The 2027 presidential election in Nigeria may be three years away but some of the political elite in Northern Nigeria who were instrumental for the emergence of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President in 2023 are plotting his defeat in the 2027 presidential election. Under Nigeria's unwritten political arrangement presidential power is rotated between the North and South every eight years. Former President Muhammadu Buhari, a northerner was in power for eight years between 2015 and 2023. In 2023 power returned to the South with Tinubu as the beneficiary and this power is expected to stay in the South till 2031. However the North wants the power back earlier than expected. This video shows the plot the Northern elite hope to use to achieve their objective.

The best candidate was Obi. He was chosen by Nigerians. Buhari and Tinubu and judiciary and cohorts are holding Nigeria to ransom. God is watching.

Both of them should rule for sixteen years
    How.
Obi should lead as President for Four years and Datti for president and Obi as vice for another four years
Every four years both Obi and Datti rotate
Then we will have a solid country.
This is possible when we throw away our religious and regional difference and work base on equity and fairness

Power to the south automatically means power to South west. Yorubas will never consider igbos for anything. Their hatred for igbos is beyond redemption. Working with the north is our best option. Atleast north hated igbos for a reason.

Exactly. Peter Obi should build up his platform based on the block vote of Ibos and their allies, then go into alliance with the North who also have block vote,
after agreeing a power-sharing arrangement. It does not matter what title Obi holds as long as he has a foothold on power and able to push through his ideas
within government. After all, when Yorubas become vice president, they rested the "second fiddle" narrative and started promoting the idea of No.2 man!
That is how politic is played not this permanent enemy nonsense.

At this point in the national political game, there is an overwhelming unity among Tinibu, Atiku, Shehu Sani, Babachir Lawal and, in fact, the entire Northern political Elite. " That an Igbo man cannot be allowed to be president of Nigeria." That leaves Atiku and Tinibu as the only options left. Since the presidency is already zoned to the South, that leaves Tinibu as the only viable option left !!! However, these positions will change when it becomes evident, again, that Peter Obi's political juggernaut is unstoppable. Especially, given the exclusive monopoly he enjoys with Obedient Movement !!!

    • @RadioTV595

      Bro,
Presidency zoned to the south by who? What is south? A I thought "south" was a united block, so if some people decide that a section of the south cannot be allowed to be president, then what should be the appropriate response: reject their stance on the basis of equity or uphold the Igbo exclusion and take advantage of it with glee?Tinubu cannot win anything without alliance with the north, same as Obi.So you need to go and sit down and rework your political calculus. As for Igbos, they must have their turn by whatever title called and that should include alliance with Atiku or any combination of them. Cunny man die, cunny man bury am.

What is this one talking about now? North has rotated power to south. Southwest has had 8 years under Obasanjo; Southsouth has had their turn under Johnathan, when it came the turn o of the Southeast, Tinubu and his tribal gang refused to allow Ibos their turn. Where is the justice in that? Go and tell your sponsors that North will and should take power and stop being so mealy-mouthed. Why is it ok for the Southeast to be denied their turn by Tinubu and his gang?

The plan to lock in the North for Atiku and to bring in Peter Obi as his vice presidential candidate, is a 100% Atiku's idea !!! With PDP completely destroyed, Atiku is now politically homeless. One day he talks to Peter Obi for a merger, which has woefully failed. The next day he talks to Buhari for a Northern Alliance, all to no avail !!! Furthermore, Atiku's selfish disregard for Zoning makes him look foolish !!! The man is finished !!!

Atiku is not finished. Had he and Obi teemed up again in the last election, they would have won overwhelmingly and convincingly, but they foolishly split their votes.
Obi has the game-changing ideas and if the Tinubu gang can want use them, so can Atiku. So Atiku/Obi is the winning formula any day. If Atiku wants the appellation
of president, ok, but Obi will be running the show, actualising his ideas. Also the Atiku/Obi ticket is a sensible way of introducing Ibo presidency to all doubting Thomases
      of the North.

That is debatable. You argued elsewhere that the northern elites do not want Ibo in power-yes or no?
If so, then Atiku/Obi ticket is the sensible way of introducing Ibo presidency to the northern audience in a non-threatening way. It does not matter who has what title as long as there is a power-sharing arrangement which must also include Datti. That is called political horse trading for those able to see politics beyond a kindergaten debating club. Many key northern leaders told Obi the same thing during the last election but he did not take heed.

      Bro,
You are wrong. Not long ago, anyone who wanted to contest election in Nigeria would need to contend with the Igbo factor.
Even Awolowo kept running for presidency with Igbo VP. But the Lagos-Ibadan press soon came up with the narrative that Igbo being VP was "playing the second fiddle". The Igbos bought into the false narrative big time despite a warning from one of their leaders that playing second fiddle is better than no fiddle at all. having goaded the Igbo into rejecting VP, the SW surreptitiously positioned themselves as VP to the North and the second fiddle narrative disappeared mysteriously to be replaced with the euphemistic titles such as no.2 man, next step to aso rock etc. Today, Igbos have been schemed out of all power positions including senate presidency and yet they continue to fall into the trap of all-or-nothing politics, goaded by the SW and their cunning (aka sophisticated ) operators. And you, an Igbo, have dusted up the second "fiddle narrative" to boot.

Talk is cheap. Is the West the owner of Nigeria and if not why should they hijack Igbo turn to be president? My friend, this is a contest for power not a high school debating society stuff. Peter Obi needs to understand political calculus or remain outside of power. There is such a thing called power-sharing and that is what he should do with the Northern power brokers or Igbos should ditch him and present someone else. It does not matter under what title, Obi needs to put his foot on the power door, capture power and implement his ideas.

The chameleons are praising his "analysis" . Typical. So Tinubu should rule for 8 years and hand over to the north to rule for another 8 years.
By then, Ibos would have been forgotten and their interest buried for the sake of what? What a useless, childish talk. How is Tinubu of any use to
any one? Did he allow Ibo to rule or is Ibo not south again? The north should take power ASAP. If Obi is wise, he should work with them too or remain
out of power and heckle. There is nothing called south in Nigeria.
