Today I am 25 years old and he has turned his life around in the last year, he is back on his feet, trying to recover all the lost years with his sons. As a grown man, I can tell you that, I lost my dad when I was 2 - to alcoholism. I never knew the guy. Absolute broken family stuff. Men, do not do that to your kids, wife and family. Drink, enjoy yourself, but there is a line where you need to be the best man you can be. That's your responsibility. That's on you. Make your kids proud of you. Show them how good life can be with a loving dad
Coming from the same back round and experiencing the same feelings not just from the past but myself as a young parent doing the same to my son. Guys you just help to see me how you can fall in the same steps as your parent's past. Thank you for helping me realize this.

I'm 25 and I went to rehab for alcohol and drugs when I saw the video i thought of my dad instantly l. Wish we could both be sober together.
My dad got sober but I'm still struggling and it's heart breaking.. don't know how much time is left to spend with him.
