I look forward to seeing the tractor 🚜 restoration and great job on that huge log y'all make a great team look forward to watching y'all videos all the time
Tyler one of the things I like most with you and Ms. Brit is the use of eye and hearing protection. I have asked machinist and others about at least hearing and never a reply.
With all of the craziness going on in the world, it’s such a blessing to be able to relax and enjoy your videos! I always look forward to watching each video.
I have a Juiblee with the Sherman over/under drive transmission. It's a good running little tractor. I had issues with dirty gas tank, finally got it cleaned out. that's my Sons favorite tractor we use for cultivating. but I like my Massey, it's a big boy with good brakes and power steering which the Juiblee doesn't have.
This is wet lumber, judging from the water pouring out with the saw blade. You want to dry it as flat as possible so you have relatively flat dry lumber to build with. You’ve done a pretty good job spacing your stickers 18 to 24 inches apart, but it appears you only have 2 bolsters under that whole 2 bunks of lumber at the end of the video. And it looks like the middle is sagging, which it would with all that weight and only bolstered at the ends. Tip for you and those at home: start with a good pair of mudsills run lengthwise (which you can level and shim to support) then 4x bolsters across your sills. On a stack as big and heavy and long as this I’d have no less than 4. Your stickers should align over top of your bolsters. Now your stack is well supported and very flat for drying, plus youre not risking dirt/mud getting up under the lowest layer of boards when you get back at it with the forks on your tractor. Love to see you both working together. Thanks for sharing.
It wouldn't hurt, while you're at it to throw a little paint on the old tractor. Even if it's just a rattle can job. While you're doing the mechanical, Ms. Brittany could do the prettying up bit. That'd make for some fun additional video.
I would really like to see you work on the tractor I always enjoy and respect every that you do you do and you both are the hardest working people I’ve ever seen 😁
Oh ya document the tractor upgrade/ maintinence, as long as the equiptment works who cares what it is, got 3 stihls, one is 9 years old and cut about 90 chords of wood. I got a 29$ dollar drill back in 2000 for restoring my 48 F-2, a skill and replaced the cord twice still works, bought it for a burn out, had another skill sander, lasted 30 years before it disintegrated 😂, never know? I was impressed the mill turned that log over even when they sizzored on the turn and I didn't miss that log shake the mill when you set it 🙄 thats a heavy one!😳
Would very much like to see the '53 Ford back in action. First vehicle of any kind I ever drove was a 1957 Ford Workmaster on a Blue Ridge Mountain farm in "Old Virginny", I was only 11 years old. Those were good old days. John from Florida.
By all means, give 'er on the tractor upgrades. You got a lot of lumber out of that. twig....another satisfied customer! Miss Brit is a great worker and partner to have in that operation, can hold her own with anybody. As for the different saw brands, I've run many off brand modles in the '70s- '90s but always came back to Husky, Jonsered or Stihl...old reliables!! Stay safe👍👍🇨🇦🇨🇦 Nova Scotia
Britney did good job intro/narrating as usual. Winter if fo fixing all the stuff you couldn't stop using in the summer. Show us all the chores and projects on the Wallace Farm and Sawmill!
@@wallacefarmandsawmill I will do a review and show videos on my channel. being a sthil guy and now haveing some fun with other brands is interesting for sure.
My neighbor has a Ford Jubilee with the same problem with the fuel tank. Well, it doesn't anymore. I took it off and treated it with a gel that literally cleans all the rust out of the fuel tank. It looked like brand new bare metal when I finished it. I bought this treatment at O'Reilly Auto Parts.
5:55 BTDT I was clearing a tree after Milton recently and when I bound the blade in a cut, the chain jumped off. I took the saw over to the truck and remounted the chain without my glasses on, so it went on upside down. Tried to cut and...nogo.
Now walking behind the plough is not as easy as it may seem. It needs to practise But I know It to but very full-filling from experience But as you get older The ride-along Plow is a much more-Active -prospect. Remember the English walk-along plough had wheels which made the terns much easier. LOL Plow Day Goldsboro, North Carolina
The big John Deere tractors 🚜 aren't what they use to be. Lots of metal fatigue failures. So many parts being made in China. So much of our industry has been outsourced to China. America with all our high overhead, benefits, and taxes have priced ourselves out of so many jobs.
I have posted you an opportunity to learn a bit about ploughing. Yes, fix up your tractor, and remember when you change the front tyres: The old ones, as well as second-hand ones, will work well on the logging cart. Ps. Now To PLOWING PROBLEMS! // Draft Horses Plowing our Corn Field #555
Y'all make any subject worth watching, so yeah...tractor upgrade video is a good idea! Maybe it's just me, but even though the new mill cuts down on the walkin....I swear it looks like it has increased the work after the cuts. I may just be looking at it wrong, or just watched so many of your videos with the old mill, but it seems like the slab dragger on the old mill made things easier. I hope that don't sound critical because that sure ain't how I meant it...but this old guy just don't want you kids to get broke down before your time. Miss Brittney needs to renegotiate her contract to include a back rub every night since she works so hard....lol. I very much enjoy y'all's videos, so keep em coming.
Well sir I like your guy math but here’s how my guy math goes for tools ONE IS NONE AND TWO IS ONE so you order your new saw and your parts to fix your other then you have two 👍🏻👍🏻👌
The only thing is that that Chinese saw uses 32:1 gas oil ratio. I need a separate fuel can for it as my other saw, weed eater, and brush cutter use 50:1.
I look forward to seeing the tractor 🚜 restoration and great job on that huge log y'all make a great team look forward to watching y'all videos all the time

Good day for the Wallace family 😊

Guy math is spot on-why fix the old saw when you can just upgrade and have spare parts on hand? Loving the Thunder Cut nickname too! 😂
It's always good to do a "cat scan" on a new chain saw! :)

That's like putting lawn mower blades upside down.

Would love to see the restoration work. BTW, maybe evaporust(not sure of spelling) in the tank instead of buying a new one.

Good saws

Fix that tractor and make it run as good as my 52 8n for Brittany !
Another awesome video
Assembling a new chainsaw is a puzzle. First time I have seen a Chinese chainsaw 🇨🇦
People yell "buy American " they would be surprised at how many Chinese parts are on their "American " saws
The big John Deere tractors 🚜 aren't what they use to be. Lots of metal fatigue failures. So many parts being made in China. So much of our industry has been outsourced to China. America with all our high overhead, benefits, and taxes have priced ourselves out of so many jobs.
Restore the Jubilee!
Whatever you post is interesting keep up the video
Would love to see Britt in a pair of jeans with the longhorns on the back pockets.
Allow us to see the sawdust pile.
I would love to see a tractor rebuild
You should do sawmill experience holidays and use your bus as accommodation. I’m English when I say holiday. You Americans say vacation 😊
This is an opportunity to check the build on the build o your log arch Kart. What size is my Log arch and stuff?
Do you like the skip a tooth chains that's what I used when I was logging but they kinda hard to find now
12:19 Your new saw got a free cat scan. 😂... I'll see myself out now. I'd love to see the restoration work on the tractor!

I would like you to go for it I watch.
Well sir I like your guy math but here’s how my guy math goes for tools ONE IS NONE AND TWO IS ONE so you order your new saw and your parts to fix your other then you have two 👍🏻👍🏻👌
When making multiple lower cuts without removing the sawn wood, does the weight of the wood have much of an effect on the blade?
Hey you two i like just about all your videos y’all take care
