Yes, who indeed? They are not Gods. They are mere mortals who should not have lifetime appointments, and there must be checks and balances that include the Supreme Court.

That's an easy question... There aren't any rules for the Supreme Court. The only check on the actions of a Justice is impeachment and conviction by Congress.

Needs to recuse himself from any Jan 6 th court. Someone has the role to initiate that process. Someone in our Congress and or the ethics committee must act now

I also feel strongly that conservative justices ought to remain true to their values and speak for individuals that are firm ending abortion. Yes then the minority groups would sue state and have the supreme court review lawsuits. I don't view the current problem - as once again - a vicious or senseless circle, rather, a timeline has arrived where there ought to be an even number of liberals and conservatives in the supreme court and rule on the matter of abortion that reflects what the majority of Americans want. I don't think that's a good idea. Justice should be blind, not subject to vote. Our justices should not be worried about what popular opinion says, but what the Constitution and the law says.
Some of these justices in the last several months have been missing from key hearings. No explanation they just weren't available for hearings. I'm wondering if behind the scenes Justice Roberts is telling these justices.Hey there's a conflict of interest, go to your office. We may never know why those particular justices weren't involved in hearing a particular case, But if that is how they're choosing to resolve it I think there's movement in a positive direction

Biden has a cabinet that is full of people working behind the scenes. It’s about clean air and water, health care, minority rights, women’s rights, schools, housing, etc. If the Republicans win the Presidency, House and Senate they will implement policies that will hurt minorities the most. This is not the time to vote based on your “personal feelings “ it’s about survival and caring about your community, families and yourself.
