    I will always treasure the purchase and installation of an OEM factory Honda "Continental Kit" for my new 1980 CB400T Hawk, up here in Canada. Lower bars, beautiful aluminum rearset footpeg plates c/w heim joint shifter linkage, new cables, etc. Opening up that Honda cardboard box full of goodies was just so cool for my 18 year old self to experience. Cheers for sparking that fond time machine memory!

    I just picked up a 79 and turned the crankshaft and with it being in a barn for 30 years and not locked up gives me hope

    That's a great way to install the engine in the frame. Can't wait for new videos.

    Good idea on the Trans jack/platform on supporting the engine to frame mounting.

    You, Sir, have become one of the best of the best on the Internet/TH-cam... And believe me, I know, I watch them ALL because it’s my dream to some day have these skills. I’ve watched this series from the very beginning and the evolution of your videos is exquisite, even down to fixing music and such, which I commented on early. You don’t deserve a couple thousand subscribers, you deserve a couple MILLION, and I believe you will eventually have them if you keep doing what you’re doing. I sure wish I could Skype video-consult with you about once a week for about 15 minutes to get the guidance I need for each next step on my restoration dreams. Watching videos is one thing, but actually pulling the trigger and risking messing up extremely valuable-to-me vintage bikes (I have several awaiting restoration) is quite another thing. I wish I had somebody like you to guide me and give me a “homework assignment” each week for each next new thing to do, and that small bit of video-call supervision that would be enough to keep me from ruining something, on, for example, a small two stroke dirt bike from my childhood that is priceless to me. Keep doing what you’re doing though! I’ll be watching every one for sure! Thanks! 😊😊😊

    Peter is it easier to replace the carbs before you connect the main top engine mounts?

    • @digitalpizza1
      @digitalpizza1  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Peter, yes, the top mounts have to come off when installing the carbs which is why I only have them on hand tight for now to secure the engine until the carbs are ready to install. The engine will be have to be tilted down to install the carbs as you probably know. Thanks Peter
