better person either. He's a scammer.
Fuck Ricochet he Broke everyone's 💔 😤 no one will Watch any of his matches Except for his highlights on AEW He's not gonna change nothing in AEW And to answer your question, some kid with his dad mommy so his can own his wresting company to compete with WWE and looks what happened to It's not a wrestling company, it's a high school drama It's no wonder why people are choosing to leave and a lot of people are regretting joining them But there are a few people that do dissolve the push tha. E! W has given them that Mr. McMahon Has not done for them in WWE
Samantha Irvin didn't get married to bro for this. 😭
Bro if I was that guy on twitter I would’ve told ricochet that he’s mildly successful in a sport where you make 250k a year to destroy your brain and your body and end up as a broke, broken down, mentally ill old man with no money just like 90% of wrestlers😂😂😂
Ricochet constantly feeding his ego at this point.

The biggest marks are in the ring
While i hate the "any company that isn't WWE are the minor leagues" notion, it was still a bit of an overreaction on Ricochet's part, but oh well.
I'd say this meltdown is almost as bad as Seth Rollin's Twitter meltdown against Will Ospreay.
Ricochet is a joke

Such a great video definitely coming back for more!
I'm already laughing three minutes into this video. I've never seen this dude before, but he's good. Nice editing as well.
Ricochet has no charisma and no personality. At least with Will Ospreay he's actually trying.

This is not kino at all. He should be grateful people are at least checking out his highlights. Now his fiancee is more over than he is.
Yeah this dude is definitely the most insecure embarrassment I’ve seen so far. If I was WWE I wouldn’t even hire him back just based on those extremely childish immature insecure every word you can use behaviour on a social media platform 😂
This video getting recommended after he just got Toilet paper thrown at him on collision, also funny how swerve made a reference to the why you bald video where ricochet got buthurt lol
I feel like the most charisma he’s had on the mic was when he said “prove it” or something like that after flipping over the ropes in NXT
A cardboard box can cut better promos than him.

Ah AEW, where everyone signs and suddenly everyone thinks they're the hottest shit since sliced bread lmao. AEW isn't for everyone, yet fans will still watch Ricochet (even through video highlights) and he gets PISSED? Like..... what? He could've said thank you, or simply like the tweet and move on... but no he's gotta be all toxic about it....god AEW brings out the worst in people it seems...
Great video as always dude!
Great vid, great vibes
AEW is great for the business only to get the wrestlers a fair cut of what they put their bodies through, but honestly I was one of them marks that loved Black & Gold. So I jumped into the AEW show for the first 2 years. I seen they didn’t bother growing any stars after that, they just started buying ex WWE guys. Then the gods answered my prayers and Vince left so I could actually enjoy WWE again, and Tony picked up the shitty booking that Vince left behind.
If only Richochet showed this much emotion in his promos
Isn’t this the same dude who used to post videos of himself rubbing his thing and putting a finger in his exit zone??
