- Deegan had struggled throughout the season, and Joey Logano took her seat for the Xfinity Series event at the Chicago Street event. At that time, it just looked like she was put to the side for a race, at least that was what we were made to believe. However this, sidelined race, resulted in Deegan splitting from the company and being without a drive for now.
Maybe Jr. and JRM could pick her up in 2025 and back his statement up.

If no one in Xfinity bites then Dale should put her in the CARS Tour in 2025 which would help both Hallie and the CARS Tour series. Dale runs a couple of CARS Tour races every year and putting him and Hallie on the track at the same time would draw a lot of attention and money. It's a great place to gain short track racing experience and set up in a way that promotes clean racing.

They could put her in the #9. Brandon's not doing anything with it.
She will bring the sponsors, JR Motorsports can help develope her with good people.
I have said all along that they moved her up too fast. Just like Danica. She should have stayed in ARCA and trucks.

That would be a disaster for JRM-she needs to face reality and move to NHRA immediately. Changing teams/equipment in Nascar wont help her, she lacks situational awareness and the ability to stay out of trouble

Better rethink this! She had 3 top caliber teammates while at Thor motorsports in the truck series. It didn't do her any good then. Everyone says she didn't have guidance in her Xfinity ride but with or without teammates, she's not going to do well in the top three series. Some people just can't cut it no matter what! She's one of them

She didn't even have a competent team at AM Racing.... Joey Logano had to tell the team HOW to adjust tire pressures. He had to instruct them on how to make adjustments properly. These are 2 things the team should have known prior to Chicago. Hell, he even had to tell them how to properly setup the car, which again, they should have known how to do before Chicago. They claimed to have a "Technical alliance" with SHR, so why was the crew so incompetent? In 2023 she drove a car owned by SS Greenlight, prepared by SHR and pitted by SHR, and her performance was reasonable for a first outting with minimal practice and no prior experience in the car.
But she wasn't driving a Thor motorsports truck. She was just with the team.

A young woman that can handle a dirt car like Hallie is no fluke! I like watching and rooting for her. She may just need direction.
She sucked at the Chili bowl! Her fiancé Chase Cabre actually did pretty good and just missed the main. He really enjoyed his time there and Hailie complained the entire time and swore they weren't coming back.
Please tell me when you've ever seen her race dirt, because her K&N race there was only one other competitive car and she barely beat him at the finish.

Her first "wins" on dirt were driving her dad's hand me down trucks from the lower division when he moved up to the premier division in the stadium trucks. She did legitimately win, but they not only were premium trucks in a limited division, crewed by her father's team, but when she moved to the premier division herself, she did not have the same success.
It did probably give her enough experience to win the two K&N West races she won. I was at them and she was smooth, but everyone else was either out to lunch on the set up or just squirrelly! She had a tight race in the first one. The funny thing is, those are the only dirt races the West series have had in 50 years and haven't had one since. I'm no conspiracy theorist, but it makes you wonder.

I agree with Rick Mast. If she had talent we would have seen glimpse of greatness. Like leading a few laps occasionally or better finishes.
Shes proved herself in other series of racing including the SRX series but in the truck and Xfinety series shes always riding around in the back!. Its like she is racing in her own little world and not the race at hand!, Logano showed the car was better than what she always runs!. My question is does she have the desire and stamina to run these big races or is she scared to get up in the mix!.

When teams at all levels and types of racing quit hiring drivers because they bring sponsorship money this problem will go away.
She should spend 2 more years in Arca with a very good mentor.
She was in Iowa today checking out Indy NXT.
Put her in a car with a competent team and I'd guarantee a better outcome. Ford failed Hailie from the beginning. You can't expect a rookie with a totally inexperienced rookie crew and chief to excel their first season, that's not reality.

@@aaronthomas6155 Did you see Pocano today? AM Racing screwed Josh Berry, who was driving in Deegan's place, before the race started, then looked like a bunch of monkeys trying to fvck a football on two pit stops in a row early in the race.
Deegan certainly needs more experience, but AM was definitely the problem.

If you’re gonna go racing for Dale Earnhardt Junior and I’m saying this for a good good view, you know I know you want to drive forward but if you ever go to Chevy and I’m gonna tell you this you ever go to Chevy and you start winning races under Dale Junior Inc. or Junior motorsports if you ever go under and he helps you through this and I’m gonna tell you this you run with Chevy and I’m not I’m not mocking mustangs or Camaros or or Toyotas but I’ll tell you if you run with a Chevy Dale Junior is one of the great ones he he runs on late models all the time he runs on dirt Millbridge and I want you to know something too. This guy is a really good guy to go racing for and I am a big fan of his father and Michael Waltrip and Steve Park and also Kenny Wallace Because they all raced for Dale Earnhardt and if you ever race a Chevy, yeah you’re gonna have parts that break but if you run with a Chevy, you know I think you’ll be better running upfront and earning your way forward because you know Junior motorsports that’s a really good team and that’s Hendrick powered And that tells you a lot more too is Chevy and I’m gonna tell you this cause you know sometimes Chevys aren’t the greatest but sometimes you believe in them, but I’m not mocking because I’ve had seven Fords seven of them before I had my first Chevy, but you know I am a Ford guy but other than that I don’t drive for all the time you know Chevy is Chevy Cousin drives a Dodge three-quarter ton all the time he had a red one. That was my last race there at the rock at the rock that was the night that Dale Junior finished third I met Dale Earnhardt I wish back then I could’ve got his autograph but I didn’t. His autograph is not worth $10,000 alone autograph you see sometimes you wanna get special autographs getting your autograph would be awesome for mebecause you’re a special lady and I want to see you do well and winning races because you’ve driven Toyota and Ford a Chevy Wood wake up you can still drive the preference preference of your vehicles sometime you know having what you have that’s what too good for a team that really cares about their drivers

