I was a part of a helicopter crew in Vietnam. As a young man, like most, I thought I was strong and beyond tears. I have never been so wrong. When I heard these angelic voices the tears flowed unabated and without shame.
I hear ya, Bro! I haven't cried, not actual tears, but there comes a welling-up inside me that causes me to have to get a grip on my emotions, to prevent myself from crying. I have downloaded the above video and placed it on two different external hard drives just to make sure I've still got it in case it disappears off of Al Gore's Internet. This family is righteous and is also righteously talented in a meaningful reminder of the way Americans lived a half-Century ago. They are beautiful people, and I feel qualified to say so. I'm a Marine vet, on the ground in country 1966 & 1967, "C" Battery, 2nd L.A.A.M. Battalion, south of Chu Lai, I Corps, FMF Pac. A half-Century later, my Soul is tuned to Spiritual vibes, embraces beauty and joy in life, and daily forgives my lower self for having been duped by out damned-by-God government that lied to us as if our Constitution required our government to regulate how any other damned nation governs itself. All of us who volunteered to go to that damned war were deceived -- but -- in our hearts we thought we were doing the right thing. Time tells all. The bought and/or blackmailed idiots running Washington, District of Columbia have been corrupted beyond description ever since the American people let the CIA get away with murdering JFK in 1963 -- the coup which let the Joint Chiefs and Wall Street Moguls move forward with their quest for long-term wars in Southeast Asia. I agree… but dude I think these are children. Although one can’t tell bc they don’t have all of the hormones in their food. They could be 14 or 40 years old. Lol
A song so true to it s words. I went to Nam as a Combat Medic with The Infantry Grunts. I was only 18 when I went and 19 when I came back. We lost so many young men to that war. But, Thank You, The Young Ladies of The Brandenberger and Wagler Families. Praise God above for Families like Yours
God Bless you beautiful children!! You bring tears to my eyes! I wishe we were raised like you with good hearts and intentions. Pray for America! 🙏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
It doesn't matter if you're raised like them... As long as you have a pure heart and soul. . My family on my mother's side. Although I am not Amish...Great ancestors were.. But I know I have a good soul.. That's what matters. We are pure energy....
Throw a prayer up there for us Canucks too please. We ALL want the same things for our families/ our countries. Beautiful music worthy of Jesus I figure.
Thank you Heavenly Father for this precious family- Such a blessing in this dark world we are living in- I look forward for your new songs -God Bless and keep them!
Absolutely beautiful talent and such a wonderful blessing this family is. We have such an awesome Lord and Savior. These girls have more of Gods love and purity in just one molecule of any one of their beings as all the professional musicians in Nashville combined. God bless you all richly.
It's good to see young people keeping country bluegrass and old time music alive and well. You all play and sing incredibly well . God has blessed you with a lot of talent. Keep using it for his Glory.
The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace. יהוה
I really enjoy this family with their talents, they are so blessed to have great voices and their ability to play so many instruments . I listen to them every day and never tire of them . God bless each and everyone 🙏 of you
This tune brought tears to my eyes as I remembered so many of my childhood friends who died in the Vietnam War during the Tet Offensive in 1968. I can remember when we were sitting down for supper and Walter Cronkite would be on the evening news and every single night Walter would do a body count of the dead soldiers on both sides. I remember my Fathers anger and rage about the war and how the tears flowed for our young men. The Brandenberger Family represent's the best of the best as American's. I thank The Brandenberger Family for all the great music and video's here on TH-cam. The Tet Offensive lasted for eight (8) brutal months from January, 1968 all the way to August, 1968.
You ladies are awesome great song and singers. I love your family and your music. Thank you Bethney and all. I am an Vietnam Vet and this song is touching . God bless you all
When I hear these two beautiful young ladies sing this song it reminds me of my uncle. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He signed for a second tour to keep his only brother, my other uncle, from being drafted. To all our war veterans thank you for your service and R.I.P. to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. 🇺🇸
