As a career artilleryman, there is a reason why the Dual-Purpose Improved Conventional Munition(DPICM) and copperhead(laser guided) were developed for artillery in the 70's. Without a direct hit, the round would fail to put the tank out of operation. That said, an HE shell landing next to a tank would: 1. Rip off antennas destroying communications. 2. Shatter glass periscope viewports greatly reducing the tanks vision. 3. Deafen and stun the crew with both overpressure and a hard jerk in the tank. (the main reason tankers wear padded helmets while in a tank is to protect against this time of injury) 4. If on the sides, the track would almost definitely be damaged enough that it would be undrivable. 5. Weaken the armor where the blast occurs making penetration in that area easier. But to be honest, WOT does not come close to realism with hits during gameplay. The fact is, one real penetration into a tank with a shaped charge or HEAT round, and the tank is 90% of the time destroyed. Yes, in WWII there were stories of tanks getting hit multiple times and surviving, but NOT getting penetrated multiple times. With soft bodies in a metal box and molten steal flying around the crew dies, or is at the least incapacitated.
I remember finding some old statistics describing that the average Sherman would get destroyed by, on average, 1.2 penetrating hits. Meaning only 1 in 5 survived the first one.
As someone who drove a SPG while doing my conscript service I can say that the last thing you want to hear is "prepare for direct fire", I know a 122mm HE would do bad things to a MBT but I didn't fancy our chances of getting a shot off if we were in real combat...
As a career arty player, I've always been dreaming of being able to reduce a targets armor rating, at least temporarily. I'd load those shells into my SPG any day, in sharp contrast to these bs AP shells that are basically useless.^^
TBH there is a lot about WoT that isn't realistic for example a tank driving on open ground 100 metres away suddenly disappears because cammo rating say so. It is a pretty game to play though frustrating at times but it looks good.

152mm HE have enough explosives to flip a tank. It would also make a man sized hole to the side of the tank regardles of the track between the detonation and hull of the tank.

LOL I didn't expect to get mentioned by QB directly here. Actually I didn't really mind that you featured CS-63 as it IS an unique tank and tier X is more relevant for most people anyway, but still T-34-1 is one of my personal favorite tank that I'd love more people to notice. The only tier 7 medium with post war soviet style turret, punchy high alpha high pen gun, better stationary camo than most tier 7 lights, and small silhouette which made it hard to hit (and pen). Yes it has a lot of drawbacks as well, but if you manage to learn to deal with them you can turn a T-34-1 into a tank that could excel in any map and any tier. Truly a wonderful smol tank.
Why did you use so many gold rounds? You were top tier and your standard rounds would have been sufficient for nearly every enemy tanks frontal armor. Especially when you were shooting the T28 into its very thin rear armor...
Before buying the T-34-1 be sure to unlock the IS-2 to unlock the 100 mm gun I recommend you should use the Modified Configuration because the tank is literally made out of fuel tanks and ammo racks Yes I always get my fuel tanks set on fire very often and it has crippled ammo rack ....
Would be nice to see. But the tip I would give you: do your research on the tank you're considering. High chance that QB did a tank review on it. I'd make the decision based on that. But that's just me ofcourse
My understanding of HE is that as it explodes, the shrapnel of the shell and the place where it impacted will be spread in a conical shape in the direction of impact. That being the case, it doesn’t make sense how the HE shell did nothing. Realistically, if you shot the ground, you would still do minor damage and module damage. If you shot the tracks of an enemy tanks, it would do more damage and surely damage the module.
Back then HE shell did alot of damage to crew and modules in World of tanks . and some Genius get rid of them so the try hard fuck boiz from clan war could spam hull down tank with lots of gold rounds and ruin the game
The old HE mechanic was pretty accurate for an arcade game like WoT, the new one is more or less how HESH should work. So we had correct HE and incorrect HESH and now we have incorrect HE and correct HESH behaviour.
What probably happened was the shell hit the EDGE of the tracks (front-right ones) and there was no more "tank" left to deal damage to. Edit: though it looks like it hit the turret? which makes no sense as to how it tracked the T-34-1

T-34-1 is such an under rated beast. Last round of buffs to the Chinese Mediums made a good tank better. 568 battles in mine 53.17% WR, Safe Stowage is a must. Something QB did nt mention was it's crazy ( for a medium tank ) camo values, Camo crew / BiA / Camo on the tank is 36% on a stationary vehicle, add food / vents it's better than a lot of Tier 6 lights.
From what I know, SU-152s were tested to be able to destroy enemy Tiger tanks by blowing off their turrets with the powerful 152mm HE shells. So the KV-2's shells should be at least almost as powerful...
yeah, that's what I've read as well. The shell might not penetrate, but the blast of the explosion would dislodge or jam the turret, cause engine failure due to it being almost like a car crash, and other stuff like that.

