People keep saying that the campaign isn't good or to not buy mw3 that mw2 is better all around? Since you've played the game and I haven't yet is it worth the but because mw3 looks good to me. Just curious
@@Iowaallday gonna be a long answer for this one. I’ll be honest I don’t think it’s worth the price, the campaign is very short ( I finished it in 3 hours), and I don’t play DMZ. Whilst I will say the multiplayer beta was fun and nostalgic (as the first cod I played was the og mw2 2009) if the game isn’t updated over the year, it will definitely die down. I’ll give credit to sledgehammer who are actually listening to the cod community and making a lot of improvements. As a cod competitive fan, I didn’t like mw2 as I prefer the skill gap with less aim assist and slide cancelling returning ( so you can class me as a sweat/tryhard). If you liked mw2, mw3 is very different so maybe watch some gameplay before buying. If you’re skeptical on spending the money, I’d say wait until the Christmas holidays, see if the game appeals to you and the hype continues, and if it does you can get it cheaper cos of the holiday sales. If it doesn’t, then you saved yourself some money.

Yeah the game is extremely rushed, maybe it was due to them releasing the game a year early as there wasn't supposed to be MW this year, but non the less still a rushed game
It's a real shame that the campaign feels like they created a bunch of random objectives to complete in a bunch of Warzone maps and called it a campaign but you always manage to make the best out of it, even if the material ends up not being the best.

I think you're thinking of last year's campaign. It had some missions like Alone, the convoy highway chase, and the bootleg All Ghilled Up that felt like open combat missions.
Aside from Yuri in MWIII, BURNS was there too in Flashpoint Mission in Call of Duty Modern Warfare III (if you remember him in Mind The Gap from Modern Warfare 3 2011), and RILEY from TROJAN HORSE (one of the doggo from GHOST)
1:30:45 when I played it I knew they were bad because in the beginning they said that first responders can’t come until the place is clear of anyone bad
In infinite warfare it was an open world campaign hub and you could choose what order you do the missions in but I don’t think we’ve ever had true open world campaign missions
