As I said in the outro, this video was supposed to be a tiny little thing out in January, but I'm a perfectionist that's insanely susceptible to "scope creep" and those two are absolutely AWFUL for keeping to a schedule of any sort. Plus, given that it's entirely possible this is my last COD video given the whole "generative AI in BO6" thing, I wanted to go all out with the visuals and information. Really end on a high note, y'know? I won't lie and say the AI stuff is the only reason I'm skipping BO6. As time goes on and my tastes change, I get less and less out of Zombies. More importantly, the Zombies community feel less and less welcoming due to it's constant elitism, hostility and in-fighting over the same 3 or 4 things. It's genuinely exhausting and I have zero patience for it at this point, especially with how much more welcoming other communities are that I've been hanging around lately. Anyway, I really hope you all enjoyed this video and if this is the last time I post a COD video, I wish all my fellow creators the best of luck with BO6! I hope it's an absolute banger of a game that reinvigorates your love for the franchise!
It is kinda a shame about the AI stuff with Black Ops 6 because it's the first time I've been excited for a CoD game since Black Ops IIII, and the first time I've been optimistic about one since probably Black Ops 3. It's honestly made me feel really guilty about being excited. Regardless it's gonna be sad to not really have a content creator I jive with for its lifespan but I totally get it. Hope to see some content you are more passionate about soon, like Signalis, I've been looking for motivation to try that
The thing about other communities being way more welcoming is so true lmao, you don't notice how bad the codzombies community is without a better frame of reference. Not to mention it's filled with all the same hatred as the normal cod community, just to a slightly lesser extent. I was on the codz subreddit recently and I saw a comment from a trans woman who just said that she was glad that she was accepted or whatever. Then of course there was the bombardment of horrible comments that she got, it was disheartening to see. It's hard to say you like anything related to call of duty nowadays because that's the kind of image that the cod community gives out.

Actually I think this might be way worse, cos the VAs in that game were consenting and still appear with their own stuff, and they get paid for it. Here, presumably they're using those AI art generators that steal a load of art without any financial credit to the artists or even consent.

Little bit sad to see that this will probably be your last COD video because your videos got me interested in zombies again after dismissing it for so many years after BO3, so thank you for giving me a new appreciation for it, but I'm also excited for you making more videos on things you're more interested in, definitely looking forward to a possible signalis video
Rizzo doesn't have to justify why there not making videos anymore but crazy to hear every Activision headline for years and years about what goes on at there studios and with there business practices. I just assumed they were doing it in spite of every bad thing because while Activision doesn't care I know the people who work at the studios do, crap Rizzo's responsible for a decent amount of fixes and changes to VG and CW, I doubt any of the people working at the cod studios are voting in favor of using A.I, doesn't take half a brain to realise that might be hurting your job security as a hired artist or even writer. CoD gets a lot of shit because for the last couple years each game has been rushed out as a minimum viable product that gets fixed later in the year only to be abandoned the next one. I think rizzos videos exposed a under belly that in these modes that people call trash and abandoned that there are some really good game design and some really compelling storytelling going on that shouldn't be instantly dismissed. Rizzo doesn't have to justify why there not making anymore cod videos because there are a million reasons but damm am I going to miss them if they do quit because there the only zombies youtuber making videos because they give a shit about the mode.
The End of Rizzo Zombies era. I feel like I’m getting there too unfortunately. If BO6 doesn’t somehow blow my expectations away, I think I’ll just give up hoping for things obviously never meant to last lol. If you want bo6 to be really good, then you better have very low expectations, lol. Seriously, dk how any person in the community could play any cod game made in the past 5 years and not feel like absolute shit after paying for and experiencing the most minimally viable garbage products. Plus you'd be missing out on tons of masterpieces that have released throughout the past 2 decades that could offer u a completely new experience to gaming that cod will most likely never offer again ( Multi billion dollar company is not gon suddenly change morals for their consumer as long as theyre still making bank, WHICH THEY ARE).