Some real history for you from an actual former M1A2 tank commander and artilleryman in the U.S. Army with 20 years of experience. The KV-2 and ISU 152 vehicles both used pretty much the same gun in WWII. The actual HE rounds they used were also actual armor piercing rounds as well. They had good velocity with decent armor piercing capability. That is why them two vehicles were devastating when they hit. Imagine an HE round penetrating through your armor and then detonating inside the vehicle. Now you have over-pressuring of the inside of the vehicle. As for all other HE rounds in WWII they did not have much effect on vehicles at all. They were never made to take out tanks. Whet people may argue here is the number of tanks thought to have been taken out in battle. What they fail to realize is that those tanks were hit by thousands of rounds raining down on an area and them selves bein hit by more than one round. I would say it would take 30 to 100 rounds hitting the tanks to finally take them out to the point of being destroyed. HE rounds shot from the tanks themselves were meant to be used on buildings in urban areas. Never were they meant to use against other armored vehicles because they would have very little affect. Also there is no such thing as over-pressure from being hit with any type of HE round. I don't know where people get this stuff. Nor do HE rounds stun the crews of the tanks. If that were the case then just shooting the HE rounds would stun the artillery crewmen from the sheer force of the muzzle blast. It does not and I have shot both the M109 howitzer a 155mm gun and the 8" howitzer a 203mm gun. Never have been stunned. HESH round are very different in function than HE rounds. HESH rounds have a shaped directional charge that causes steel armor to fragment off small pieces on the inside. There is no over-pressuring caused from them either. This is cause from the vibration caused from the HESH round, or you could say pressure wave.

