Mac Arthur Park was inspired by Linda Ronstad's cousin, when she rejected the composer's sentimental advances. She was already engaged. English actor Richard Harris agreed to sing this song in 1968. The bench is still there, after all of these years -North/west corner of the Wilshire Blvd. entrance.
