Another beautiful example!! You make everything look so effortless, whikch I feel adds to the inspiration! Thank you so much!
I like binding like that, except with elastic, because the pages are refillable and replaceable. Takes the pressure off if you don’t have to worry about mistakes on a page😊
Yes, it's kinda like a flowe journal ❤
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I am beyond thrilled to see this video!
Yes, I would like to see a video on how you made the other one you held up for us to see.
I have so much scrapbook paper and am anxious to see any ways to use it for making journals.
I have been wanting to create a journal cover plus pages with scrapbook paper, but hesitated to figure out how to do it. I really appreciate your hard work to figure it out! You are so talented!
Yes on video of other journal
Beginner Junk Journal-er here 🙋♀️ Your turorial was easy to understand. And u have a lot of great ideas. I plan on making this my 2nd project. I was always intimated with the sewing of the journals and signatures (had NO idea what it all meant). I'm going to save this vid so I can reference back to. Tyfs ❤
I am just starting a journal like this with elastic but now that I see ribbon I may change my mind!
Thank you for this video. Being a beginner, spine covering has been an issue for me. I never thought to do it like this as this will solve my problem of trying to cover everything at once and ending up with cracking. So happy I found you, you are just the teacher I need!!!
You are an incredibly talented Journal ! This is a wonderful tutorial and a must watch for anyone. Thank you for sharing.😊
I have not made the junk journal,I have been wanting to and u have made it look easy! Thank you for an easy to follow tutorial 😊😊😊
Jessica thank you so much for the refreshing video. I turned out beautiful as it always do. I would love to see the next video you proposed earlier.
Excellent tutorial! It turned out so pretty!
Great tutorial! So glad you are filming at close range so I can really see..Thanks so much .💚
So pretty. 🤩
Thank you! Absolutely love this video!
I sew each signature with a 3 hole pamphlet stitch, then I do exactly this, and instead of stitching through the spine, the method you're showing is a goodway to secure those signatures, and much easier than stitching into the spine. I personally find this a good way to make journals with multiple signatures xx thankyou x
Very nice journal. Thanks for sharing.
I used to use paper for the cover when I first started but it is easy to break the paper when I was using the journal. So I like to use fabric now for the cover, I really like the flexibility of the fabric. I love no sew journal since I don't have a sewing machine. Although sewing does give the journal more character. Usually I use elastic or twine for my binding but i never use lace, ribbon or fabric. It is something new i can try! Thank you for the tutorial.
Love the binding. I stuggle with more than one signature. This may help to do it this way. Am definitely going to try it. Such a pretty journal Jessica
I love the "formula" for the signature! Tysm!
Omg this is so pretty! Thank you for sharing this. I think this is my inspiration for my FIRST junk journal!
Jessica, your journal and instructions were very good. The journal is beautiful. I really appreciate what you said about making the signatures shorter than the covers. This is very important as I have learned this. ❤
I love the paper colors used for the cover and binding. On a mission to find them today!
This is the only way that I do my journals anymore I always do twine binding or this method because it makes it look so much prettier and you get that extra decoration on the spine with the fabric tassles❤
i love your channel very much i liked and shared it.thank you
That’s cute!!😊
LOVE THIS! I have so much paper that I really need to make one something like this soon!
This is similar to how I’ve been doing journals because I don’t sew and it all goes so much faster. Great video!
Great video Jessica.
I agree with you for taking that added piece off. It does look better bare.
Oh my goodness, that is fabulous, thanks for the great idea, I have a hard time with the sewing, this is a game changer
I love binding this way. When I made my personal Junk Journal awhile back I used this method and I think it’s my fav way. Beautiful journal 😊
I love this! Definitely doing one like this
In view..love the paper you are using. This video is very helpful. Thank you.🍄🌻 oh my goodness Jessica!…..I ❤️ the ribbons on the spine, so beautiful.🎀
This is beautiful, love the ribbon look, going to try this instead of sewing. Thank you for this great idea. x
I love, love, love the papers you picked out for the cover and spine!!!
💚💛💜
So pretty and love the binding ribbon !
I would like to see the one you mentioned.
Can't wait for the fabric tutorial too.
I don’t desire to sew so I like no sew tips for great affect thanks!
That is a lovely little journal!
Love this ❤ Thank you 😊
This is awesome ❤
Oh my gosh, this is adorable and you have really shown the process so well, I think I can truly give this a try and achieve something I can get excited about and be happy with in the end. Thank you for sharing, I'm new here and I think I'm going to love it,
Beautiful!
Loved it!
Hi there! Thank you for your amazing easy to follow tutorials for beginners like me.
I was at a loss in what to do with my scrapbook cards/paper. I'm definitely interested in how you created this another lovely journal at 0:48.
I'm binge watching some of your videos you've got me hooked and inspired now, Thank You 😊
Beautiful.
Great tutorial! I do not sew! You provided great ideas❤️
Oh wow this is so much easier to as a beginner and I have those corner because I been wanting to do a journal for a while but I was doing wood diy but I love this thanks for sharing
Your videos are great❤
Newbie here from the uk🩶 I’m going to attempt to do a journal xx
Great tutorial, thanks!
Hey Jessica
This is very cool! Going to give it a try!
This turned out beautiful! Could I possibly use cardstock instead of a box for my cover, because I don't have any food boxes! 😮
Sweet!❤️
Very neat and tidy. I love the ribbon, what kind is it?
So funny, I think using paper is more intimidating over fabric 😂 I’m yet to make a cover with paper as I feel the paper will just rip
I might have missed it in the video, but where can I purchase that gorgeous cover floral paper? thanks!
Would like to know where you got your colorful eyelets.. it's hard to find the ones that fit the crocodile in colors?
Also the turquoise colored small envelopes(glassine?)
thank you!
get a cheap dollar store paint brush for spreading your glue ... much cleaner
Very beautiful. But I am fully with you: I like to use fabric because of its flexibility, too 😊
What kind of ribbon did you use
Where do you get the metal corners?
Your cover looks so easy but I’ve tried this so many times but it never turns out like yours 😢
Do you have one done like this with material? If so can you send me a link to it please?
I’ll be showing one just like that next week!
@@PaperTerrace Thank you.
Please feel no sew journal.