Anyway, to make a long story short, thank you so much for over ten years of Zombies content! I'm very excited to see what you do next!
Beautiful work on this video, Rizzo! Obviously since this’ll be “outdated” due to MW3’s live service nature, here’s a few tips/notes of mine to add on (feel free to comment here if you want to add anything or things change from seasons too): -18:20 You can also give yourself a bonus damage resistance by wielding a Riot Shield! This damage resistance will negate all damage from Mercs if their shots hit the shield, but only reduces damage from zombie hits unlike previous Zombies shields. In addition, since its MP movement nerf (lol screw us), the shield makes you move slower even while on your back. Still worth thinking of using if you’re going into T2 zones, though the mobility nerf really hurts in T3 and the Dark Aether due to the raw aggression. (This tip’s also mentioned at 1:23:30. Note that PaP will also increase the damage reduction granted!) -18:52 *You can consistently get a Legendary Aether Tool and Flawless Crystal now* thanks to the third DA update. Be the first to perform one of three item purification rituals (even if you don’t have the DA items) and you can earn yourself and your squad a full upgrade! (See 1:52:50 for reference; again, you don’t necessarily need to purify an item, but initiating and beating that ritual [without the HVT if you’re not purifying] will give you your rewards! And don’t worry if someone beats you to that punch and you need to purify; just head over to where you’d normally purify and the game should still allow you to upgrade your item!) -27:25 I think the super tanky zombies were called Heavy Zombies in MWZ again, but got renamed to just “Armored Zombies” for some reason partway through. Beware the riot suited stinkers regardless. -38:05 Disciples can also get stunned if you shoot them in their more durable mask, but you can only do this one time. Still exposes their dome to critical damage, so I highly recommend you go for the head instead of the hand anyways! -45:45 Very few weapons will outDPS the Stormcaller’s health regen; however, a very popular practice is utilizing the most powerful melee (the Tonfa) and relying on its extremely fast critical hit rate (every third hit’s a guaranteed crit) to burst down the Stormcaller. Just remember it’s a high risk, high reward; bring decoys and/or Kazimirs to divert the basic zombies while you go head on. - 54:40 Need Chunks? Get some zombies run over in an Escort contract for consistent pieces of meat. Otherwise, go to Tier 1 and kill zombies with overkill damage; either explosives or high damage headshots usually gib them and award you with some flesh. -1:02:40 They finally patched the instakill bug from fall damage; you still need to be careful while flying, but you don’t get punished for a mistake with an arbitrary instant death where you can’t even get revived! -1:05:25 I believe a big part of why the VR11 feels bad is because it probably has a very long trigger delay a la some of the open bolt weapons in the MW reboot series. Make sure to keep your aim on track while you pull the trigger! - 1:29:30 I genuinely have no idea how to kill her either (especially since the Golden Gas Mask is SO BAD), as someone who has pretty much 100%ed MWZ save for finding Brain Rot Schematics. Your best bet if you wanna kill her is just to Zerg rush her with a 6 man as far as I can tell; the poor balance later on doesn’t shock me since apparently MWZ already had very few devs (ONE dev worked on the worm apparently LOL) and is supposedly being hosted by another dev group while 3arc works on BO6. - 1:34:40 Make sure to start looking near the gas! Most of the time your boss arena will spawn not too far away. - 1:43:20 Also watch the 15 minute timer in the Elder DA!!! For the original DA, the generally agreed strategy is to go from Escort to Extractors to Outlast to optimize your timing. I’d also recommend grabbing the Quarters key partway through your Escort since that one’s not too far away from the beaten path.

I don't even own most CoD games past Cold War due to "no money" , so the reviews feels like i played the game without playing the game. Signalis is comfortably one of my favourite games to have come out in the last few years. I could listen to hour-long vids on the game as whole because it's such an interesting game no matter how you look at it. Wherever the future takes you though, best of luck.
as someone who has not played zombies much since BO2, i really like these indepth videos of whats happening in this gamemode i used to love so much. Honestly, seeing as how I've watched this channel since middle school, it's interesting to see how it's basically the end of an era seeing as how this is technically the last Cod video, but what a finale to go out on! As much as it sucks to not see any zombies content from you on bo6, it was a fun ride, and your opinions are valid. Side note if your using the Aether blade while in the Opal palace you can get it stuck on the edge of the scaffolding. It won't come back to your inventory and will spin without killing any enemies and even if you leave to the Dark Aether it will disappear from your hud. I've had it done more then once so be aware of that bug.
I honestly hate MW3 Zombies but I'm gonna watch this anyway cause not only is it probably your last cod zombies video but the graphics and effort you put into this is palpable in just the first few seconds.
hey wonder what happened to that part about sker? :3 cause for someone who said their devs listen to people and their community is actually NOT infighting, and then 180s and goes "they're using AI no sker video now" soooo turns out the "AI" they used were for placeholder menu images until they could get in contact with the person who was supposed to design the ACTUAL menu icons due to issues with them not being able to contact the devs for a few weeks. and have confirmed they are replacing the AI menu icons with actual art now.

