Just a note guys: if you search for the regen in the right league and you don’t see the player, don’t panic, sometimes they can be free agents. Use the same search terms and look in the free agents and they’ll be there.

I'm most of the times lucky with CR7, but Messi was always 1* skills and weak foot for me except for my latest career with Ajax where he has at least 3* with both, well maybe I'll start using savegames too

Save the game the day before the season ends and then reload again that save, so that you have to wait for the new season to be loaded again Daniel

keyring111 striker regens are AIDS. Always weak regardless of height, fast, good at dribbling and sometimes even decent at free kicks but hilariously bad finishing 😂 midfielders are usually nutty though. Lots of shorter players with Fekir type physiques and great reactions/composure, unlike anyone you'll find in the youth academy.

Also a good tip that I want to add. If you just watched this and your favorite players have retired a couple years before, no problem. The regens will be in their early to mid twenties and likely already play for their national teams, so you go to team sheet, then import team sheets, and look for instance for the Portugese and Argentinian national team and you will more than likely find CR7 and Messi’s regens on their exact position in the field. I do both regens and youth. Messi is barely retiring in my career at 37 but for some weird reason I’ve had moments where it kicks out a player of mine out of random when I bring in a new one or buy a player. I bought a player and kicked Messi out of my team and now he’s retiring in the free agents haha but I was lucky enough to get Messi’s pregen which is a 92 currently but unfortunately 1 star skill moves It kills me! But also besides pregens and regens I have a lot of youth players so actually are in the team with potential to be special. Just keep on scouting the same countries or go to Low Countries and a lot of youth with 88-94 or 92-94 come out of there

How can you tell if a player retired? Is he then removed from your transfer hub, and does that happend when the season ends?

Put the older players in your shortlist. On the season that they want to retire, the game should tell you that you cannot approach a retiring player.
Back with FIFA 16 I had a 5-star skill move and 5-star weak foot Zlatan regen with high/high work rates and 90+ sprint speed... but I was fine with using the Robbie Keane regen over him
i got a question, on my career in PC i can't sign players until the very next year they appear.. a text shows saying "the layer has joined the club recently" or something...
By the way, how you created your own team ,added it to the game and using it at career mode?

I got a Modrić regen - with 3*Weak foot , 5* skill moves , 5'11 , Right foot , High AWR , Medium DWR. I think that's good.

the face ID is linked to the player ID as far as i know so i don't think you can have his face. however, you could change Messi name and age so that he is 17!

One question...is the potential of regens the same as the highest rating of players in fifa 18 or as the rating at their prime? For example if i get a regen from ribery...is his potential 86 (fifa 18 rating) or arround 90 (fifa 14 rating)
You get it +1 overall from the start of your career mode (i.e. If Ribery was 86, his regen could reach 87)

You can them easy everytime you start a new season check your free agents an there they are sign them quick if u want them tho as other teams will sign them

No you can still find them you don't need to shortlist, i just find it easier

What do you mean by reload the game? Like just shut down the game and turn it back on or ?
Big Smoke no save the game before they are about to retire then after they retire check the regents to see if it has good height,skill moves etc if your not happy with your regen just go back to the save and you can have a new regen. It’s all about patience to get a insane regen but it shouldn’t take to many tries tho

Sorry is it possible maybe you could do a video sometime about Pro Clubs to see and show if thats broken i love the idea of pro clubs but i feel thats the most broken mode in fifa and its not just me my friends and family think the same how we can demolish legendary difficulty yet pro clubs we have a difficult time and the teams we play against just simply run straight through without a problem like theyre playing beginner difficulty

Use savegames when scouter brings you the new players , and load if you don't like the players.2.Use scout future star and use savegames cause it can bring you players with 75 potential.3.Hunt regens. 4.Look at difficult clubs in your league , and scout players5.Make a savegame when transfer windom opens , and at deadline day top transfers look if is something which you need , if is load thd game and buy him before

i wouldn't suggest changing his 'attacking work rape' but no unless on PC you cant change / improve 'Work Rates' unfortunately

Thanks man, but I have a question to ask, in my Real Madrid career mode I have gone far enough for Ronaldo to retire, so anyways to players came up one a free agent who was 62-65 overall 19 years old, whilst the other was 75 19 years old and in the French second division. Is it possible that the 2nd division players is the regen??? He seems to be much better then the free agent one, and non spawned who were playing in La Liga

Also Regens are opposite footed as their originals. For example Ronaldo's regent will always be left-footed, Messi right, etc.