Deegan is a product of her environment. Better advice from her parents would have been key. The way this country is and the greed you don’t see anywhere else in the world. I need it I need it now is sickening. She needs to get back to her roots and slow down. Maybe get some advice from someone outside the racing community before making decisions, they may bring a different light.
I agree with Dale Jr. Hailie needs to get out from under Ford. Ford operates on the cheap in NASCAR. Ask McDowell, they are dumping Ford for Chevy, why poor support money and tech.
Mine input is a Chevy or Toyota ride in ARCA, with TRANS-AM TA2 ride also. Option IMSA GT-3 or LMP2. Plus with IMSA, you've got Katnine Legge and the Iron Maiden team that hopefully do some mentoring.

In my opinion, the day that Deegan went from the Toyota development system to Ford was the beginning of the end. If she is going to move her career forward, she is probably going to have to leave Ford.
Toyota cut ties with her for her aggressive driving style.
Dale has a whole lot of advise. Maybe he should put his money where his mouth is ! He should mentor her. He seems to think he knows what she should do or shouldn't do. OK, hire her, and show her how it's done ! With a team like Junior and Deegan, the popularity would be off the charts ! It's all NASCAR would be talking about every week. And with that kind of buzz, interest and especially the publicity surrounding the team and a match like that, I think sponsors will be beating Jr's doors down ! Because you know what they always want is a piece of the next new thing that gets the most "Air Time". The cash infusion from such a match, is something most team owners can only dream of !
She needs quality equipment and most of all a MENTOR. Dale Jr should jump on this. Money will come with her.
I don't know if you are aware of this, but Jr isn't a driver coach at Jr Motorsports.
He isn't even the business coach. That's his sister's job.
Hell Jr will admit it himself, Kelly was 10x the late model driver he ever was, it's just she made the decision to focus on school and get an handle on business.
Jr focuses on his family, his broadcasting career, his podcast career and counting his money from having his name on the building at JR Motorsports.
If anything, when he gets back in a car, he explains how extensively he seeks out coaching from other people!
She was in quality equipment. The problem, as highlighted by radio transmissions from the Chicago race between Logano and the AM Racing pit crew, was that the team was completely lost on how to do their jobs. A driver shouldn't have to explain to the team how to setup a racecar properly. A driver should also not have to instruct the team on how to make adjustments properly. If the driver has to tell the team which direction to turn the wrench to adjust the track bar or how to physically adjust tire pressure, such as was the case at Chicago, the team has completely failed. The only crew member at AM Racing that had a clue what they were doing, was the crew chief that they fired.
@@aaronthomas6155 you'd obviously be surprised at how many "top" level crew member have no idea which way to turn a jacking bolt to tighten a car and which way to loosen a car, or on which corner and nearly zero of them can tell you how a change such as this will have bearing on any other parts of a set up or how it affects the car, and hardly anyone knows how to adjust for a road course, much less a street course!
Most over the wall race day crews are rated and hired on speed and athleticism.
Just a few short years ago we had road crews that handled practice and set up issues, and an over the wall bunch of Primadonna "athletes" that would show up on race day to take over for the glory, sending the guys that did all the hard work packin, before the race even started.
With the elimination of practice most of the good road crew guys moved on in life. Some are still around as shop guys, but even there, it's an assembly kit now. The teams like to underpay young excited "diverse" employees to assemble the cars.
When they get wrecked, they disassemble them, and install new parts.
Even the "paint jobs" are vinyl wraps!

I can compete with a veteran guiding me. There are better drivers on the street than some of the drivers in nascar. You got the funds you race. Talent has nothing to do with it.

Hailie can't drive, she's had some of the best equipment in trucks and progressively got worse. AM racing is not that bad, Moffet had plenty of top tens and 15s last year with that team. Hailie doesn't put in work ... IMO ... based on her social media post ... seems like not much time in her life for getting better behind the wheel, learning the car and gelling with the team. Jr should put his money where his mouth is and put her in one of his cars ... if he can afford the damaged cars.
I hope Dale Jr will give her a second chance to prove herself. Bring her in your organization and mentor her with excellent people who would guide her in the right direction.

Xfinity Series don't have a limit to how many cars a team can run. I know Jr. has Carson Kvapil and Connor Mosak coming up, but Brandon Jones isn't getting it done, so replace him with one of those two, put the other in the 88 and put Hailie in a car. I know you know how to put the right people around her to succeed. You did it for Danica, you can do it for Hailie. She needs to be with a Chevy or Toyota team. Ford is horrible.

