I have been watching Adam for years now, off and on, and we even met him in person a couple years ago (super nice guy). This seemingly generic video is absolutely mesmerizing. How Adam manages to get 21.5 minutes out of buying and eating three hot dogs - and making it utterly entertaining - is a true gift. Just the observational details - from the $1.50 water to the empty store (almost creepy!) to the pointless patches of grass that Adam might pave over - IT IS HILARIOUS AND BRILLIANT. It is literally Zen meditation pop culture. Hail, Adam the Woo!

Once again a great video Adam. Apparently Wiener schnitzel, sometimes spelled Wienerschnitzel, as in Switzerland, is a type of schnitzel made of a thin, breaded, pan-fried veal cutlet. It is one of the best known specialities of Viennese cuisine, and one of the national dishes of Austria.

  • @jolenemudra4971

Adam, we have Wienerschnitzel in Arizona, too. And sauerkraut is shredded cabbage that is pickled or fermented with lots of salt and vinegar. Those looked delicious!
BTW, I've never been to a Wienerschnitzel here in Arizona, but since I'm originally from Chicago, I have perfected the making of Chicago dogs. We can get Vienna dogs here. Also, we have Portillo's, a Chicago based chain specializing in hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches. And they are delicious!

Sauerkraut is finely cut raw cabbage that has been fermented by various lactic acid bacteria. It has a long shelf life and a distinctive sour flavour, both of which result from the lactic acid formed when the bacteria ferment the sugars in the cabbage leaves. It is one of the best known national dishes in Germany.

I grew up very close to this specific Wiernerschnitzel in Orange, CA. In the late 70s, I used to ride my bike there and eat and stop by at the Licorice Pizza, which was in that same strip mall, to eat a complimentary piece of licorice and look at the latest records on my way home.

There was a Der Weinerschnitzel in Center Point, Al when I was a kid. The building was a very steep, red A frame and the A was pointed. We ate there quite a few times on our way to the Mustang Drive Inn Theater, then they went out of business. Didn't know until now they were a chain. Sneaky Pete's is the hot dog chain in the Southern US and their Junkyard dog is so big you can't even see the bun. You have to eat it with a fork. It has everything yours had except fries. Cole slaw, sauerkraut, onions, chili, relish, Sneaky Pete sauce and cheese sauce covers these dogs and buns completely.

Thanks for sharing. If it were a true Chicago hot dog though the bun should have poppy seeds on it. Most of the chicago beef dogs use the Vienna as you mentioned.

Love the shirt! A sign of a true Disney fan. Hot dogs looked so good even though I never eat them. I live in a city where coney dogs are famous from a facility that has been in business over 100 years. People love their dogs.

I loved Wienerschnitzel! Sauerkraut is fermented cabbage and is loaded with vitamin C. Growing up I always got two Kraut dogs and a chocolate shake 😋. Wish I had one nearby!
