My beautiful home town! I come back occasionally, the last time it was September 2022. How disappointed I was to see the poor state of the buildings in St Peters Street. The town needs a local society to fight for its rights rather than leaving it up to Grantham to preserve its wonderful heritage, which brings in the tourists. The town is unique and should be cherished. OK no jobs - but most youngsters these days fly the nest to make their fortunes and don't give a backward glance to their roots. Spent just over 2 and a half years living there in the late 60s try to go back for a visit at least once a year
