      @Shep Raynham These wildfire in the Wirral are not comparable to the Australian, or Greek, or US, or Amazonian, etc... wild fires. Really, no comparison whatsoever. For one the scale is much smaller and the other thing is that these are 100% caused by human error (or deliberate arson) and not climate change, which is what Sarah is probably (maybe?) referring to. and these marshes will grow back in a jiffy. Apples and Oranges my dears.

    • @frankhyland6333

      @Shep Raynham This was not a wildfire caused by nature, it was deliberately started by teenagers for fun. Unfortunately these well brought up shits are tomorrows parents.

      Tf you mean terrorism? It was arson for sure, but terrorism means that people would be dead and the country in shock. People on the east coast or down south will forget this ever happened.
      Also I doubt they're gonna convict 13/14 year old lads for terrorism.

    Hard to think that this was once a middling sized port, that could have been Liverpool had it not been for silting of the Dee.

    • @yeahbut...2154
      @yeahbut...2154 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Some crossed wires it could never be a port due to its location on the dee what it did do however was to be the location of decoy docks for Garston docks.

      @Falstaff 1893 Yes, landowners burn off mature heather to help rear grouse for the gentry to shoot. Apparently they burn off old mature heather to allow tender young shoots to come through for grouse to feed on the fussy buggers as they are! Occasionally fires get out of control. On top of that you have arsonists who think it's fun to set fire to mooland along with ground nesting birds and other vertibrae too slow to get out of the way. Makes you sick really!
