Frozen bananas in smoothies are amazing!! I don't have almond milk, so I just use regular milk. It would be even better with the almond milk though! www.bonappetit.com/recipe/banana-almond-smoothie
Thank you so much for answering my question! I love your channel and I so appreciate your willingness to take the time to personally answer questions!!
I just finished eating the mocha fudge ice cream and it was absolutely delicious:p I love recipes like this, simple and healthy! Keep up the good work and THANK YOU:)
Hi!! I really like all your guilt free ice cream recipes as I'm health conscious and craved ice cream!! I tried the recipes and they are absolutely delicious and guilt-free!!!
Love it! I will definitely try these recipes! Especially since ice cream is my favorite indulgence. Great ideas in every video. You are very consistent!
I'd never thought of adding other stuff to frozen blended bananas. I've always just had it as banana ice cream... Well that's going to change! Love your videos!
Trader Joe's has frozen green figs which when added to a banana smoothie adds almost a cake batter/almond type taste. I bet it would be good in these "ice creams"!
hi Sara I love ur videos 😍😍😍😍💝💟👍 can u make meriengn in a toaster oven because mine never ever work in the oven they r always Burt on outside and completely raw inside
Hi there! Just wondering, if I use 3 bananas instead of 2, would you recommend just adding a little bit extra of each ingredient? Thank you, love your channel 😍
I just realize you didn't use vanilla extract in some of the ice cream or did miss it. Other way, i made it for me and my kids and we love it. So yummy and guilt free.
wish I'd found you BEFORE I bought the Dessert Bullet - when I tried it I found it's really hard to blend the flavours...sounds like yours works better. I'm excited to try it. You don't give any measurements. Could I get an idea of ratios?
I have a question: If I were to make this then put it in the freezer, would it last? Or would is just harden to the texture of ice cubes? If it could last, how long?
you remind me of Drew Barrymore! And I love this idea! I'm trying to be healthy in my life, and I've found it hard to give up ice cream, but these I know I can enjoy without feeling guilty!
Just discovered your channel and I love it! It's almost summer here in New Zealand, so I can't wait to try this ^^ Just a question, could you make like a larger batch and then freeze it for later on? Like how long would this 'ice cream' keep for, just due to all the fresh ingredients? Or is this something you have to make each time you want some? ^^ Because it would be awesome to make a larger batch and then have some for whenever I need an ice cream substitute ^^
tkxforever53 Hi! You can definitely do a large batch and keep it frozen until you're ready to eat it. Just be sure to thaw it for 5-10 minutes before eating it so it's not too hard :)
So gonna try the mocha fudge flavour, one thing though, if we freeze up the mixture will it affect the flavour/texture of it.. and can i use normal whole milk instead of the almond milk? Really appreciate the new vid with new awesome flavours.. Thanks
Susan L. Hi! The mocha fudge flavour is to-die-for...You're going to love it! After refreezing the ice cream, it will get more solid. If you want it softer, just leave it out of the freezer for five or ten minutes before eating. And yes, dairy milk will work just as well as almond milk in this recipe! Enjoy :D
You would be fine using regular milk and she probably peeled and chopped her bananas to make them easier to blend. If you have a REALLY strong food processor you might not have to do this but it would probably help it blend better if you did.
Peeling the bananas before you freeze them is ESSENTIAL!! If you don't you will have to slice the skin off the banana (Trust me, this is NOT fun). Chopping them before, or after freezing depends on your blender.
U can use a regular type of milk and of course yeah u should peel and chop your bananas before u freeze them (to avoid getting messy with the frozen bananas and to save time ) :)
Can I use unsweetened coconut milk? I'm going to try the maple walnut recipe but swap the maple syrup with maple flavored blue agave syrup (tastes the same, but lower in calories and lower glycemic index)...
Lauha Liira From personal experience: Yes! But you need to be careful and sometimes it is best to mix every few minutes, so you blend everything nice and good. I use a handmixer for smoothies, ice cream and other such things that need blending, as I don't have other options
No! The frozen bananas are going to shred a hand mixer. See if you can get a blender or even a stick blender. They are a bit more powerful and can handle the job.
MsKelly1974 They can be kept in the freezer in glass jars :) Just be sure to leave an inch or so at the top of the jar so the contents can expand safely :) You'll want to thaw the ice cream for 5-10 minutes before eating :)
I tried the peaches & cream today, SO GOOD, you're my number 1 cooking channel ❤️
nu al mahrooqi Yay!! I am so happy you enjoyed it :)

Sonya Steiner Hi Sonya. Yes, you'll want to add a little extra to make sure it's still as flavourful :)
Gonna try these thanks Sara~

DO the bananas have to be frozen?and do you have to use a food processed/blender?
wish I'd found you BEFORE I bought the Dessert Bullet - when I tried it I found it's really hard to blend the flavours...sounds like yours works better. I'm excited to try it. You don't give any measurements. Could I get an idea of ratios?

