Charlie Murphy was no clone of his brother and he could have taken the easy road on his brothers coattails but he was his own self which was hilarious. Rest In Peace Mr. Murphy, you made many people happy and we will be forever your fans.
When celebrities pass away it usually doesn't affect me but when I heard the news that he died yesterday (I heard it a day late) it really ruined my day. Charlie always came across as a genuinely good guy.

I got to see Charlie Murphy live back in college (06/07), and I never laughed so damn hard. It was a great show! He definitely didn't dumb it down or hold back and we LOVED IT! To this day I regret not recording it... One of my fave comedians... He is truly missed.

charlie stand up was on point, i saw him when he started, his act was pretty rough, of course, he was starting out, but eventually he got it, and he got good at it. Charlie really did become a true stand up comic. He was a hard worker and he was dedicated to the craft.
