$13 is a really good price for these types of polishes. I see some people complaining but even drug store polish is usually around $8, this is a pretty competitive price for an indie brand

In Canada, when you go to shoppers or Walmart, the cheapest polish I’ve found is at LEAST $8.00 with bigger name brands like Essie being closer to $11.00-12.00 so this is SUPER affordable when comparing against the norm. The only place I’ve seen a 2.00 nail polish is the dollar store.....

Peel off base coat! I would 100% buy one made and tested by you. Maybe one that includes moisturizing ingredients for the nails to help protect them? Also nail oil would be good to include.
