It’s hard to have a sawmill and not do any logging. I said I would never log again but after I bought a sawmill now I have to log about two days a month. Great video
Hi Brittany and Tyler, The last two logs on the first load could be named Spike and Hairy.🙂I'm also allergic to poison ivy, Tyler. When I was 12, had it all over my body. The itching didn't stop for a week. Was coated in Calamine lotion several times each day. That new grapple makes dragging the logs much easier. Looking forward to another video. Everyone there stay safe.
Thanks for answering the question I was going to ask, great tree felling video. Keep up the great work really enjoying the various aspects of your content. Cheers 👍.
We're glad the snow and cold is gone. I have a question why not get you a standard scale stick, to scale your logs it would be something much easier and faster, with out all the arithmetic ?
I sent you the half face respirators and the P100 filters when I saw you using disposable masks in a recent video. Didn't know what size so sent all 3 in case Brittany needs one. I love the teamwork.
When I use to load logs I would put my trailer perpendicular to the logs and cut down a lot of tractor travel. It was also easier for the truck to take off. Have fun and stay safe!
Brittany - Poison Ivy doesn't seem to bother me much either. I've cut/pulled a LOT of it off of many of the big trees on our 8 wooded acres in north GA. Some of the poison ivy vines at the ground level have been 3" in diameter, with a 4 to 6 going up a large tree trunk. I've cut out a 2 or 3 foot section out of them, and within a year or two the vines way up in the trees have died - and then poison ivy leaves drop everywhere. Lovely. Poison Ivy is in a 3-way tie for the Vine From HELL with wild blackberry brambles and Saw Greenbriar (Smilax bona-nox). I hate them ALL!
Father hen here! Denim is tough but it won't stop a saw chain....get a set of chaps! That China saw seems to work good. The way it turns up and whistles reminds me of the old Husky61. Real nice looking pine logs in that load. Stay safe👍👍🇨🇦🇨🇦 Nova Scotia
Are you guys in the golf coast show event area? Here in east central MN we only have about 4" on the ground. We normally get about 50" during a winter. Two winters ago we got 106" for the winter. That sucked. The last three nights low low temp for the night was less than - 22 degrees and it did not get above zero during the day. That also sucks. Watching you working in tee-shirts is difficult.
Miss Brittney, you are especially beautiful in this episode, I love you for Miss Wrangler Jean winner, Tyler is a blessed and lucky man, I look forward to your posts. Thanks a million.
Like your new intro so beautiful blue sky today i missed here in germany. We don´t have a sawmill we make firewood every year. You need a second chainsaw with shorter chain sword. The tractor is very helpfull for this work a winch is not on your list ?
The Chinese assemble that saw dry. I would suggest that you pull the clutch hub and lube that bearing with Lucas red and tacky, grease same with the chain adjuster. I also suggest 32 to one fuel mixture with semi synthetic two cycle oil. It’ll live a long time now. Thank you.
Talking about not thinking it would be a YEAR....I'm in my 70's and in fairly good health...but do you think I'll live long enough to see the old LOG TRUCK fixed up and hauling LOGS??
It's really important to wear the mask while sawing the poison ivy. I've heard of people getting terrible lung damage from smoke when burning wood that has poison ivy in it. Great video. A question for Tyler and I may already know the answer. Why do loggers always rev the chain saw before actually cutting? Is it to lube the chain?
You can but you don't want to get in that smoke. The urushiol (oil that makes you itch) will be vaporized into tiny droplets and if you inhale that off to the doctor you go.
Please be careful standing close to the logs while loading on the trailer. If they shift and roll off it won't be good. Don't want to see anyone get crushed or hurt. You can make some short bunks out of square tubing. Yall take care and really enjoy watching your videos.
You can attempt to wash it off with soap and water. Because urushiol is an oil, you are better to use something like gojo/fast orange with pumice. Aggressively rub that into the skin. I have used just plain sand. Once is soaks into the skin, it is there.
Brittany, who was holding the camera when you put the tongs on the first log? Tyler, at the end you should put your cap on Brittany so we can see your haircut.
I am hoping that chinese chainsaw does well for ya again . Ive been running stihls for the last several years but i might be looking at trying one of those and saving a few dollars . Everything is pretty much chinese these days anyway .
Thanks!
Glad to see you are getting good use of the logging tongs.
Thanks!!!
It’s hard to have a sawmill and not do any logging. I said I would never log again but after I bought a sawmill now I have to log about two days a month. Great video
Very true!
Dandy days work guys ! Great looking logs for your mill stay safe and well .

