I love when Bo is on the Axis and loses- but it's a close loss. So many times in MP the Germany player just quits, but he fights it to the last man- and it's much more entertaining (and sportsmanlike)

This video was a rollercoaster and a half and why I like your HoI4 MP games more than other TH-camrs. The meta gets tiring to see over and over, and you actually Endsieg unlike most Germany players.
@@oldpersonmc18yearold46 Depends what speed you play at and, to be honest, not really. Provided your army is well managed from the start, all you really have to micro are the tanks. Just don't make any aggressive encirclements if you're under too much pressure, and know when to switch to AI controlled frontlines on the fly to prevent your tanks getting surrounded when you're busy with something else. Never leave your tanks clumped up like that, AI isn't good, but they'll at least react to the enemy. I've honestly dealt with much worse micromanagement in a number of modded multiplayer games with shit like river crossings, more impassable terrain and naval invasions. Oh and doing those stupid wars where you have significantly less infantry than what's necessary to man a front. A simple two sided front isn't exactly that hard to micro, and hoi4 requires far less APM than non-grandstrategy RTS'. So it really isn't humanly possible, and I'd say the main reason why they don't do it here is because it'd probably be really fucking difficult to make entertaining commentary while doing it.
@@pagatryx5451 you have never played skilled players before and it shows. tanks attached to a battleplan will be killed in the time it takes you to pan from one front to another. if you want to see what i’m talking about look at the vods from the “international” tournament. those players were the best of the best, but the disparity between that and your “average” comp player isn’t that big. even bo and friends are good enough to do that.

I think you're the one who doesn't know what they're talking about considering you seem to think Hoi4 has a higher average APM in comparison to something like Star Craft... You should be able to easily flick between multiple task forces in seconds. If you're sticking to a front long enough for multiple land tiles to have been taken, you're either playing at 4 or 5 speed or suck. And no, Bo and his friends aren't amazing. A few of them including Bo are quite good, but that's about it. They are really lacking in the micromanagement department and typically make a lot of noobie mistakes because they're just having fun. This is a highlights video, not a full playthrough...
@@pagatryx5451 do tell! would you mind naming some of the discords you’re on? and if they’re “comp” then why would you worry about shitty coops? i never said hoi4 requires more apm than starcraft or other similar games. but that doesn’t mean it still doesn’t require a lot, and what’s more important is that it scales based on how many opponents you’re facing. if they have, say, 3 people (USA-France-Soviets, I’ll assume you don’t usually have Sov coops either) then you’ll have 3x as many actions to keep up with. but seriously, you already proved your skill level when you said you put your tanks on an AI frontline while microing the other front. i’m talking speed 3 and maybe 2 here btw