If this is your last zombies video you're going out on one hell of a bang. Regardless of what your content is after this I'll be watching. The way you do your videos and combine with your humour (mimic spam mimic spam mimic spam) while detailing everything in such a ridiculously in depth way is fantastic. Doubly so cos i personally struggle keeping my attention focused on long videos but somehow you just bypass that lmao. Keep on keeping on dude.
I think the best way is to get Death Perception and look for her that way, that or throw the Aether Blade around until you see the Armor icon next to your crosshairs, she's the only one inside the warehouse who won't die to the blade so you'll find her that way. Also, the best way to kill any warlord (except Dokkaebi) is to rush them, hug them and stunlock them with the Tesla Storm. 1:29:21
Keres was the first proper warlord I went against. (Solo btw) I barely managed to fight through the outside forces and get into the warehouse. Once I was in there I spent a good 10 minutes blindly running around the smoke and killing grunts, only surviving off the gas masks I salvaged. I didn’t even see the boss before I died.
To answer your question about why the vehicles have fuel It’s a holdover from DMZ where as a balancing choice to prevent players from just driving in circles for 5 minutes with vehicles to evade player hunt contracts they would be forced to stop for fuel every now and then

Fantastic video! I really only play MWZ every few weeks nowadays to grind out double xp/battle pass tokens and to play the latest story missions (when they release every 25 years) but this was a really fun watch. You put an insane amount of effort into the visual department, mad respect. I saw your pinned comment about the elitism in zombies and yeah I agree. While I haven't lost my love for the mode, far from it, it has kinda killed my interest in engaging in the zombies community because if you say you like anything past BO3 you're public enemy number 1. Shame the community is filled with this elitism (and the casual bigotry towards the LGBT). But yeah fantastic video as always!

Hey rizzo thank you for making all of these CoD zombies videos as it gave me an appreciation for some of the less popular games like WW2’s zombies and how I look at video games sometimes. It does take a lot of stopping here knowing that all of that AI garbage is just creeping in the gaming industry unfortunately. Season 3 Disciples kinda sound like the watcher drones from Halo 5. Particularly those during boss phases in warzone firefight, like anyone remember fighting like two Warden Eternals, and just as your gonna kill one of the wardens, one of the watchers fills the warden health fully rather than partically?

Having seen a couple stuff on your Twitter, it'll be a shame if this does end up being your last COD zombies video but at the same time I feel like I wouldn't mind watching videos of you talking about your interests regardless of what it might be. Hell, your Persona 3 video is a testament to that. Speaking as someone who tried MWZ during one of the free trial periods, it was a tad fun but it wasn't my kind of gamemode and also the mercenaries annoyed me to no end as a solo player. Beautiful work on this video, Rizzo! Obviously since this’ll be “outdated” due to MW3’s live service nature, here’s a few tips/notes of mine to add on (feel free to comment here if you want to add anything or things change from seasons too):
-18:20 You can also give yourself a bonus damage resistance by wielding a Riot Shield! This damage resistance will negate all damage from Mercs if their shots hit the shield, but only reduces damage from zombie hits unlike previous Zombies shields. In addition, since its MP movement nerf (lol screw us), the shield makes you move slower even while on your back. Still worth thinking of using if you’re going into T2 zones, though the mobility nerf really hurts in T3 and the Dark Aether due to the raw aggression. (This tip’s also mentioned at 1:23:30. Note that PaP will also increase the damage reduction granted!)
-18:52 *You can consistently get a Legendary Aether Tool and Flawless Crystal now* thanks to the third DA update. Be the first to perform one of three item purification rituals (even if you don’t have the DA items) and you can earn yourself and your squad a full upgrade! (See 1:52:50 for reference; again, you don’t necessarily need to purify an item, but initiating and beating that ritual [without the HVT if you’re not purifying] will give you your rewards! And don’t worry if someone beats you to that punch and you need to purify; just head over to where you’d normally purify and the game should still allow you to upgrade your item!)
-27:25 I think the super tanky zombies were called Heavy Zombies in MWZ again, but got renamed to just “Armored Zombies” for some reason partway through. Beware the riot suited stinkers regardless.
-38:05 Disciples can also get stunned if you shoot them in their more durable mask, but you can only do this one time. Still exposes their dome to critical damage, so I highly recommend you go for the head instead of the hand anyways!
-45:45 Very few weapons will outDPS the Stormcaller’s health regen; however, a very popular practice is utilizing the most powerful melee (the Tonfa) and relying on its extremely fast critical hit rate (every third hit’s a guaranteed crit) to burst down the Stormcaller. Just remember it’s a high risk, high reward; bring decoys and/or Kazimirs to divert the basic zombies while you go head on.
- 54:40 Need Chunks? Get some zombies run over in an Escort contract for consistent pieces of meat. Otherwise, go to Tier 1 and kill zombies with overkill damage; either explosives or high damage headshots usually gib them and award you with some flesh.
-1:02:40 They finally patched the instakill bug from fall damage; you still need to be careful while flying, but you don’t get punished for a mistake with an arbitrary instant death where you can’t even get revived!
-1:05:25 I believe a big part of why the VR11 feels bad is because it probably has a very long trigger delay a la some of the open bolt weapons in the MW reboot series. Make sure to keep your aim on track while you pull the trigger!
- 1:29:30 I genuinely have no idea how to kill her either (especially since the Golden Gas Mask is SO BAD), as someone who has pretty much 100%ed MWZ save for finding Brain Rot Schematics. Your best bet if you wanna kill her is just to Zerg rush her with a 6 man as far as I can tell; the poor balance later on doesn’t shock me since apparently MWZ already had very few devs (ONE dev worked on the worm apparently LOL) and is supposedly being hosted by another dev group while 3arc works on BO6.
- 1:34:40 Make sure to start looking near the gas! Most of the time your boss arena will spawn not too far away.
- 1:43:20 Also watch the 15 minute timer in the Elder DA!!! For the original DA, the generally agreed strategy is to go from Escort to Extractors to Outlast to optimize your timing. I’d also recommend grabbing the Quarters key partway through your Escort since that one’s not too far away from the beaten path.
Massively respect your choice John. You’re the reason I keep coming back to this channel not zombies. My personal favourite video from you has been the persona 3 retrospective. Hope to see more deep dives into differing games of your liking!
Another absolute UNIT of a video to binge repeatedly as i really love the long review type videos you put out. I don't even own most CoD games past Cold War due to "no money" , so the reviews feels like i played the game without playing the game.

