Gotta say, Donovan is such a huge inspiration for me and is a well established veteran within Disney to Hanna Barbera and even Dreamworks. Plus, it's a great honor that he followed me on instagram and also produced the very underrated Nightmare Ned for ABC!!! Great video 😄😄😄

Two things I remember vividly: the 2 dogs trying to figure out the automatic door at a supermarket, and the recurring character who would say: "Isn't that cute? BUT IT'S WRONG!"
That line is one of those instant nostalgic flash back scenes. I can remember hearing/watching that for the first time mesmerized.
I was obsessed with Super Secret Squirrel as a kid and I still haven't seen the original.

Another amazing interview! If you ever have the crew of the show on again, I would love to see them tackle the short “Cartoon Canines”. There’s a lot of meta textual stuff in that one about cartoon making in the 90s that I would love to see analyzed.
I would love to have them on, I want to do a creator reunion and have some board artist, writers, artists on for that one.

Amazing to see how far you have come with your podcast... you have talked to so many heavyweights, but you have the ability to make them feel like 'one of the guys'.
I haven't forgotten what it felt like to discover this podcast in 2021, back when I was still sick with COVID... like a lot of folks, I discovered it through the Matt/Sam/Tony reunion.
I still go back to both of your chats with Robert Alvarez...it's like getting a master class from one of the greatest animators of all time.
It's been a while, and I wanted to thank you for doing what you do.

Great interview as always! I can’t wait until you get him back. I have good memories watching 2 Stupid Dogs reruns on Boomerang and was amazed at how it looked, predating Dexters and PPG with all the folks who got their start on Dogs like Paul Rudish, Craig McCracken and so many more.
