I absolutely loved this book! It was so different from what I was expecting but amazing all the same!
I just read this over the weekend and I would wake up in the middle of the night and have to read another chapter. I friggin' loved it. I am totally smitten with Tor and Kenzi. If this ship were really I would try to crash it because I would want to be Tor. But so good Tor and Kenzi totally perfection!!!
One of my favorite book ever
I loved this book so much. You know a book us amazing when you are thinking about it for weeks after you read it. I totally agree with your review. The love story aspect is so good and well written. The relationship felt so effortless as it evolved from friendship to romance. It did feel kind of taboo in the beginning . The emotions that both the leads have are so pure and unconditional that it did bring me to tears esp when she receives the message in the bottle with the penny. I also love the flash back to the past at each chapter. This book gave me the feels.... swoon 💞
Carian cole's writing is so amazing and heartwarming. I am currently going through all her books. I highly recommend talon which i just finished. It's a great story about two people who are scared to take a chance on love even when they know that's what their heart craves.
I just finished this book yesterday and I absolutely loved it. I agree with many of your thoughts and is always great to see someone who reads the same books I do.

I loved this book! And no cringe factor. Absolutely loved it
I'm about 3/4 of the way through this amazing. Carian Cole does it again with another winner. I knew she would take what could be uncomfortable circumstances and turn it into one of the most beautiful and romantic love stories ever written. Carian has become one of my top favorite authors ... I loved her Ashes and Embers series. Torn is definitely a must read. OK, gotta go ... have to finish this amazing book tonight.