As for the letter, and with my expertise in artillery in the Army, I think that being outside behind a concrete wall is no comparison to being inside a tank. After all artillery was meant for troops in the open or inside buildings. Be thankful that there was a wall there to stop most of the effects of the blast of that 155mm round or he would not have been around to write that letter. As for tanks, let me ask you this. Do tanks reverberate like a bell does? No, they do not! Homogeneous armor does not ring like a bell; therefore, it does not cause this so-called crippling affect you say it does. I would say do your home work before you talk on this subject and tell me I am wrong. I have watched many documentaries of WWII tankers, of all nations, talk about their battles and being hit by other tank rounds and artillery rounds. I have submitted numerous videos showing the ineffectiveness of 150mm HE rounds on tanks to WoT’s. The most egregious video was a Pershing that was hit on top of the turret killing the TC (Tank Commander) and nocking the main gun out. Now here is my assessment of this. The TC had his hatch open and had either his head out or was standing with his upper torso out of the hatch and the round hit on the gun mantle or just behind the gun mantle causing the main gun to be knocked out of bore site or nocked it out of battery. Either way it was quickly repaired and returned to battle. As for the rest of the crew, they were not hurt by the explosion. In all the documentaries not one tanker whether they were American, German, British, Russian or other Nationality did they ever mention such effects after being hit by HE rounds. Not one. Don’t you think that they would talk about such a crippling affect? I think that would be one of the first things I would talk about if it were so bad. Instead, these men were very happy the AP and HE rounds did not penetrate the armor. As for knowing people that went through such experiences, I know a few and I will let you know this now. One of my friends that returned from Desert Storm, the 1991 Iraq war, told me that he and the other 3 crew members did not even know they were hit until the battles were over and they got out of the tank to see rounds stuck in the armor, equipment blown off the tank such as back packs, spare parts, antennas, exterior mounted machine guns, etc… Yes the tanks were a bit newer than those of WWII, but I think the effect would still be the same if it existed. I can also tell you about infantry that have survived artillery strikes and said they were just like your father. But that is like comparing apples and oranges. I had an ROTC instructor that was a Captain and was in the Vietnam war. His job was a tunnel rat, as they called it, and they would go into the tunnels that ran throughout the lands. He told us stories of how them tunnels were booby trapped and how many lost their lives in them. He also told us how he nearly lost his life in such an explosion, and how devastating it was. So don’t mix up the experiences of a soldier outside behind a wall and one that is inside a tank. One last thing, the NBC System does not equalize the pressure inside the tank, it over pressurizes the tank with air that runs through a supper heated coil and then cooled and run through a filter to filter out anything that might have survived the heat. The reason it is over pressurized is to keep the outside air from entering the tank through the many hatches, seals and other areas air can enter the tank. This is how they keep the contaminated air from entering the tank. I did write that I was in the Army for 20 years. About 4 years artillery and 16 as a tanker.
The gun on the T-34-1 is basically the D10T that you'd get on the IS, not the LB-1 that the T-44 has. It was on the T-54 mod. 1 before it got buffed with the T-44
QB, my dearest YT friend, lets talk about KV2 HE grenade thru the historical facts: During WW2 the tanks KV 2 used 152 mm high-explosive fragmentation grenade steel howitzer OF-530, weight 40 kg and a special charge (mass of explosives - TNT or Amatol - from 5,47 do 6,86 kg), the charge obtained from the regular J-536. - The question: is it possible to not penetrate T-34-1 with 6 kg of HE? - Can you even imagine what 6 kilos of HE would do to tank? I was fighting in war in Bosnia 1992/1995. and I saw how "ZOLJA" - portable one-shot disposable 64 mm unguided anti-tank rocket-propelled grenade (weight 3 kg) destroyed T-84 tank (Yugoslavia's version of T-72). Cupola was blown away. By this facts I can tell you my dear friend, WG has completely lost touch with reality and turned the this top game into a children’s party. comparing modern shells with crappy ww2 russian shells...useless. Also a Kv2 was mostly useless and most of the times couldnt hit a stationary vehicle. The red army stopped the production quickly and not many were produce. If wot was realistic, the Kv2 would go 12 kmh in the field and would be destroyed before going anywhere and the aiming time would be like a minute
You're talking about a game with health bars and tanks of several nations versus each other anywhere on earth, it's always been an arcade-style game, not a serious portrayal of armoured combat
Thought QB knew that he skipped the T-34-1 cause it was tier 7. I was still happy we got to see the CS-63 but now I'm even more satisfied that the T-34-1 was included.
i remember playin that t 34 1 it just bounced alot of random shots even to the rear. shots i wouldent think would bounce off it. powerful little thing.

T 34 1 one of my favorite tanks and I surprisingly do well in it, armor can be really trollish at times, BUT the gun is often derpy, it ammo racks a lot and burns occasionally, the 5 degrees of gun depression makes it tough on lot of maps also, but when it works oh boy what fun
The over pressure effect from an explosion of that size would kill the crew If it hit anywhere on the tank it would shear and fracture internal armour and send it flying through the tank spreading anything in its path

to answer this, yes you are correct that the tracks are weaker. just like all modules, they have a hidden amount of HP. when said internal HP is reduced by half, the module turns yellow. In this case, tracks become easier to destroy
The T-34-1 doesn't have the best gun stats but the armor and low profile for its tier 7 omg. Its amazing the gun hits hard and the turret armor you can literally face hug a tier 7 heavy and they can't pen your turret while you can go right through them

Hi Quicky! Just a suggestion, how about doing a poll for what mid tier tank should you play? At least doing it once every week or two weeks, should be fine for the viewers. May be put a poll on Monday and then play the most voted mid tier tank on Saturday or even Sunday.
i've been playing this game for 1.5 years and i really like it but one thing i've noticed so far. every other day i can't hit nothing. all of a sudden you' re best played tanks lose 6 in a row and you're winrate drops 0.1 or even 0.2 in one evening. the day after you can't lose. this of course (as an averadge player) is highly dependend on your team. these "shit" teams are really happening every other day. ever noticed this?
Yes! I noticed it. And when I have good games for my level, more than 3500 dmg, the team loses. After this loss, the next game I do lower than 800 dmg but the team wins.

