No one thought Warren Beatty would EVER settle down, but I love that he did, and when he did, he made it last and now has a beautiful family with Annette Bening.
Narcissists get old...and when they do...they will marry the best form of narcissistic supply they can find. One can only hope, for his sake, that he's had enough therapy to heal from whatever his parents put him through before the age of 4 (when the personality is developed).
Many stories have come out where he demands young women to ‘visit’ him at his trailer and gets butthurt when they deny him.

Graham Norton is such a rare talent . He is so hilarious and allows guests to answer.

I like how he starts the questions with, "I know you don't like to answer these questions but........." and starts asking the questions. Graham Norton gets away with stuff that no one else can. What a treasure.

I actually got to meet him once when he was previewing one of his films. He was a good looking fellow. I shook his hand and and remember that it was very soft. Obviously not a life spent at hard labor lol. Love his films.

No, what they are is narcissists. That is unadulterated, narcissistic psychopathology. They FEAR attaching to anyone because their parents damaged them as little children, teaching them that their only value is making the parent "look good" by achieving (in Beatty's case, becoming famous).
That isn't anything anyone should EVER wish on any child. It's almost irreparably damaging.

Beatty is such an odd guy. Nothing like Nicholson or Brando who were hilarious in real life, especially Brando who was a master of revelation in interviews. At one point, Beatty wanted to go into politics and he changed his persona which is fair enough, but he didn't run for office and he never snapped out of that weird persona he adopted.
Yeah ,i remember Warren , he was great in Bonnie & Clyde and Bugsy ,many others too. He got that old school charisma and style kinda very natural talent. . I ve missed that Rules Dont Apply ,needs to check it out. Very good.

Coz that's the vibe of the show haven't u watched it. He does ask good questions but it's mainly about the guests and audience having a good time. Want a serious interview go watch older interview of him and podcasts now has more serious talking

His character in Shampoo seemed like him in real life, except much stupider and Beatty is not a stupid man. So good looking he can't help but attract women like flies.
My 3 favorites are: Splendor in the Grass, Bonnie and Clyde and Heaven Can Wait.

Warren Beatty is an icon in the mold of Brando and Dean, he's made some truly great movies (Bonnie & Clyde, McCabe & Mrs Miller, The Paralax View, Heaven Can Wait etc, and he was the ultimate seducer of beautiful, talented, intelligent women. However, Warren has always been just about the most awkward, painful interview subject ever.
But at least he was quick minded in interviews when younger, no matter how prickly. He looks amazing for 82, actually still good looking, but obviously the mind has slowed considerably.

Had never been a WB fan; until this interview.
A few years ago Carly Simon finally came out and said the song was written about Mick Jagger, who she briefly dated back then. On another interview she said that the song "Anticipation" was written some time around 1970 when she was waiting for Cat Stevens to pick her up for their first date. Warren is a total force! He didn't do tons of movies but almost everything he touched turned to gold, and from say 1967 until the early 80s he, Jack, and Robert Evans had the world in the palms of their hands. I was born at the end of 1968 and would have rather been born 20 years earlier because the 70s in So CA were awesome times to be of age!
Mick just sang back up on the song. I saw a interview were she said the 3 verses were all different guys. At least one guy was about Aristotle Onassis, who was married to her friend Jackie.

That's a fantastic book, written in one of the most interesting styles ever. There's already been a half-baked movie about her starring Sienna Miller. I'd be surprised if anyone could make a movie about her that's better than that book.
My mom was in 8th grade with her; Edie liked her mocassins (or vice versa).
Based on this interview seems it's too late for Mr Beatty, hopefully he's open to selling the rights.

My take on the matter is, both brother and sister were/are great actors. Sort of hate to see them grow old. They will always be young to me. They both are of my generation. I remember taking my high school sweetheart (later my wife - now deceased) to see the movie "Splendor in the Grass" and saw her crying for "Deanie", (Natalie Wood), all through the movie.

Recently saw Beattie in a 1950's film The Only Game in Town and discovered what a good actor he is. Reds was glorious but he ruined it with the monotonous love scenes.
In think I saw that movie and had to turn it off half way through.
