Love Dimash in anything he sings. So talented. If you watch some of Dimash interviews he's all about peace & love in all of the world and no wars. To love and take care of the children. His first 2 concert money was donated to children's homes & hospital. When Covid fist came upon us part of his country and other places that was having a hard time getting food and supplies in he sent truck loads of supplies in. He visits the children hospital and homes all the time. Donates to schools and especially school of arts and music.

Dimash seems to manage to bring everything together in every performance. whether it is the words or actions, his voice or stage presence. His ability to speak/sing in different languages, play so many instruments......I am sooooo happy I found Dimash. I am very definitely one of his 'dears'.
In The Story Of One Sky he composed and sang the whole soundtrack himself. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In composing, in singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. OMG he is such a phenomenal actor. Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife and unborn child were also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. In this video you can see how the main religions are represented mostly with his voice. Islam with the type of Arabic melisma (unfortunately I don't know the correct explanation for this type of singing), Buddhism with the monks and the enchanting "Ohm", Judaism with the shofar and the Christian church with the soprano singing, which often can be heard in churches. I've heard him speak about his pain and anger over war, so I think he has access to a lot of real emotion for a scene like that....

This was absolutely supposed to be a sledgehammer to the heart. He didn't pull any punches and he didn't try to save himself either. He said afterwards that acting this role took a great deal out of him emotionally. I know that they joked on set of the MV Okay that he should have the Oscar but with this one he proved it's true. He would make an incredible actor and hopefully his latest project as voice actor for an animated Chinese film is just the first step to him taking on his first movie role.

Love Dimash in anything he sings. So talented. If you watch some of Dimash interviews he's all about peace & love in all of the world and no wars. To love and take care of the children. His first 2 concert money was donated to children's homes & hospital. When Covid fist came upon us part of his country and other places that was having a hard time getting food and supplies in he sent truck loads of supplies in. He visits the children hospital and homes all the time. Donates to schools and especially school of arts and music.
Art is SUBJECTIVE, and to me, when Dimash is walking at the end, he’s already dead, walking away with the rest of the messengers from around the world.

Dimash seems to manage to bring everything together in every performance. whether it is the words or actions, his voice or stage presence. His ability to speak/sing in different languages, play so many instruments......I am sooooo happy I found Dimash. I am very definitely one of his 'dears'.
In The Story Of One Sky he composed and sang the whole soundtrack himself.
The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In composing, in singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it.
He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay.

As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is.

Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife and unborn child were also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace.
In this video you can see how the main religions are represented mostly with his voice. Islam with the type of Arabic melisma (unfortunately I don't know the correct explanation for this type of singing), Buddhism with the monks and the enchanting "Ohm", Judaism with the shofar and the Christian church with the soprano singing, which often can be heard in churches.

Btw, Dimash has received an award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song there in connection with the congress before the premiere. Can you imagine, a Muslim receiving an award from the head of the Catholic Church. How wonderful is that🥰.

Dimash worked on this for 3 years. He wrote the screenplay, composed the music, sang and acted. This was a labor of love for him as he wanted to share the message of the need for peace with the world. This is a masterpiece.

I've heard him speak about his pain and anger over war, so I think he has access to a lot of real emotion for a scene like that....

This was absolutely supposed to be a sledgehammer to the heart. He didn't pull any punches and he didn't try to save himself either. He said afterwards that acting this role took a great deal out of him emotionally.
I know that they joked on set of the MV Okay that he should have the Oscar but with this one he proved it's true. He would make an incredible actor and hopefully his latest project as voice actor for an animated Chinese film is just the first step to him taking on his first movie role.