Hailie's challenge is that she is aligned with Ford and most Xfinity teams are Chevy or Toyota, only a few Ford teams. The truck series is more like a demolition derby and you can't learn much like that.

First off, the only success Hailie has had is in the wishful minds of the simp world, as far as racing success goes. It's all padded success and puffed up stats with better lighting to appear like something that really matters!
Hailie's success came as a child messing around on social media, drawing in a huge audience of her dad's followers, which BTW, included a large number of adult men! These numbers of followers though are all that sponsors, including her dad's existing sponsors cared about. This is how she got her start!
By her father's own words, he has never seen the drive to race in Hailie, like he sees in others or like he sees in her brothers. She was much more at home hanging out with her grandma backing cookies!

Her success on dirt was actually driving her dad's hand me down trucks from the lower division of off road, pitted by his crew, not the top division stadium trucks that Brian had graduated to. When she did move to the upper division driving his trucks, she did not have the same success.
But Toyota and Monster, Brian's existing sponsors, decided to take a risk and did try the late model path, for one season, but it didn't go well as Hailie couldn't get out of her own way, wouldn't listen to anyone, and was driving a house car at Toyota sponsored Irwindale Speedway.
Strike one against Jr and Bob's ignorance on her history!
They somehow decided that wasn't enough wasted money, so they made the commitment to spend millions more per year to put her in a Bill McAnally ARCA West car (at the time NASCAR K&N) that you and other like to tout as success for Hailie, but while she did truthfully manage to win a race in the first year, it was the dirt track race, which was the first dirt race the series has had in 50 years.
I might add also that the West series is notorious for only having 8 full time teams with only 6 of those legitimately having a good chance of ever winning a race. They also average around 15 cars per race.
So in one of the best and most expensive rides in the West series, she did manage to finish 5th in points out of 8 full time teams.
Toyota and Monster footed the bill for her to come back for a second year, and while she repeated the win at the dirt track, which the series has since not held another dirt race, she was able to add, to her credit, a win at the destruction derby of a race at Meridian Speedway in Idaho, on the small, flat track! You should watch it. It's a hell of a race craft derby of a race.

From there, they decided they weren't done lighting cash on fire chasing ESG points and DEI hires, so they paid for experience in ARCA and ARCA East, neither of which she was very impressive at.
Oh, but that wasn't going to stop them, they got her a seat at DGR, with David Gilliland and his organization. It went so well, Toyota said they had enough and were out! Like female or not, like daughter of Brian Deegan or not, like millions of social media followers or not, Peace Out!
That's where Ford, never wanting to let a bad situation get away from them scooped up Hailie and paid the big bucks to get her a seat at the championship organization or ThorSport, including under the mentoring of the reigning championship crew chief.
Which Hailie infamously wouldn't listen to, as we were all forced to listen to the drama, and the team frustration and they over and over tried to gently coach her to pick up the pace, then she would crash, and they would throw the headsets.
...and I would think, that's why my headsets always have shorts in them!!!

As far as AM Racing, that has been around for a decade, that has a technical alliance with SHR, which is who Hailie got her car through that she ran her one Xfinity appearance last year in Vegas and finished 13th and everyone was overjoyed and started carrying on about how it was so obvious that Xfinity cars fit Hailie's driving style so much better! Hailie going on about the better throttle response. This is where "Hailie" got that "she" should move up!
Strike four for Jr and Bob!
...and we all had to hear about the drama at the driver's intros when Hailie was all upset with her fiancé Chase Cabre for being late, only to find out he was late because "he" was finalizing the details on a deal for Hailie to drive for AM Racing in the Xfinity series, which Hailie was overjoyed with and immediately forgave Chase for being late!
Strike Five for Jr and Bob!
I think Darrel Junior‘s spot on plus we can’t forget the fat. She’s a woman racing with a bunch of guys and yes, they are going to take cheap shots out and yes, they’re gonna try to record it with every driver that I’ve seen NASCAR. I’m not sure will ever be treated fairly in NASCAR just like any of the other drivers and race the same way, but it would be nice to see, they have a lady doing it that would be cool

Best case scenario to be racing in 2025 in the Xfinity series. NASCAR is boring. I would never watch it if it weren't for Deegan being in it. I myself hopes that she goes into some type of road racing such as IMSA, or IndyCar. Possibly even NHRA, anything but the roundy round stage ends, roundy round stage ends bullsh*t. NASCAR has been done for a while.
I AM a fan of Deegan, but she is doing to much on the sidelines with her boyfriend she is a very good dirt track racer, go there if you have the sponsorship you claimed to have, I know that Monster sponsored you before, then you and Chase will be happy in what he enjoys most, Hailey you just was not aggressive enough when you needed to be, and I used to race myself so I know what I am talking about, not a Crouch Potato 😊😊😊

Nascar struck out with Danica and then didn't give Hailie a chance to hone her skills. Jr is right about rushing them up and putting them in a shit show. Hailie is a good driver, just lacks the wheel time to make herself a great driver.
