I've been through airport customs lots of times, in the UK and overseas. It's a high-security area: Risks of bombs, illegals, imported drugs, imported weapons. I never refused a search. I never punched a female officer in the head. I was never thrown to the ground or kicked in the head. Unwise actions involve consequences.

A traveller who refuses a search might be carrying weapons, drugs or a suicide vest. A traveller punches a police woman in the face. It's vitally important to prevent a person from flicking an ignition switch. Proactive policing at the Manchester Arena would've prevented the explosion.

My main concern is that the officer gets justice and is totally exonerated.
