Great Movie!! Brought back very fond memories of times I was privileged to be part of the Griffith Family times spent on their farms in Custer County, My Uncle Sherman Griffith had a farm up in the Gates area and at the age of 7 or 8 he allowed me to drive the John Deere Tractor pulling the hay wagon while they picked up the smaller bales by hand and hook. Memories of helping to brand the calf's and helping to feed the cattle. Loved all these great memories from my young to High school years in Broken Bow. I am now a 67 year old man, retired, and living in Fort Collins Colorado as this is where God has brought me for retirement. Thank you for making this film!!

I very much enjoyed this. I love that the ranchers/farmers are the ones that still hold so true to their loyalty toward each other, something the world needs more of. I also can see the love and respect they have for their cattle and animals. God Bless the ranchers and farmers.

This film is absolutely breathtaking. The cinematography truly captures the beauty that exists in what many think is a "flyover state." And the storytelling of life in small town Nebraska is both touching and compelling. I can't say enough good things about it. Love love love it.

It's cool to see someone taking the time to make this. I've spent my whole life less than an hour from where this takes place. The aerial shots are amazing! And the focus on the people is the best part!

Thank you for this beautiful film. I was fortunate to spend a day with folks at a branding and a meal in the area and although it was more than 20 yrs ago, Er maybe close to 25, or more....I am pretty sure I remember some of the names including Patty who may have helped Peg with the meal. One of the best days of my life. (Plus I spent the first four yrs of my life in NE so I do have a soft spot for that beautiful state and people.)

There are thousands of these type of family farm and ranch operations in this country. Some small, some large. God Bless them all, generation to generation. No matter what the condition of the world, feast or famine, war and pestilence, they will be there. But politicians and others can really hurt them. The youngsters working here aren't shooting people with their automatic pistols or rioting. They don't have anywhere to riot or anyone to shoot. Hard, but satisfying work is their heritage.

Fantastic video. I live not too far away from this area. I have been accused of directly saying what I had to say. It’s nice to know that it is a common trait here.

talking about four wheelers as they run a bunch of cattle through the fence. bunch of fools real ranchers use horses to keep cattle calm. quads just get them hot if you are running cattle around you are loosing money we get paid by the pound.

Unless the climate changes direction, ranches will be gone within 100 years, though it maybe caused by global conflict and environmental collapse.

More likely we will adapt I say we cause I raise cattle in North Dakota and I've worked on ranches from north Dakota to Washington state down to Utah and over to Kansas now global conflict can very much be the undoing but climate isn't gonna be a deciding factor people raise cattle on desert and in jungle it's just adapting to your climate
