Even though I am retired and we are in the midst of Covid-19, I still follow the guidelines for being productive in my day. Dressing, personal hygiene, doing daily chores, etc also helps to make you feel good about yourself as a person. I can't move to Sweden or to a small village, but I get outside in my yard, and make my home as stress free as possible.
I wish you to be ok. Happy and healthy.
Agree. I will be retiring soon, my requirements are different then when I was younger. My body is not as resilient as before therefore adjustments are required.

I live in the Swedish countryside and I love it. My closest neighbours are 1km away. 3km to the next village store, 30km to bigger store's and 70km to big hospitals and supermarkets. After living 7 years in China I enjoy the silence. Thank you for this video 🙂

I live in rural US in Appalachia, right on the border of a national forest! It really is magical! Fortunately we don't have the frigid winters, and I live in between 2 small towns, so I'm not missing any amenities. So much better than the suburbs I used to live in. Thanks for sharing.

I loved Sweden, i have been very fortunate to visit Sweden starting in the year of 1981 and visited it every year. People in Sweden are very accommodating and welcome you with an open arms. Food are very unique but delicious, countryside is my favorite. Stockholm is beautiful. Sweden people loved you with all my ❤.

Swedish country side is very fascinating. I have been to Upsala during the summer many years ago. During my visit to Sweden that summer I also stayed at my friend's house in Älvdalen. The house was located in the country side, about an hour driving from Mora, surrounded by forest and one big river flows behind the house. The nearest neighbor was about half km away. I had very good time...

I am a nurse in the united States. I wonder if I could move to Sweden for work. It's such a beautiful country and people, and I am ready to leave the mess that is the US behind. In would love to have a homestead in the country and market homegrown goods and foods.
@Thedude 404 I looked into Switzerland but they don't let just any old nurse in. You must be needed in a profession that can't be filled by someone else in the EU. Or be independently wealthy and able to purchase you home and not work. I will have to look closer at Sweden. I used to be pretty proud to be American but not in the last 20 years. I'm saddened by what a mess we have made of the dreams of our founding fathers.
@@loverlei79 that's why these countries aren't a hot mess. They don't let you in unless your can contribute meaningfully...we could take a lesson.
And you couldn't pay me enough money to live in New York. My one acre in Colorado is still better than that mess.

Hiding behind perfection is so true. Recently I had to restart my home business because we moved country... from a big port city in Croatia to German countryside in Hessen. As much as this is so inspiring, I keep getting side-tracked with completely irrelevant details, thinking that it won't be good enough. Hopefully I can find a way to surpass this.