I really love the creative flavors btw!
Julia Evita Vatne You can use whatever type of milk you use. Another woman even used a little bit of water.
I have a question: If I were to make this then put it in the freezer, would it last? Or would is just harden to the texture of ice cubes? If it could last, how long?
adding vanilla extract and honey prevent ice cream to become rock solid.

Hi, is there a specific quantity of bananas, milk etc or do you just go with what you feel?
exelante sarah perfect chef
Could you use a blender? I really want to try the chocolate cherry ice cream!! Thanks keep being awesome!
Hi. You can but your blender needs to be pretty strong to get through frozen bananas.
These look sooo yummy! I'll definitely have to try one of these soon :)
Brooke Definitely do! They're SOOOO tasty!

Hi,
Is there any alternative for banana as my son is allergic to banana.
Thank you
Quarantine has given me free time to actually try this😊👍
Mocha Fudge "Guilt Free" ice cream.... YES PLEASE!!
Yummy!!
Could you use a blender instead of a food processor?
Can we store the extra - like freeze it ahead? Thx you are awesome:-)
Absolutely you can store it :) You'll want to seal it in an airtight container and let it thaw for five or ten minutes before eating it. Enjoy!!
Would be interesting if you could post a comparison of the ingredients and calories of this healthier version vs similar flavored regular ice-cream..
Robert LC - Digital Artist Hi! That's actually a really great idea! Will try it in my next vid :)
The Domestic Geek Awesome :)

Kiara Schroder They're so yummy! I hope you'll try them out!

I wish you the best of luck with your fasting. Definitely come and see us again when you're done :)
Can I add any kind of raw vegs in there? e.g spinach?
Is it okay if you can use regular milk? Also, do you have to peel and chop the bananas before putting them into the freezer?

Can you tell me please how many hours do you freeze the bananas?
can i use whole milk or whipping cream for any othe recipes?
Can I use unsweetened coconut milk? I'm going to try the maple walnut recipe but swap the maple syrup with maple flavored blue agave syrup (tastes the same, but lower in calories and lower glycemic index)...
Great idea!! Yes, coconut milk will work just as well and add a little extra flavour too. Enjoy!
I am a student and can neither afford or fit a food processor in my tiny kitchen. Do you think a hand blender would be able to do the job?
Lauha Liira From personal experience: Yes! But you need to be careful and sometimes it is best to mix every few minutes, so you blend everything nice and good. I use a handmixer for smoothies, ice cream and other such things that need blending, as I don't have other options
No! The frozen bananas are going to shred a hand mixer. See if you can get a blender or even a stick blender. They are a bit more powerful and can handle the job.
For the maple walnut, do you use grade a or b for the maple? I don't really know the difference as to which gives an actual maple taste.
bedbugg22 They both will totally work! And both will be delicious :)
can we really taste the bananas in the icecream? or does it just add a nice creamy texture to it?
I love the coffee chocolate
Hi, do these ice creams need to be eaten straight away or can they be kept in the freezer, if they can be frozen, can this be done in the glass jars.
MsKelly1974 They can be kept in the freezer in glass jars :) Just be sure to leave an inch or so at the top of the jar so the contents can expand safely :) You'll want to thaw the ice cream for 5-10 minutes before eating :)
Almond milk is not available in my country ,is using regular milk normal in these recipes??
love the flavors by the way
You can definitely use regular milk!
You can make your own almond/walnut/cashew milks. Search YT for recipes! :-)
Could you do a guilt free Mint chocolate chip cookies? or ice cream
What this is possible? I have an ice cream addiction but it's impossible for me to try not to eat to much. BUT GIRLFRIEND YOU SAVED ME!
:)