Britnay and tyler you both work together very well and you seem to complement each other with allyour projects
You're a smart operator, handling that tractor with 3 logs!
Took years of doing!

Hello from Romania i love this work
The loading is a great job. 😂
Good logging video, nice logs 👍
Thanks! Those logs will sure come in handy.
You made that look easy. I know it was a lot of work. Right frame of mind, business first. Great video. See ya!
Thanks for watching!
Heavy action logging, pretty work, guys!
Hi Brittany and Tyler,

The China saw is sounding throaty!!
Nice work!
Miss Britt, that thumbnail was something!
Hi guys. Those are good looking perfect size pines. ✌️. Great video Brittany 😘
THANKS!
Another great video and two good loads of logs. That’s a good day!👍❤️
I like those tongs, they're pretty cool!
Thanks for answering the question I was going to ask, great tree felling video. Keep up the great work really enjoying the various aspects of your content. Cheers 👍.
You get it done and its colder there than alaska so stay warm
We're glad the snow and cold is gone. I have a question why not get you a standard scale stick, to scale your logs it would be something much easier and faster, with out all the arithmetic ?
We plan to get one soon. Use to have one.
Nice work thank you for sharing
Enjoyed watching your work.
I like the glasses.
Those logs would make great construction lumber. They are nice sized.
I sent you the half face respirators and the P100 filters when I saw you using disposable masks in a recent video. Didn't know what size so sent all 3 in case Brittany needs one. I love the teamwork.
Thanks so much! They will definitely be used! Appreciate you watching all we do!
Just wondering what you do with the slash in the woods.
Leave it to replenish the forest.
See Ya
When I use to load logs I would put my trailer perpendicular to the logs and cut down a lot of tractor travel. It was also easier for the truck to take off. Have fun and stay safe!
They are youngsters...they learn ...efficiency...but you are right...👍
How many acres do you guys operate on ?
How did you choose which trees to cut?
Owner chose.
It's looking like y'all will likely get more ice and snow this coming week good luck stay safe and warm!!!!!
Hell nice work !!!! thats quite a few board feet there
That Chinese saw you bought is bad to the bone! That thing makes some dust quick! Enjoyed y'all working!
It’s working out great!
Looks like a cheaper copy of Stihl but when it´s work great too way not buy the cheaper one.
How is the log truck coming? When is it going to go in use.
Making do with what you got, awesome!!

do you cut the pallet stock out of green pine logs?
Yes

That bent log boom would drive me crazy. I would have to straighten it just saying. 😊
Straightened it already. It’s too weak. Going to build a more robust one.
@ that makes me feel better
I think I would build a set of off bearing ramps for the side of the trailer so the logs don't get too close to the wheels and tires. Just a thought
Helmet cam 👍
Nice logs. What saw is that? What log skidding tongs are those?

