Watching a Mario beat such a cheap and OP character is always satisfying.
OP I agree with, cheap not as much. Sure there is the surface level stuff that is OBVIOUSLY cheap (cough cough 10 hit combo, super armor, true built in combo input), but tbh those are NOT going to get you consistent stock leads in the competitive smash bros of today.

Movement for Kazuya is also extremely impressive for how hard it is. Not as clean as Kurama’s and Tweek’s but significantly more difficult than their characters movement. Not downplaying their incredible skill though

Whatever character riddles is playing is unbelievably broken. Like holy shit how is that in the game. Ridiculous.
I mean both characters have a true death combo from a low percent. Mario just has a way better disadvantage state than Kazuya so even with a weaker kill combo, he’s still so strong. Kazuya can get juggled so unbelievably easy, if he had a way to get out of disadvantage state, Kazuya would be undeniably #1 character in the game

Wow that last kill was so carried, such a great match ruined by a boring ending. How a command grab can kill at 80 while Mario back kicks him at 130 is beyond me
Because Kazuya is a heavy character and very slow. Big bodied heavies make up their slow moves by adding tons of strength to them. Mario has much faster and safer moves but Kazuya has stronger moves. It isn’t that hard to put the pieces together