Signalis is comfortably one of my favourite games to have come out in the last few years. I could listen to hour-long vids on the game as whole because it's such an interesting game no matter how you look at it. Wherever the future takes you though, best of luck.

Side note if your using the Aether blade while in the Opal palace you can get it stuck on the edge of the scaffolding. It won't come back to your inventory and will spin without killing any enemies and even if you leave to the Dark Aether it will disappear from your hud. I've had it done more then once so be aware of that bug.

hey wonder what happened to that part about sker? :3 cause for someone who said their devs listen to people and their community is actually NOT infighting, and then 180s and goes "they're using AI no sker video now" soooo turns out the "AI" they used were for placeholder menu images until they could get in contact with the person who was supposed to design the ACTUAL menu icons due to issues with them not being able to contact the devs for a few weeks. and have confirmed they are replacing the AI menu icons with actual art now.

If this is your last zombies video you're going out on one hell of a bang. Regardless of what your content is after this I'll be watching. The way you do your videos and combine with your humour (mimic spam mimic spam mimic spam) while detailing everything in such a ridiculously in depth way is fantastic. Doubly so cos i personally struggle keeping my attention focused on long videos but somehow you just bypass that lmao. Keep on keeping on dude.
I think the best way is to get Death Perception and look for her that way, that or throw the Aether Blade around until you see the Armor icon next to your crosshairs, she's the only one inside the warehouse who won't die to the blade so you'll find her that way. Also, the best way to kill any warlord (except Dokkaebi) is to rush them, hug them and stunlock them with the Tesla Storm. 1:29:21
Keres was the first proper warlord I went against. (Solo btw) I barely managed to fight through the outside forces and get into the warehouse. Once I was in there I spent a good 10 minutes blindly running around the smoke and killing grunts, only surviving off the gas masks I salvaged. I didn’t even see the boss before I died.
To answer your question about why the vehicles have fuel
It’s a holdover from DMZ where as a balancing choice to prevent players from just driving in circles for 5 minutes with vehicles to evade player hunt contracts they would be forced to stop for fuel every now and then

Fantastic video! I really only play MWZ every few weeks nowadays to grind out double xp/battle pass tokens and to play the latest story missions (when they release every 25 years) but this was a really fun watch. You put an insane amount of effort into the visual department, mad respect. I saw your pinned comment about the elitism in zombies and yeah I agree. While I haven't lost my love for the mode, far from it, it has kinda killed my interest in engaging in the zombies community because if you say you like anything past BO3 you're public enemy number 1. Shame the community is filled with this elitism (and the casual bigotry towards the LGBT).

Particularly those during boss phases in warzone firefight, like anyone remember fighting like two Warden Eternals, and just as your gonna kill one of the wardens, one of the watchers fills the warden health fully rather than partically?

Speaking as someone who tried MWZ during one of the free trial periods, it was a tad fun but it wasn't my kind of gamemode and also the mercenaries annoyed me to no end as a solo player. Skill issue, I know, but hey different strokes for different folks.
