Congrats on the new house. Can't wait to see the the Flic Cave 2.0 I like your plans, but I would so make one of those extra bedrooms the actual movie viewing room. You could arrange all the surround speakers and let them breath a little. Maybe even look at a projector and screen in the future...just a thought. That would give you a bit more space in the actual Flic Cave. Cheers!

John, It's your house and you should do whatever you wish with it. However, I have a small suggestion. I think it's best if you swap the location of the TV with the location of your video shooting. This way you will not block the window with the movie shelve. Moreover, this way you will not get annoying sunlight reflections while watching TV during the day. Also. if the closet door is within the video shooting view, you can keep it open and hang some cool movie related stuff. Wait! I have another idea. How about you keep your TV (or a smaller TV) as part of your video shooting studio? This way you can show a logo or poster of whatever movie you are talking about in each video. Or you can use it to show whatever you want; sky is the limit, buddy. Anyway, just my two cents worth :-)
