As it is mentioned that kali yuga is of 432000 yrs then there is no way kalki is getting born at 2898 AD. Acc to me, the new child is gonna be a new body for kalipurush and with this kali yuga is going to actually start as mentioned by kamal hassan's character in trailer. Because 2898 AD might be the date of end of golden period of kali yuga where there is not much more adharm or violence.
see it in logical way: our dharma is filled of multiple mysteries and characters. Just look at how many theories are we already making. The director will loose a lot to show if they show the birth of kalki bhagwan already. If this movie will show birth of kalki then they will be bound to show end fight of kalki and chiranjeevi vs kalipurush in second part only. The unique and seperate introduction of Ashwatthama{who in character is nothing compared to Hanuman and Parshuram} through a intro video shows that Ashwin wants to introduce all Chiranjeevis and make a superb cinematic universe{which is already hinted in animation series of bhairava}. So yeah be ready for the masterpiece coming.
Edit: Also we are just thinking about ashatthama's whole arc from killing to saving a unborn child. But we aren't thinking that the child ashwatthama tried to kill{raja parikshit} started kali yuga. So now this might repeat again. I mean that the child ashwatthama is trying to save now will also start ghor kaliyuga
