Hi, all! I understand that these topics receive the least attention in the English-speaking world, yet I chose to create them regardless. I firmly believe they deserve recognition and exploration. While this episode will likely draw even fewer views than the first, as I mentioned in my previous letter, I am fully committed to giving my all to this final project. If you’d like to support my work financially and help me continue creating content like this, you can click the "Thanks" button. Your support means the world to me!
You always do an amazing job making these fabulous documentaries!! I truly admire your fantastic work and all the hard work efforts that you put in!! By the way, you did a great job making this highly educational video, but I also would like to add up a few more details into your topics: 1) Persia was also completely Arabanized by the occupying Muslim/ Arab rulers after the Arab-Islamic conquest of Persia. However, Persians fought back against the occupiers and eventually drove the Arabs out of modern day Iran. And that’s why and how, we managed to restore and revive our Persian language, culture and heritage. 2) The early Islam was indeed influenced and inspired by the Persian religion of Zoarastrianism. For instance, the concept of heaven and hell originally comes from Zoarastrianism, which predates almost all Abrahamic religions. The 5 times prayer in the day also comes from Zoarastrianism. 3) The script that today is mostly known as Arabic was in fact initially and originally written by the ancient Assyrians and it’s derived from the ancient Aramaic language. The only true old Arabic script was written in the ancient Yemen, which eventually moved to the Ethiopia and Eritrea.

This is my favorite youtuber. It's admirable to be able to make such a great documentary through one's own efforts, so comprehensive and thorough, with a variety of subtitles and audio tracks. I would like to call Jinwu the "holyman" of this era
I'm from Kyrgyzstan. Had this stereotype that if a person is from Persian culture then he/she is Shia muslim. Was very surprised to meet people from Tajikistan and learn that they are Sunni Muslims. Very detailed research and informative content. Most of us think that there was this Talas war, where Turkic tribes with Arabs fought against Chinese, and thus began spread of Islam among Turks. But I was not convinced. How tribes who practiced Shamanism/Tengrianism for centuries could in so short span of time convert to Islam. But this video informed me a lot about waves of Turks converting to Islam.
Well yes Iran is majority shia but not all of Iranians are shia, also Persia became a majority shia very late in Islamic history and it was by Arab shia scholars efforts at the time of the safavids that it became that way, you find it interesting that Turkic Azerbaijan has a majority shia also
@Jingwushow Great work man love it I'm an Arab shia we don't have nationalist tendencies towards our brothers in Iran, also regarding your explanation about the split between shia and sunni about the word mwla about Imam Ali, they use the same word in another hadith referring to their leaders but when it comes to Imam Ali it become just friend 😁
Hi Jingwu, your content and storytelling is outstanding. As a Chinese living in California, I feel so happy to learn to about Asian Civilization. I wish all your content are taught in our school so that Asian children have more knowledge about their history.
Thank you for your amazing work Jingwu! Watching your video makes my day and I always learn so much. Your storytelling is really captivating and I can't wait for the next one. Thanks for everything and wishing you a happy new year! 😁🙌💪
As someone who seek knowledge, you've become my source of inspiration. The last two episodes on the 7 stans are the pinnacle of your work and I'm sadden to hear that they will be your last because you're an independent journalist and find it financially unsustainable without major sponsors and today's younger generations with shorter attention spans preferring short TikTok contents. This is a major blow to your followers too. I can only hope that a sponsor who doesn't interfere with your work can be found and your passion will not be extinguished. I admire your work greatly and hope to see your great work again soon. Thank you so much Mr Jingwu for all the excellent videos you have produced so far. I'll continue to forward your videos to my friends.
Thanks for the kind wishes! To make better shows, a team, and steady funding are needed. Pretty sure I can make a deal with some platforms. Thanks for watching!
As someone from the Far East and as a Muslim. I can not thank you enough for your dedication and the resources you spent in creating these videos. Many TH-cam channels attempt to explain these topics, but you stand out by taking us directly to the sites and conducting extensive research to make this complex history much easier to understand. As someone deeply interested in the history of Eurasia, I consider your channel one of the rare gems left on TH-cam and the internet, which are increasingly filled with low-quality content. Happy New Year, Mr. Jingwu! I don’t know how to adequately express my gratitude for your incredible works.
You are welcome, friend! Yeah, on-site filming means a lot to me and this channel. I do not believe in armchair research, LOL! Thanks for watching and liking this show!
I’m so glad TH-cam recommended me your channel and video. Best content I had seen in a while. The combination of great narrative, the clips, the story telling, the deep dive into religion and culture makes this video one of the best videos ever on Central Asia.
Amazing work and content as always! I started following you since your "Russian Chinese" and "The Three Mongolias" series. This is peak documentary work! Thank you very much.