There are stories about 152mm HE shells hitting Panthers and cracking the armor, but thats more bcz by the end of the war the german quality control went out the window. The steel had a lot more impurities and was not properly treated, thus a very brittle steel. And the germans and british had the best quality steel in the world for the time so its not like they were clueless. But I digress Tldr, a 152mm HE impacting a tank would cause what tank jesus himself said, a "significant emotional event" for the crew. A hit to the side is almost guaranteed to blow the tracks off (mobility kill), a hit on the turret close to the turret ring has a good chance to blast a hole in the deck armor and kill the entire turret crew with overpressure. That and a lot more things, you know the drill
152mm HE shell should incapacitate any tank of that era even landing meters away. WG ruined HE and ruined many tanks and made hull down meta way too OP good luck dealing with any tank that has no turret weakpoints when hull down
@ 9:41 The KV-2 likely hit the outside (LH) track at the front part sticking out of the hull and hence dealing 0 damage as there was nothing behind to damage .. i really don't think the HE changes are a good thing.. there should be a better way to handle the goldspa... he spam against heavy tanks ;-)

t34-1 was my first ever medium tank back i think in 2016 year and i so much love play it ..and now i love 121 ..its so good tank but so much underrated i think ..when you know how to play chinese tanks and understand them ..they are pretty nice machines
The replay sucks, honestly, not much skill, lots of luck and enemies not even acknowledging him. The last enemies played really dumb. And how does he even pack a small repair kit but chooses instead to carry food and half the load of premium ammo. The worst part is that it shows nothing about what makes the tank great, the armor, almost no damage blocked at all... (any tank could have bounced that single, horrendous shot by the T-34-85 aimed way too high) It sucks, period
The worst thing about the stock gun is that it's not even the 85mm from the T-34-85, its the utterly awful S-53, which might just be the worst medium tank gun of tier 6

satisfying when I see small tanks bait greedy heavies and destroyers into ignoring everything else for a chance to get an easy kill, only to end up getting utterly destroyed in the process.
The concussive blast from a 152 hitting right next to a tank would absolutely deal damage to it, at least for older vehicles compared to modern day ones. The shockwave would crumple some of the plating, possibly injuring or killing crew members inside from internal damage, and any shrapnel from the shell could easily launch through the vehicle at such high velocities that they could tear clean holes in one side and out the other. Though that really depends on the angle of impact and the thickness of the armor in question. Just how you could splash the underside of a vehicle with the old HE rules, that's what took out most tanks when it came to artillery barrages. If an artillery hit directly it was game over but if it hit close enough to splash underneath the tank? Well that was only slightly less devastating. The new HE system is garbage for the game and terribly inaccurate to the real world.

Heat or shaped charges dont actually melt the steel, it only melts the copper liner inside the charge

With big enough HE shells, shooting under a tank would kill it IRL, as the shockwave and shrapnel expands into the thin floor.

Something QB did nt mention was it's crazy ( for a medium tank ) camo values, Camo crew / BiA / Camo on the tank is 36% on a stationary vehicle, add food / vents it's better than a lot of Tier 6 lights.

From what I know, SU-152s were tested to be able to destroy enemy Tiger tanks by blowing off their turrets with the powerful 152mm HE shells. So the KV-2's shells should be at least almost as powerful...
yeah, that's what I've read as well. The shell might not penetrate, but the blast of the explosion would dislodge or jam the turret, cause engine failure due to it being almost like a car crash, and other stuff like that.
Perhaps you can do a showcase on casemate tank destroyers and then one on turreted tank destroyers versus a specific nation line ...

Some real history for you from an actual former M1A2 tank commander and artilleryman in the U.S. Army with 20 years of experience.
The KV-2 and ISU 152 vehicles both used pretty much the same gun in WWII. The actual HE rounds they used were also actual armor piercing rounds as well. They had good velocity with decent armor piercing capability. That is why them two vehicles were devastating when they hit. Imagine an HE round penetrating through your armor and then detonating inside the vehicle. Now you have over-pressuring of the inside of the vehicle.
As for all other HE rounds in WWII they did not have much effect on vehicles at all. They were never made to take out tanks. Whet people may argue here is the number of tanks thought to have been taken out in battle. What they fail to realize is that those tanks were hit by thousands of rounds raining down on an area and them selves bein hit by more than one round. I would say it would take 30 to 100 rounds hitting the tanks to finally take them out to the point of being destroyed. HE rounds shot from the tanks themselves were meant to be used on buildings in urban areas. Never were they meant to use against other armored vehicles because they would have very little affect.
Also there is no such thing as over-pressure from being hit with any type of HE round. I don't know where people get this stuff. Nor do HE rounds stun the crews of the tanks. If that were the case then just shooting the HE rounds would stun the artillery crewmen from the sheer force of the muzzle blast. It does not and I have shot both the M109 howitzer a 155mm gun and the 8" howitzer a 203mm gun. Never have been stunned. HESH round are very different in function than HE rounds. HESH rounds have a shaped directional charge that causes steel armor to fragment off small pieces on the inside. There is no over-pressuring caused from them either. This is cause from the vibration caused from the HESH round, or you could say pressure wave.