Keepin it real!
Good work and looking lovely girl ❤️
😂😂😂 thud! Well the dog seems happy to go some where😊 looks familiar me lots of work, well done 👍 seems our own stuff takes a back seat, it is with us.
Are you going to replant in area that you just harvested logs?
How far is it from loading point to unloading point?
Miss Brittney, you are especially beautiful in this episode, I love you for Miss Wrangler Jean winner, Tyler is a blessed and lucky man, I look forward to your posts. Thanks a million.
That last log on the trailer looks like it has the same barber as Tyler ;-)
Like your new intro so beautiful blue sky today i missed here in germany. We don´t have a sawmill we make firewood every year. You need a second chainsaw with shorter chain sword. The tractor is very helpfull for this work a winch is not on your list ?
Winch is definitely on the list
A good days work.
Love the “W”
I was taught to make my horizontal cut firt, then aim for the ends of that cut with my second angle cut.
Gloves and chaps needed here folks
Dang he looks like a different man
Are youall gonna get some snow early next week? Here on coastal N.C we are expecting some for 1st time in 5 years.
I really enjoy your videos. It would be great to let us know what type of pine you are cutting. Is that southern yellow pine? Thanks
Yes, it is!
What kind of pine are you cutting?thanks
Looks like the left rear tire has a leak on the tractor
The Chinese assemble that saw dry. I would suggest that you pull the clutch hub and lube that bearing with Lucas red and tacky, grease same with the chain adjuster. I also suggest 32 to one fuel mixture with semi synthetic two cycle oil. It’ll live a long time now. Thank you.
Talking about not thinking it would be a YEAR....I'm in my 70's and in fairly good health...but do you think I'll live long enough to see the old LOG TRUCK fixed up and hauling LOGS??
hair cut made hims socute
Пртвіт з Капат😊
Where's the log truck I figured Tyler would have had it done since all you had left was putting the racks on ?
Shop. Brake problems.
What size is your tractor? I feel bad that you had so much snow!! Wish ours went away as fast as yours does.
60hp
What's the length of your chain saw bar?
Do yaw replant pine trees in place of the ones you take out I know some do i didn't know if you did or not
That is up to the land owner. I’m contracted to cut the timber only.
Great video Brittany, what’s the brand of the blue saw and is it similar to a Stihl, thanks have a blessed evening
What is the brand of the saw? I must have missed that when you were putting it together. Great horse and saw mill videos.
Holzforma
Good job for the horse s try out the cart
It's really important to wear the mask while sawing the poison ivy. I've heard of people getting terrible lung damage from smoke when burning wood that has poison ivy in it. Great video. Tyler, are those poison ivy vines on those logs and is this your land you are cutting on ?
Are these trees you just all pine?
We are after pine mostly!
ON POSION IVY, OLD TIMERS SAID BACK WHEN I WAS YOUNG, EAT ONE LEAF AND YOU NEVER BREAKOUT AGAIN, MY UNCLE SAID HE DID IT, NEVER SEEN HIM WITH IT
Wonder if you could burn the vines off.
You can but you don't want to get in that smoke. The urushiol (oil that makes you itch) will be vaporized into tiny droplets and if you inhale that off to the doctor you go.
Just hook the tractor behind the trailer. 😊 24:58
Nice video and good job. Take care and have a blessed and safe weekend
NEW SAW COME AT PERFECT TIME ,,,HUM. MAKING MONEY + MOVIE MAKIN.
What about using the horses?
Please be careful standing close to the logs while loading on the trailer. If they shift and roll off it won't be good. Don't want to see anyone get crushed or hurt. You can make some short bunks out of square tubing. Yall take care and really enjoy watching your videos.
Omg, I'm deftly allergic to poison ivy. I get it standing in the wind if the tree guys are sawing. Crazy freaking weed.😢😮
Are you going to show teaching Aden how to drive your horses and tractors?
Are you guys going to wash your clothes and the truck and tractor to get rid of the poison ivy remnants? Love your channel. Keep up the good work.
Ha ha, well our clothes and hands. Brittany isn’t allergic whatsoever. I on the other hand have to be a little more cautious.
You need another tractor or skid steer with forks
Where is your log truck?
Shop. Brake issues.
I am hoping that chinese chainsaw does well for ya again . Ive been running stihls for the last several years but i might be looking at trying one of those and saving a few dollars . Everything is pretty much chinese these days anyway .
I have had 2 others. They all been great.
Okay….. you have done it now…… I got poison ivy watching your video!!
Lol
Nice haircut Tyler, it makes you look 10 years younger. Wonderful work with the new saw and you’re one heck of a tractor driver.
Wow, thanks!
Wish you were wearing Saw Chaps, Leather gloves, like you have a hard hat on
Someone got a hair cut ha ha
Tyler looks like a logger.
I still say buy American
You got a tractor, why not push logs off trailer with it
Hard to do when the tractor is on the logging location lol
I understand
Me and you ant no cotton top but we get ur none
