you were definitely smart to break up the time 😅 I just did my first 24 hour readathon & tried to read for 24 hours straight 😂 definitely made it way harder on myself than I needed to, but I love seeing these readathon vlogs! happy reading 💞
When I think about how long it takes me to write a thriller and then I see you devour them in hours… aaaah! I need more hours in a day! 😅 But seriously, great video 👍 I loved The Silent Patient too and am now not so sure about reading the Maidens…
That’s why I feel so bad when I don’t like someone’s book because I know how much effort it took 😫. Thank you for liking the video. I’m literally going to buy one of your books!
I've read 6 Lisa Jewell books, including TSWG(4.0) and they've all been solid thrillers 👍🏽 I've only read NEVER LIE(4.5) by Freida McFadden and really enjoyed and can't wait to read more of her books! The Kind Worth Killing(4.5) was such a great read 🤗 I also gave Rock, Paper Scissors 4 stars... I've enjoyed Alice Feeney{Daisy Darker(4.5) & His & Hers(4.25)}
thank you for this video i was looking for some good thrillers to read and i will definitely now look into some of the ones you recommended. Also "Then She Was Gone" reminds me of actual criminal page where a girl went missing [baby] or they suspected there was a fire in which she died but mom claimed the window was open and she did not leave it open, so someone must have take the baby. It was never investigated as police decided that baby died in fire. But years later she meet [think it was her ex-husband new wife? sorry cant remember details] anyway there was a party and there was a little girl of age the baby would be now and the mom claimed it is her daughter... and well there are podcasts about this case if you wan't to find out if she was or not and what happened, but yeah it just really made me remember this case now ;)
Wow. I did not even know about that which is insane because I am a huge true crime fan. Thank you so much I will be looking into it because I’m interested now!
I thought ‚then she was gone‘ sp boring, I guessed the plot by just reading the blurb so I was disappointed by it. And I really think it’s not reaaaallly a thriller it was just.., kind of sad the whole plot but at no page I was on the edge or scared
I agree. It’s not really a thriller I guess “mystery” would be correct because you’re trying to figure out why the little girl looks like Ellie maybe? But I definitely changed my opinion after thinking about it. It’s 2 stars for me now 😂
I'm glad i'm not the only one who didn't really enjoy The Maidens(i gave it one star🥲). Like you said the twist was unexpected but that doesnt necessarily make it a good twist, i felt it was kinda cheap. I also found the plot and characters so boring and also 'the maidens' didn't even feel relevant at all to the plot :)
The way in every timelapse you pick up the blanket so your dog can go under is SO CUTE!!!
Haha he absolutely loves sleeping under the covers 😂
Bro you read FAST😂
I thought I was a slow reader but I guess not 😂
@@cyans.shelvesare you kidding me it takes me days to finish a book