Sorry to say, but you are so very incorrect, and that is not your fault, you are just ignorant of what you are talking about. As for the letter, and with my expertise in artillery in the Army, I think that being outside behind a concrete wall is no comparison to being inside a tank. After all artillery was meant for troops in the open or inside buildings. Be thankful that there was a wall there to stop most of the effects of the blast of that 155mm round or he would not have been around to write that letter.

No, they do not! Homogeneous armor does not ring like a bell; therefore, it does not cause this so-called crippling affect you say it does.
I would say do your home work before you talk on this subject and tell me I am wrong. I have watched many documentaries of WWII tankers, of all nations, talk about their battles and being hit by other tank rounds and artillery rounds. I have submitted numerous videos showing the ineffectiveness of 150mm HE rounds on tanks to WoT’s. The most egregious video was a Pershing that was hit on top of the turret killing the TC (Tank Commander) and nocking the main gun out. Now here is my assessment of this. The TC had his hatch open and had either his head out or was standing with his upper torso out of the hatch and the round hit on the gun mantle or just behind the gun mantle causing the main gun to be knocked out of bore site or nocked it out of battery. Either way it was quickly repaired and returned to battle. As for the rest of the crew, they were not hurt by the explosion.
In all the documentaries not one tanker whether they were American, German, British, Russian or other Nationality did they ever mention such effects after being hit by HE rounds. Not one. Don’t you think that they would talk about such a crippling affect? I think that would be one of the first things I would talk about if it were so bad. Instead, these men were very happy the AP and HE rounds did not penetrate the armor.
As for knowing people that went through such experiences, I know a few and I will let you know this now. One of my friends that returned from Desert Storm, the 1991 Iraq war, told me that he and the other 3 crew members did not even know they were hit until the battles were over and they got out of the tank to see rounds stuck in the armor, equipment blown off the tank such as back packs, spare parts, antennas, exterior mounted machine guns, etc… Yes the tanks were a bit newer than those of WWII, but I think the effect would still be the same if it existed.
I can also tell you about infantry that have survived artillery strikes and said they were just like your father. But that is like comparing apples and oranges. I had an ROTC instructor that was a Captain and was in the Vietnam war. His job was a tunnel rat, as they called it, and they would go into the tunnels that ran throughout the lands. He told us stories of how them tunnels were booby trapped and how many lost their lives in them. He also told us how he nearly lost his life in such an explosion, and how devastating it was. So don’t mix up the experiences of a soldier outside behind a wall and one that is inside a tank.
One last thing, the NBC System does not equalize the pressure inside the tank, it over pressurizes the tank with air that runs through a supper heated coil and then cooled and run through a filter to filter out anything that might have survived the heat. The reason it is over pressurized is to keep the outside air from entering the tank through the many hatches, seals and other areas air can enter the tank. This is how they keep the contaminated air from entering the tank.
I did write that I was in the Army for 20 years. About 4 years artillery and 16 as a tanker.

The gun on the T-34-1 is basically the D10T that you'd get on the IS, not the LB-1 that the T-44 has. It was on the T-54 mod. 1 before it got buffed with the T-44

During WW2 the tanks KV 2 used 152 mm high-explosive fragmentation grenade steel howitzer OF-530, weight 40 kg and a special charge (mass of explosives - TNT or Amatol - from 5,47 do 6,86 kg), the charge obtained from the regular J-536.
- The question: is it possible to not penetrate T-34-1 with 6 kg of HE?
- Can you even imagine what 6 kilos of HE would do to tank?
I was fighting in war in Bosnia 1992/1995. and I saw how "ZOLJA" - portable one-shot disposable 64 mm unguided anti-tank rocket-propelled grenade (weight 3 kg) destroyed T-84 tank (Yugoslavia's version of T-72). Cupola was blown away.