Jingwu Show, thank you so much for this amazing documentary 🔥🔥🔥. I am from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿. Your documentary is clear, complete, and unbiased. For example, when talking about Islam, you didn’t just criticize it like many Westerners do. Regarding the Mongol Empire, you didn’t only cover its formation and conquests but also explained well how it fell, how it was divided into four khanates, and what happened to them afterward. Thank you very much for visiting Kazakhstan 🇰🇿🔥🔥🔥. Shymkent is my hometown. I apologize if there were any inconveniences during your visit to Kazakhstan ❤. Your discussion of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi and the fall of Otyrar shows deep research 🔥🔥🔥. I hope you will cover the Battle of Talas (Atilaq) in 751 in your future work. Wishing you success in your endeavors 🔥🔥🔥.
Battle of Talas was very briefly mentioned in Part One but didn't get much coverage as I forgot to film the old battleground in Taraz. Anyway, thanks for watching and enjoying my work. I enjoyed Shymkent a lot. Kazakhstan is a wonderful country to travel to. I had a great time!

The fall of the Sassanid Empire really reminds us of the parallelism with the Song Dynasty in China. At 4:00, I may also add that the Plague of Sheroe was an important factor in its decline in facing the upcoming Arabs. Poverty was actually not so serious in Sasanid, considering the wealth accumulated (re: plundered) after the war with the Byzantines.
Thanks for the analysis! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Please Mr. Jingwu make a video about the Sumerian-Akkadian-Babylonian-Assyrian civilization, because their civilization is the inventor of the time system that we use until now. And there are many mysteries of this civilization that have not been revealed🙏
Interesting video! If you don't mind me asking, can you provide a list of your sources so we can read more about what you spoke about in your video? I did not see any in the description. Thanks!

When Timur was trying to fight Ming Dynasty, what triggered the conquest? What shape and form was Ming dynasty in (was it still are it peak or is already in decline)?
A little fix to your work. As you mentioned Chinggis Khan devided his army into 3 wings and Jochi his the elder son was to invade Syrdaria river cities and then Conquer Kwarezm and Urgench while Chinggis Khan and Tolui passing through Ferghana valley to siege Samarkand and Bukhara. The reason why Jochi came from the north is that at that time he already took over Desht I Kipchak while pursuing Merkits up to the west to Emby river, and Jochi was already named title Khan by the tribes that used to inhabit this steppes (tribes such as: Bashkir, Kipchak, Bayaut, Uimaut, Muiten and on and on) so that's why there is his tomb in Ulytau region in Kazakhstan and the fact that his was named title Khan wasn't liked by his father Chinggis. Also the fact that they came from the north through Karakum deserts surprised Kwarezmians cus Kipchaks that inhabited steppes in North defected to the Mongols so that's why Muhammed Shah ordered his generals to enter cities and fight mongols only behind the cities walls because he was affraid that Kipchaks mercenaries in his army would also betray kwarezmians. I feel like I also have to mention that so called "Kwarezmians" as well as Seljuks are Turkmens or Oghuzes or Ghuzes, whatever you call them they are still Turkmens/Oghuzes, not Kiapchaks as some say, not Karluks, not anybody but Turkmens.
I wonder why South Asia lost it influence on central asia after about 9th century; and i wonder why the great emperor Genghis Khan didnt invade India instead of turning towards middle east; If he did it would have given rise to more Buddhist Mongol kingdoms like we saw with Kushans or Scythians cuz how brutal the non Muslim steppe armies were they always mingled with local culture by time.

Greetings from a Turk!

Interesting! I’ll look into this when I have time.

@@CCPJAYLPHAN1994 will never happen. Buddhists can not even have an independent Tibet. How are they gonna spread Buddhism back in CA? Laughable
Who is we?
@@CCPJAYLPHAN1994 never gonna happen. You should think about gaining independence for Tibet first from communist China.
佛教不是侵略性的宗教,歷史上只有滅佛運動,而沒有因為佛教而把其他宗教信仰消滅的,這是佛教徒的信仰
I like this video but please, don't put the drawings thats show Prophet Muhammed PBUH face.
Every religion which get widespread worked against humanity irrespective of that there books says.