comparing modern shells with crappy ww2 russian shells...useless. Also a Kv2 was mostly useless and most of the times couldnt hit a stationary vehicle. The red army stopped the production quickly and not many were produce. If wot was realistic, the Kv2 would go 12 kmh in the field and would be destroyed before going anywhere and the aiming time would be like a minute
You're talking about a game with health bars and tanks of several nations versus each other anywhere on earth, it's always been an arcade-style game, not a serious portrayal of armoured combat
Thought QB knew that he skipped the T-34-1 cause it was tier 7. I was still happy we got to see the CS-63 but now I'm even more satisfied that the T-34-1 was included.

T 34 1 one of my favorite tanks and I surprisingly do well in it, armor can be really trollish at times, BUT the gun is often derpy, it ammo racks a lot and burns occasionally, the 5 degrees of gun depression makes it tough on lot of maps also, but when it works oh boy what fun

"Back to full strength". Question: Are orange tracks at all inhibited from full turning speeds or traction? Are they just lower HP for easier detracking?
to answer this, yes you are correct that the tracks are weaker. just like all modules, they have a hidden amount of HP. when said internal HP is reduced by half, the module turns yellow. In this case, tracks become easier to destroy
The T-34-1 doesn't have the best gun stats but the armor and low profile for its tier 7 omg.
Its amazing the gun hits hard and the turret armor you can literally face hug a tier 7 heavy and they can't pen your turret while you can go right through them
it has really everything apart from gun depression, its like a 34-85M on tier 7 but even better

i've been playing this game for 1.5 years and i really like it but one thing i've noticed so far.
every other day i can't hit nothing.
all of a sudden you' re best played tanks lose 6 in a row and you're winrate drops 0.1 or even 0.2 in one evening.
the day after you can't lose.
this of course (as an averadge player) is highly dependend on your team.
these "shit" teams are really happening every other day.

Yes! I noticed it. And when I have good games for my level, more than 3500 dmg, the team loses. After this loss, the next game I do lower than 800 dmg but the team wins.

There are stories about 152mm HE shells hitting Panthers and cracking the armor, but thats more bcz by the end of the war the german quality control went out the window. The steel had a lot more impurities and was not properly treated, thus a very brittle steel. And the germans and british had the best quality steel in the world for the time so its not like they were clueless. But I digress
Tldr, a 152mm HE impacting a tank would cause what tank jesus himself said, a "significant emotional event" for the crew. A hit to the side is almost guaranteed to blow the tracks off (mobility kill), a hit on the turret close to the turret ring has a good chance to blast a hole in the deck armor and kill the entire turret crew with overpressure. That and a lot more things, you know the drill
152mm HE shell should incapacitate any tank of that era even landing meters away. WG ruined HE and ruined many tanks and made hull down meta way too OP

@ 9:41 The KV-2 likely hit the outside (LH) track at the front part sticking out of the hull and hence dealing 0 damage as there was nothing behind to damage .. i really don't think the HE changes are a good thing.. there should be a better way to handle the goldspa... he spam against heavy tanks ;-)

The replay sucks, honestly, not much skill, lots of luck and enemies not even acknowledging him. The last enemies played really dumb. And how does he even pack a small repair kit but chooses instead to carry food and half the load of premium ammo. The worst part is that it shows nothing about what makes the tank great, the armor, almost no damage blocked at all... (any tank could have bounced that single, horrendous shot by the T-34-85 aimed way too high) It sucks, period
my tier 7 medium of choice is the T20. it's also a really good medium for its tier

The concussive blast from a 152 hitting right next to a tank would absolutely deal damage to it, at least for older vehicles compared to modern day ones. The shockwave would crumple some of the plating, possibly injuring or killing crew members inside from internal damage, and any shrapnel from the shell could easily launch through the vehicle at such high velocities that they could tear clean holes in one side and out the other. Though that really depends on the angle of impact and the thickness of the armor in question.
Just how you could splash the underside of a vehicle with the old HE rules, that's what took out most tanks when it came to artillery barrages. If an artillery hit directly it was game over but if it hit close enough to splash underneath the tank? Well that was only slightly less devastating. The new HE system is garbage for the game and terribly inaccurate to the real world.
